Peace and Quiet
"I loved Buddy's Beach House!! It is located in a quiet neighborhood and best of all just a short walk to the beach and Trolley stop. The kitchen was stocked with anything needed to cook or make frozen drinks for an afternoon by the pool. I was with my daughter and her young son so we really appreciated the beautiful pool! There is a huge pool area with lots of lounge chairs, cozy table with chairs, and a grill. The pool comes with plenty of water toys and floats to keep all ages happy poolside. The outdoor shower was amazing!!! I never took a shower inside.
The inside was perfect also. Big comfy couch in living area and nice beds and pillows made for easy sleeping. I enjoyed my time at Buddy's Beach House and I am hoping to make it my home again sometime."

Great place for a stay!

It was a wonderful place, made vacation even better
"We came to Buddy's beach house for our first family vacation. We have two young children, 2 and 16 months, so the house was a perfect fit. The pool was a perfect size and perfect for the kids, the beach was a short walk, maybe less than 5 minutes. Everything we needed was already there, beach chairs, beach towels, beach/pool toys, a cart, cooler, cooking ware, etc. It felt like a home away from home. Definitely hoping to come back next year! We all enjoyed our stay very much!"

Pool Fun
"Stayed at the property for six days. House is well located and easy to find with lots of amenities close by.
House was very clean on arrival and we had no issues getting in.
Supplied with lots of beach equipment, towels, kitchen equipment etc, so no need to bring anything with you.
Pool area is superb. The pool is lovely and warm and the spa is fantastic as well.
There is a lanai at the front that you can sit in at night without getting attacked by the mosquitoes.
Overall a well located and clean property that you will enjoy staying in."

Light and airy
"We just returned from a stay with our two children, ages 10 and 13. We enjoyed Buddy's beach house very much. It was clean and nicely decorated. The pool was private and beautiful. Nice ceiling fans in every room which helped cool things off when you are over heated from the Florida sun. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys, and a beach cart all provided. About a 5 minute walk to a very nice beach! The ugly grouper restaurant a block away. Nice to have dinner with cocktails and without having to worry about driving."

Great pool area and beautiful cottage style house
"We really enjoyed the closeness to the city shopping, restaurants, etc. Beautiful cottage style house with a great pool area. It was hard to pull our granddaughter out of the pool for meals! Will definitely consider this rental again. Fast assistance from owner also. Loved it!"

The umbrella at the pool was perfect and provided some shade in the afternoon. We really loved the outdoor shower, we never showered in side the whole week! The pool and hot tub were a huge plus along with the great private patio. We booked it again for next year on our drive home!"

"We loved having the pool and hot tub right out our back door. Even better is that we did not have to share the pool with other guests. It is a private pool and it is set up perfect. The house was perfect for our family! And having all of the things needed to go to the beach was a big plus!"

Excellent Home Away From Home 5 of 5
"My family of four have been coming to the island for years and the accommodations of this home are wonderfully clean and quiet. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by a neighbor. There are 2 good size bedrooms, living room, a bright open dining room, small kitchen with all the amenities of home. When you open the French doors to the back yard, there is a lovely pool, jacuzzi and outdoor shower. We also greatly enjoyed the outdoor gas fireplace in the evening. The beach is about a block away and the owner has provided beach chairs, a beach cart, pools noodles and bikes. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked for the following year."

Perfect place for a small family!
"My husband and 18 month old daughter stayed at buddy's beach house for our vacation. It was clean, quiet, and the pool had a ledge that served as a perfect wading pool for our daughter. It was also great to have beach chairs and sand toys available for use. When our daughter went to bed we took advantage of the hot tub every night. Loved every minute of our time there!!!"

Loved It!!!!
"We stayed at Buddy's Beach house for a week Sept. 2016. The place exceeded expectations, not only was it super clean and well decorated, the extras like the hot tub, pool and fire pit put it over the top. The week we were there AMI was having a red tide which somewhat limited our beach time so we were so glad to have such a great relaxing house to spend a lot of our time. We really enjoyed being just steps from the Ugly Grouper restaurant that had a nice outdoor area and good food also. The houses owner, Christine, was easy too reach by phone or email and very accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough but we hope it's not booked the next time we make our way back to the island."

Beautiful and located at the perfect location!
"We will be back next summer for sure! It was the perfect size for my family and our small dog. It was close to the beach! The house came equipped with a lot of amenities that we needed. The only thing I wish it had was a washer/dryer. Overall my family had the best vacation and we were very satisfied with the house!"

The Perfect Beach House
"We loved Buddy's Beach House! It was the perfect beach cottage! It was very clean, adorably decorated, beds were super comfy, everything we needed was there! We loved riding the beach bikes, sitting by the fire pit and hanging out in the awesome pool and hot tub! We brought our two little poodles with us and they also felt right at home there! Can't wait to go back and stay there again!"

Excellent property in great location
"My husband and I spent a week staying at Buddy's Beach House earlier in May. The property was ideal for us. It was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated with almost everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. The crowning glory was the outdoor area with its newly installed pool, which is stunning. There is a BBQ grill and a fire pit, plenty of sun loungers and chairs - everything you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing time by the pool.
The house is in a great location close to shops, restaurants and bars and just a few minutes walk from the island's free trolley bus. The beach is nearby, although a little awkward to get to as the public paths through to it can be difficult to find at first. Having said that, we only ever went for walks on the beach in the evening as there was no need to move away from the pool area.
Christine was a pleasure to deal with from the moment we booked the rental and we felt very much at home in the property. I would have no hesitation in recommending Buddy's Beach House to anyone looking to rent a property on Anna Maria Island and in particular in the Holmes Beach area."

"My husband and I stayed here in March. Everything was lovely... The kitchen was well-appointed and had everything we needed..very nice and clean. Each room was nicely furnished and well kept...we lacked nothing ! I appreciate the owner's decor and taste; her thoughtfulness is evident in every room.

Absolutely Beautiful Home
"have traveled a lot over the past year and I can honestly say this was the closest thing to being home, but by the beach. The accommodations are perfect, 2 good size bedroom, living room, dining room, small kitchen with all the amenities of home. When you open the French doors to the back yard you have your own oasis with a nice pool, Jacuzzi and outdoor shower that was very useful. The beach is about a block away and the owner has provided beach chairs, a beach cart, pools noodles and bikes. If you haven't been to the island before or are coming back, I highly recommend Buddy's Beach House."

Wonderful Beach House
"Buddy's beach house is a great place to stay! I was immediately impressed with how clean everything was and how accurate the rental description was! The house size and room size are perfect, not too small, but not too big. We had four adults and our pugs and never felt cramped for space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking/grilling. All the beach equipment was great to have; it included everything we needed for the beach including a cooler! And the house is within walking distance to the beautiful beach. The bikes were nice to have as well. The outside of the property was very well maintained too. I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone! The rental process was easy and the owner replied to all my inquiries in a timely manner and was very accommodating! Buddy's beach house definitely earned a five star rating from me! If I'm ever back in that area, Buddy's Beach House is the only place I want to stay!"

Buddy's Beach House
"Went for a long weekend - the place was very clean. It was great being close to the beach. The beach was also a nice spot on the island, not as crowded as other sections of the beach. It helped having the cart to take the chairs and umbrella to the beach. Bed was very comfortable also. Walking distance to some restaurants and other attractions and close to the trolley. Very enjoyable time. Hope to go back to the island again."

Life is Good
"Our stay at Buddy's Beach House was perfect. The description of this wonderful little duplex was spot on. We were within walking distance to whatever we wanted: restaurants, laundry services, shops, and of course the beach. The property was clean, neat and wonderfully decorated in a beach chic theme. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the doldrums of winter or just experience the beautiful beaches of western Florida."

Loved Buddy's Beach House
"If I didn't know better I would have thought we were the first to stay there. Everything was beautifully clean and like new. Loved the Sandbar and Dips! and especially Ginny and Janes! Enjoyed bicycles and the free trolley and of course the pristine beach and gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend and we will be back soon!"

Buddy's Beach House
"Buddy's Beach House exceeded our expectations. Even though the weather was miserable (7+" in 2 days!) the home is so light and bright that we didn't get cabin fever. The decor is lovely and very beacy and the kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and cookware. Even though we couldn't go to the beach we saw that there were plenty of chairs and beach equipment. We were celebrating my Mom's 90 th birthday and both she and my sister who uses a walker were able to get around very easily in the house and to and from the house to the car."
