"I wanted the big house experience with my friends for my retirement. It had everything we needed. With 10 people you need the privacy decks and the four bathrooms, but also the big kitchen and table for 10 for big meals and gatherings. The trees all around the pool was wonderful for privacy from neighbors. I loved the rooftop deck!! Many sunrises and sunsets watch there! The decor was awesome. It was clean and maintained very well. "Outstanding rental and the best host we've ever had. Everything about the property was as advertised and was a perfect fit for our party of 8 adults and 4 young children. The property was just off the beach and an easy walk with umbrellas, chairs and carts. We had a couple of TVs that weren't working and the host had a repair man there the next day. Fixed one and replaced the other, the same day. Check in and out were simple and efficient. We had a great time and highly recommend this property."

"Our family of 12, ages 19 mo.-64 just returned from a wonderful week enjoying this spacious house. Great location to beach even thou most wanted to just stay and swim in the pool! Foos ball table and arcade game also entertained us all. A nice little park a short block away which has nice little playground and a basketball court. Several bikes which we used a lot and plenty of pool/beach toys, towels, chairs, umbrella, etc. Made for a great week!"

"We love our stay! The house is perfect for larger groups - we had 4 adults and 2 teenagers that wanted their own room. Everyone had a queen or king bed and their own bathroom which is hard to find. All the bedrooms have USB charging hubs, which I thought was a great add since most people have multiple charging devices. The pool, hot tub, and backyard amenities were great! The backyard gets morning/early afternoon sun so we would hang out by the pool during that time and head to the beach which is only 1.5 blocks away for the rest of the afternoon. We will definitely be back!"

The pool area is a private oasis screened off from the close neighbors. It's a very short walk to the beautiful beach, and from the roof you can see water in two directions. Owner was extremely helpful and responsive and provided lots of great local recommendations. Our teen loved the foosball table, and all ages enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. It's close to grocery and restaurants. Would recommend for a family or group getaway."

The weather was in the 80's the whole week. We rented a golf cart for 8 and it was fun to get around the island in. Tried many of the restaurants and had delicious meals. Missy was wonderful to deal with and checked on us during the week to see if there was anything we needed. I highly recommend this rental, extremely clean and lots of room to spread out. My grandsons loved the arcade machine. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and giving us all a relaxing vacation!"

"This was the perfect house for a family vacation! We had two sets of grandparents, two kids (2 and 5), parents and one other adult. Everyone had their own space, but the kitchen and open living room was the perfect gathering spot. We enjoyed some happy hours on the roof deck. The weather was a little cool a couple of the days, but the kids still enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of beach toys and beach chairs for everyone to have something they could enjoy at the beach. The location was perfect, just a quick walk to the beach or playground around the corner. Also walkable to some bars/restaurants and a quick drive to Publix or anywhere else on the island. We used the pack n play for our 2 year old, which was nicer than having to bring one with us. Overall would recommend to groups/families and plan on coming back in the future. Missy was easy to contact for anything!"

"Our experience in renting this property was great! The close proximity to the beach and having all the beach needs (chairs, toys, wagon, etc.) available at the house was very nice. The pool and the hot tub were used daily and all instructions about both were easy to follow. The house itself accommodated all of us nicely. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. We also liked that it was on a not heavily traveled street and though surrounded by houses felt very private. Landscaping was amazing! The one issue we had was easily rectified by the host. Definitely a 5 star rating!"

"We had an awesome trip to Anna Maria Island. We had plenty of space for our family plus grandparents. My 3 kids will forever remember swimming in the pool for hours! Beach access was super easy and we liked the central location on the island. We noticed the outside table and coffee table hadn't been wiped down from the previous guests but that was only the minor thing we could find. We will definitely be back!"

"It was an overdue family get together to celebrate Thanksgiving as well.as as many other occasions. The house looked exactly as it was described on the site. It was a good size with full capacity and pretty decor. Kids loved the pool.and jacuzzi area and spend their evenings in the water while the rest of us enjoyed dinners outdoors on the patio. The house is conveniently located 3 min driving distance from.the store, so it was easy to make a quick fun if we needed anything. The beach was 5 walking minutes away that enabled us to have morning walks along the shore. The house had everything we needed. We had a fantastic time."

House was very clean and well appointed - pool and rooftop deck were great for coffee, cocktails and just relaxing. Always difficult to find equal accommodations for 4 couples so BWBH was perfect with 4 comfortable king bedrooms with private bathrooms. Missy was SO nice and responsive with all of our communication. Everything went smoothly during our stay but she touched base right before check-in and on our last day to ensure things were good. We did not cook any meals but appeared the kitchen had plenty of pots/pans/dishes - some dish soap and extra garbage bags would have been a plus. We also did not utilize the bikes or beach stuff but they were available. Lots of great golf and restaurants close by. Would highly recommend BWBH for either couples or families!"

Wonderful house with wonderful owners

"First off, Missy is a DREAM to work with. Her responses are incredibly fast. We arrived to town and early and didn't want to be in public due to COVID so we asked if the kids could at least swim while we waited for the cleaning people to leave--she responded back (on a holiday) within minutes that she totally understood and it was fine. The house is huge and wonderful. There were a few minor things---like no extra sheets of any kind so you couldn't change a pillowcase or change bedding at all. But any real "issue" or question we asked while we were there she was quick to take care of and appreciative to know about. The house is well stocked with every kitchen thing you could possibly need. The bikes provided were an added bonus and a great thing to have. The beach is so close to walk to and not near huge hotel buildings so the beach was often very empty. She had plenty of beach umbrellas and a wagon to cart everything around, which was great. But really the best part of the house is the pool. It is COMPLETELY private. Not a soul can see into the backyard. We absolutely loved the pool area. Several days we never even went to the beach. The mosquitos are a problem at night however---both by the pool and on the rooftop. We would stay here again a million times over. The house was beautiful and comfortable and we can't say enough great things about Missy!"

"Cannot say enough good things about renting here. It is a beautiful property with a pool and a block from the beach. Less than a mile into one of the main parts of AMI with access to restaurants and local shops. We had family down with us and two small kids. We had plenty of room and a lot of stuff to do with the kids. Communication was incredible throughout the entire process and Missy was always helpful both before and during the stay to answer any questions while we were down there. This was our first family trip to AMI and it did not disappoint. Do not hesitate to book this property!!"

"We rented this property as four couples trying to be near the beach and enjoy some warm weather over the winter. The house is very nicely located and an easy walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice and we enjoyed these in the mornings. It was nice to have four king beds and bathrooms separately for each couple. Missy was very easy to communicate with and her house is very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!The description of the property is accurate and it was very nice to have the trolley to travel up and down the island. We did not rent a car.There are a lot of steps in this house so anyone with mobility issues should consider this.This is a great property and highly recommended."

We had 3 separate families and we were all able to feel like we had plenty of private space to enjoy during break times between outings. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and every room had its own tv with tons of channels and Netflix. The kitchen was huge and we loved the colors and decor of the place. It truly felt like a clean luxury resort. We were blessed by being able to stay at this home and will definitely consider staying here again in the future. Pefect set up for multiple families!

"This house was perfect! We had a big group of us and the house was perfect in accommodating all of us. The backyard was our big hang out. The beach is literally a block away and they have lots of toys, carts, etc for the beach. We took use of the bikes and rode around which was fun too. The only time we had an issue with the pool Missy was so quick to get it checked out. To us it was the perfect area for kids as well. Right down the street is some cute shops, cafes, a Walgreens and grocery store. We would absolutely stay here again!!"

And the rooftop deck was amazing...you could see the Gulf on one side and the bay on the other. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed. The amount of beach chairs, coolers, pool floats, towels, etc. was an added bonus. And the bikes! The older kids loved to ride the bikes to get ice cream and play mini golf. And Missy was amazing to work with. Answered any and all questions and checked in on us throughout the week. Perfect house for four couples!

"Four couples stayed here 1/18-2/1/2019. Upon arrival, we had easy access to the house. While there were more steps to negotiate than we realized, it really wasn’t an issue. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Eating in most nights we had every two needed for cooking. Plenty of dishes and silverware so we could go for a few meals without having to run the dishwasher. The location of the house was conveniently located close to the beach and grocery store. We walked most days up to the store and back even if we didn’t need anything. The beach was a close walk across the main road. We had no trouble crossing as most people would stop to let you go. The owner was a joy to work with. She responded promptly to a few minor issues that we brought to her attention. She followed up to make sure things were taken care of. The house is beautifully furnished with lots of beachy decor. Each couple had their own bathroom, which was one of the reasons we rented this particular. The rooftop deck was fabulous, although the weather did not allow us to use it as much as we wanted. The pool and spa are nicely situated in the back with beautiful landscaping for privacy. We had a lovely time in spite of not so great weather. Comfortable beds, lots of space, great hi def flat screens in every room with a great cable package. Would definitely rent here again should we need a house this big in the future. The owners were some of the most responsive we have ever dealt with. Recommend them highly!"

"My husband and I, our three adult children with spouses and three grandchildren, ages 4, 19 months and 16 months thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in this beautiful beach home. The location is great being a two minute walk from the beach. Bridge Street is about a 5 minutes drive away with cute, quaint shops and neat little restau rants. Be sure to visit the Bridge Tender restaurant Or the oyster bar. North of this Beachhouse is Anna Maria with lots to explore on Pine Street. There is a build your own donut shop that is a very cool experience with the freshest donuts you’ll ever taste. This house was set up for families and everything we needed was here including beach toys, a beach cart to walk to the beach and lots of beach umbrellas. We spent countless hours out in the swimming pool and hot tub and grilled a couple of meals outside on the grill in the outdoor living space. We also bike rode around the island. The bike lanes get a bit narrow in spots but we maneuvered between sidewalks and the bike lane. We rented a golf cart for a couple of days and explored and went for several golf cart rides. Our entire family was in agreement that this was one of our best vacations yet!!"

"We just got back from Anna Maria Island and the prettiest home on the island, Blue Water Beach House. It was harder than normal to end this vacation. We enjoyed our first family vacation here. And it was fantastic. We had 6 adults, 3 teens, 1 preteen, a 6 and 3 year old. Blue Water Beach House fulfilled our every wish. The pool and spa were used multiple times a day, before and after the beach. There was an ongoing challenge on the arcade game. I could go on and on. Then there were the beach umbrellas and toys provided. The bikes were used to explore the area. The roof top deck was the crown on this beauty. I simply can't say enough great things about this home. It was the perfect location for our extra special family vacation. No down time only go time - time for fun!!"

"Our stay at this beautiful beach house was from April 14th-21st 2018. The house was very clean and had plenty of room for everyone. The backyard was it's very own oasis. The pool and spa were wonderful and the whole space was perfectly laid out. It was very close to the beach, so hauling all of our stuff to the beach was a breeze. The rooftop deck offered amazing views and was a regular hangout at sunsets. The kitchen/dining area was enormous and offered us plenty of space for everyone to spend time together while eating. This home was perfect for our stay. Any questions or concerns that we had were only a quick phone call or text away. Missy was prompt in answering our call and made sure any issue we had was addressed. We've been visiting the Anna Maria area and renting beach homes for 15 years and this was without a doubt the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. We would highly recommend this home to anyone thinking about staying in the area. It was worth every penny!"

"We just returned from a week at the Blue Water Beach House, and it was definitely the perfect place for our family of 11 (6 adults, 5 kids, ages 2-12) to get together and enjoy special family time together on vacation. This house is absolutely everything you need, and you will not be disappointed! Missy was attentive, a joy to work with, and has thought of everything. The garage was stocked with bikes, pool/beach toys, beach chairs, coolers, all rooms were very clean and spacious, and the pool and hot tub were definitely a bit hit for everyone. The kids loved the bunk beds, and we couldn't believe they never fought once! :). We prepared most meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was ideal, in the heart of a safe and family-friendly neighborhood, and only a 5-minute walk to the beach! I can't say enough about how happy we were with the house and the ease of dealing with the Prout family. We definitely plan to return!"

"We booked this home to celebrate my wife's birthday. We wanted a home close to the beach that also had an outdoor entertainment area. No issues arose during our stay as everything was as advertised. We had 6 adults and 3 children in our party and there was room to spare. "Just returned from a one week stay at the Blue Water Beach House. We had an absolutely fantastic experience from beginning to end and would definitely recommend to our friends and family! The home is gorgeous, spacious, and tastefully decorated. I traveled with my husband, children (ages 7,5,1.5) and in laws and there was the perfect amount of space for us. Everything was immaculate upon arrival, and finding it and getting in was a breeze. We cooked mostly all of our breakfasts and lunches in the home and the kitchen was fully stocked. Each of the bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was lovely and a nice break when we weren't at the beach. My kids loved the foosball table and the arcade machine, I think they were the big hit of their vacation! We also loved the roof deck and the beautiful views of the ocean! The location of the home was perfect for us. At first we were looking on the north end, but this home is right smack in between the north end and bridge street, which was so lovely with tons of shops and restaurants. We walked right out our door, crossed two streets and there was Beach access. We were also able to get to the north end and Pine street very quickly! The owner, Missy, was pretty much a dream to work with. We had only one small issue of the dryer not working and it was addressed within minutes and fixed within a few hours. She also was very accommodating to our requests, answered emails promptly, and had many great restaurant suggestions for us which we greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation home. If you're considering staying here, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to return!"

"What an amazing house! I wish I owned Blue Water Beach House and would not change a single thing about it. The decor is beautiful, the furniture and beds are all comfy, the finishes in the house are gorgeous.The house was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed. We had a group of 5 children and 5 adults and the house provided plenty of room for us all. It rained a lot during our trip, but the covered patio area allowed us to still spend time outside while the kids swam in the rain. The toddlers loved being able to watch cartoons from the pool! Unlike other rentals I have stayed at in the past, the kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and baking dishes. Anna Maria Island is such a safe, family-friendly place with plenty to do. I would highly recommend this house. The owner was fantastic about staying and touch from the date of inquiry all the way through our trip. It was nice to have her checking in. I can't wait to return next summer."
