A DAY AT FLAMINGO COTTAGE

Open your eyes to a tranquil master bedroom. Touches of muted tropical flair offer hints of the paradise outdoors: palm leaf patterns decorate the walls and plush queen bed. Spend a relaxed morning in bed and flip on the HDTV to catch up on morning talk shows.

Sip your coffee on the patio as you map out your day of beachside strolls and gallery visits, then head into the kitchen to whip up a hearty breakfast. With custom cocoa cabinets, Peacock granite counters, and updated appliances, you’ll find an elegant space that will stand up to any recipe. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the intimate dining table.

After an active morning on the town, cool off in the A/C of your tropical living room, decorated with signature pops of lime and flamingo pink. Curl up on the sofa and watch your favorite shows on the HDTV, equipped with a DVD player, cable, and iHome.

Off the kitchen, you’ll find a full bath with echoes of the ocean: pebble stone floors, walk-in shower with sea-grey tile, and palm-tree wallpaper offer a restful retreat.

THE CHARMS OF GULFPORT

Your cottage is just steps from the beaches and parks of Gulfport’s Waterfront District—grab beach towels and chairs from the cottage and head to nearby Gulfport Beach. Hop into an impromptu game of beach volleyball, head down Shore Boulevard, and stroll the paths of waterfront Veteran’s Park.

In Gulfport’s thriving artistic and social community, the charms of Old Key West are preserved. Every day brings a fresh adventure and a new experience to explore—think twice-monthly art walks, the weekly Fresh Market, yearly sailing regattas, sandcastle competitions, art festivals, and Formula One boat races.

Catch 4th of July fireworks from the end of your quiet street. The Gulfport restaurant scene flourishes year-round; try a different restaurant each evening, or frequent your favorites in rotation. The many charms of Gulfport are at your fingertips. There is one queen bed in the bedroom. We have either a twin or queen aero bed that can be used for additional bedding.

You are allocated one off-street parking with this home and are not permitted to park a second car in the off-street parking area even if a space appears to be available. If you need to park a boat in your allocated space, the nearest open street parking that does not require a permit is two blocks away.

Pet allergies: All homes are pet-friendly. This means that a pet has been in the home at some time. If you have pet allergies and do not take medication for them, you should not rent our homes. This does not mean that the home has not been cleaned, it simply means that we will not refund your money if you rent a "pet-friendly" home and find it aggravates your allergies.

Allergies to cleaning products: We generally make environmentally-friendly cleaning products available in our homes, including Mrs. Meyers and Honest Company products. However, our homes are cleaned by a professional cleaning company and we do not guarantee that some portion of the home has not been cleaned with a more "traditional" cleaning product.

Two seasons: High and Standard

High Season: If your reservation includes ANY dates between December 1st and April 30th, your reservation is in the High Season and you are covered by the High Season deposit policy and the High Season cancellation policy.

High Season Deposit Policy and Cancellation Policy: If your reservation includes ANY dates between December 1st and April 30th you are covered by the “High Season” cancellation policy. For High Season reservations, you must pay an initial payment of $500 to reserve it. This payment is nonrefundable if you cancel at any time. Standard Season Deposit Policy and Cancellation Policy : All other reservations (those with ALL stay dates outside of December 1 to April 30th) are covered by our Standard cancellation policy. If you cancel your occupancy more than sixty (60) days before the lease term begins, there is a $200 cancellation fee. Also for these reservations, if you cancel within sixty (60) days of the start of the scheduled arrival date/lease term, you will NOT receive a refund of any amounts other than the refundable security deposit, pet fees and the cleaning fee, IF THOSE HAVE BEEN PAID.
