It is Florida Rental By Owners ("FlaRBO") policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. This privacy statement applies to all information, personal or otherwise received on this website. At FlaRBO, our goal is to give straightforward, transparent information so you can make an informed decision whether or not to use FlaRBO's products and services. FlaRBO is a for-profit company and provides users a software product in the form of subscriptions by helping Florida vacation rental owners advertise their properties to FlaRBO travelers and website users. This Privacy Statement may also change from time to time as needed but will be updated here for full transparency.

Website

This website, floridarentalbyowners.com ("website"), is owned and operated by Florida Rental By Owners Inc., and is subject to the Terms of Use Agreement found in the footer of this website. This Privacy Statement governs information you share with FlaRBO, including personal data and explains FlaRBO's data collection and use practices.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, FlaRBO collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. FlaRBO's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how FlaRBO's visitors use its website. From time to time, FlaRBO may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

FlaRBO also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on FloridaRentalByOwners.com. Third Party Tracking

FlaRBO may track the use of the website to analyze our marketing efforts, improve our services, and improve the efficiency of the FlaRBO website. We automatically collect user traffic website patterns using a technology called cookies, which do not contain personal information. This practice is for website operational purposes only. FlaRBO uses Constant Contact  and Hubspot to manage our email and marketing campaigns. We also use Google Analytics to analyze visitors to our site. Third party providers may use third-party cookies. The use of third-party cookies is not covered in this Privacy Statement. We do not have access or control over these cookies. You should check the privacy policies of those third-parties. 

Email Marketing and Information Sharing

FlaRBO allows you to subscribe, only on an opt-in basis, to its blog and newsletters, it's homeowner news summaries, or to receive company notifications by email. You can always withdraw your permission by clicking unsubscribe in the document.

Aggregated Statistics

FlaRBO may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. FlaRBO may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, FlaRBO does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

The FlaRBO company is located in Canada. The retention period applies to user-level and event-level data associated with cookies The user and event data managed and retained by FlaRBO without an automated expiry date. If a User does not agree with our use of cookies, and personal data retention, please contact FlaRBO here :  Any affected data is deleted by the FlaRBO data retention team. Users must press the unsubscribe button found at the bottom of FlaRBO newsletters or notify FlaRBO with express written desire to remove all personal data from the FlaRBO newsletters as well as the FlaRBO website. 

Business Transfers

If FlaRBO, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that FlaRBO goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that any acquirer of FlaRBO may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Merger, Sale or Reorganization

If FlaRBO should ever be sold or merge with another entity, any information FlaRBO receives from you on this website is a FlaRBO asset and may be transferred or sold without recourse.
