Our home away from home

"This is our 7th year of taking our family vacation on the island. Our second year staying at Calico.. We can't say enough about this house. It has everything you want/need. Beautiful clean home, lots of extras, great location and Celine is the best host we have ever worked with. Very responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We love every minute of our vacation spent here."

"The place is just like the pictures and so much more! There is so much room in the house that my husband and I could go to bed and not hear the children still up in the house. Our children were very happy with all of the activities to do in the house. The area is perfect as well. We were right in the middle of the island and a block away from the best beach area- music every night, food, drinks, and shopping. The trolley stop was also right there. There was a Publix right across the street for running to when we needed things, which was very convenient since we didn't rent a car. The beds were comfortable and everything was in the house that we needed. Our family had a wonderful experience!"

"Great house! Host was amazing, very responsive, helpful with suggestions for things to do, places to eat. House was well stock, better than any other house I have stayed in. Pool was awesome, that is where we spent most the time when at the house. Kitchen was great as we cooked in it several times for a group of 8. Thank you very much!"

The pool was perfect for our 3 little boys!

"This house was great! We loved the walking distance to the beach and all the great amenities provided! The pool was perfect for our 3 little boys, loved our first time at AMI! So many great restaurants in the area! Our favorites were The Ugly Grouper, Waterfront and The Donut Experience! We rented a golf cart and loved taking rides around the island! Celine was an amazing host and was very quick to respond! Her guide prior to the trip was super helpful! Thank you so much! "

Loved the pool, walking to the beach, little ones introduced to PAC MAN, and all equipment provided such as high chair, pack'n play, beach wagon for Grandpa to pull to the beach with all the gear provided . "Celine is the best AirBnb host I have ever had! She is a fantastic communicator and made us feel so comfortable! The property is perfectly equipped with every essential that you could ever want or need as a renter from a fully stocked kitchen, to plenty of towels, to every pool and beach item you could dream of! The pool is an absolute dream! We loved that the property was practically in the middle of Anna Maria Island making every place we were traveling to 10-12 minutes away. We hope to return to this property in the future!"

"Outstanding vacation home! It was the perfect girlfriends getaway!Calico is perfectly located; very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to the beautiful beach.This house has it all; and the elevator was an added bonus for bringing the luggage upstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped, garage had lots of activities and beach accessories. The owner truly planned every little detail to assure a true relaxing vacation for their guests; friendly and easy communication.We'll definitely be returning!"

"The Calico House is a wonderful destination with everything we needed to enjoy our week on AMI! Celine has thought of everything and then some! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beach gear was an added bonus. We loved visiting the beaches during the day and then lounging around the pool at night. The home is conveniently located to many restaurants and just a short walk to the beach. We rented a golf cart which makes it easy to get from one end of the island to the other. Highly recommend Celine's Calico House! You will not be disappointed!"

"We rented this property for Spring Break 2022. There are two master bedrooms with full baths, which was perfect for two couples. Plenty of space for kids or other guests as well. The house is spacious and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook or grill. The elevator was convenient to bring our luggage up and down. We rented a golf cart and never even needed our rental car once we got to the house. The location is perfectly central, in between all of the touristy areas, very close to the beach (a few minutes walk), but in a quiet area. Even though the house backs up to a main road, we didn't notice the traffic noise at all. The pool area is well-maintained, very pretty and relaxing after a day at the beach. The owner is SO sweet and quick to respond. There was no question she truly wanted us to enjoy our stay, and we did!"

Spring Break on Anna Maria Island

"We shared the home with another family and it was a wonderful experience. Plenty of room for both families! House is very clean, in great shape and exactly as described online. The owner (Celine) is very responsive and great. The location is very close to beach, stores and restaurants (can walk to stores and several nearby restaurants). We hope to return some day!"

"The house was clean and well equipped. The location was a quick walk to Holmes beach. The elevator was a nice feature to bring items into the home. Although the weather was cold during the week the heated pool was warm enough to swim. Overall a great experience."

"Our family of six stayed at the beautiful Calico the week after Christmas. The home is beautiful, spacious, and pretty much everything that Celine advertises. She was a wonderful hostess and very much attentive to any needs or communication we had. We enjoyed the home, the pool, the games, the grill, the beach wagon, and all necessities that came with it. The ability to walk to the beach in just a couple of steps was amazing! Would definitely recommend it and yes we would stay here again!"

"This place was amazing. Just what we were looking for in a family vacation. Celine is very kind and easy to communicate with. Very responsive and took the time to make everything welcoming by adding so many personal touches. The only thing that I would suggest would be a crock-pot for the busy cooks of the family, but that's minor. The pool was divine and the location is great. We wish we could've stayed longer and we'll definitely be back!!"

Our family had a great time playing ping pong, swimming in the heated pool, hanging out on the upstairs deck, and just having such a comfortable place to call our home base during the vacation. I was an airbnb host for 3 years myself so can confidently say Celine checked all the boxes to make our stay wonderful! We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay here at Calico. Celine really does it right!! Everything was very clean and all the rooms were huge with super comfy beds. The house has an elevator which we didn't realize at first which makes packing up much easier. She had everything you would need to go to the beach with so keep that in mind. Tvs in every room with netflix was great. The house is just 1 block from the ocean and the little beachside restaurant for drinks and food. The pool was fantastic and heated which was nice after a long day. There's also a ping-pong table and cornhole if you are into that. We will definitely stay here again. Very relaxing, quiet and peaceful! Thanks again Celine!"

"The house is amazing and central to everything including the beach (literally 400 steps away) grocery shopping, the free trolley stop and restaurants. Celine was quick with answers to questions and a dream to work with. She checked in with us to make sure everything was good and left us a great digital book with recommendations in the area. We can’t wait to return for another stay."
