Linens, towels and bedding are kept current and fresh. This home is truly turnkey - all you need to bring are groceries and personal toiletries. We provide shampoo and body wash as well as coffee, tea, creamers and sugar packets with some spices, dishwasher pods, Dawn liquid kitchen soap, hand soap. There is a starter supply of paper goods and laundry pods. We feel it's best that you provide your own laundry soap as some are allergic to certain brands. The grocery stores are 3 miles from the house.

One of only four townhomes, you will be relaxed and welcomed here. Quiet enjoyment is key - the other three homes are owner-occupied by mature adults. This is our family's personal beach house that we share with you - and you will appreciate all of my attention to detail. What I want for my family's convenience is available to you as well.

Our home is only 100 yards to the beach with direct beach access by newly constructed beach ramp. Easy 2-5 minute walk! We provide beach gear: chairs, coolers, beach bag, beach towels, beach toys, shade tent, bikes and rolling beach cart to take it all to the beach. We have an outdoor shower that makes it easy to shower after a fun day at the beach. Full sized washer and dryer keep it easy to wash wet bathing suits and towels after each use. The kitchen is full sized and has all major and small appliances. All essentials are furnished, whether you are making a full holiday meal or midnight snack! We have dining seating for 9!

There are 2 Bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. The Master BR 1 upstairs has a king bed with a futon sofa bed that is useful for smaller children who are more comfortable sleeping with their parents. The Master BR 2 upstairs has a king bed and the 3d BR downstairs has a queen bed. We also have 4 twin air beds and a queen air bed with linens. For the smaller ones, we have high chair, booster seat and porta crib. All BRs have large wall mounted TVs with Roku streaming convenience.

The downstairs family room has ample seating on the comfortable leather sectional, 2 tub chairs and fun wicker chair.  Ottomans invite you to kick your feet up and chill.  There is a media center with 50" Roku TV with generous streaming, DVD, and extensive movie library for all ages. Enjoy our book library!

Motion lights above garage and front door provide added safety when arriving at the home or going outside at night. The ample courtyard opens up from the great room and features chairs, table, decorative lighting and just a comfy spot to enjoy friends and family.   

High speed wireless internet to post all those great pictures of your vacation so others can see how much fun you are having. Or, if you must work during vacation, the internet will not let you down.

Peaceful outdoor spaces include a fully fenced courtyard off of the family room that is a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. Furnished with adirondack chairs. The decorative lights are on a timer and provide a nice ambience. The front yard has a deck with comfy chairs and outdoor shower. We are a non-smoking house, but you can enjoy your smokes on the two patios.

We provide gas BBQ grill with propane.

We are in a quiet beachside neighborhood that is convenient to everything. If you are coming for the races or bike week events, we are only 5 miles from the Daytona International Speedway and 1/2 mile south of famous Main Street.  Sea Orchid Beach House is the perfect family home to stay when visiting students at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

There is so much to do while in Daytona Beach and surrounding area - even day trips to Orlando's theme parks, NASA Kennedy Space Center, Marine Land or historic St. Augustine. Easy day trip to one of Florida's many fresh spring parks. The kids love going here. We are also 1 mile from Daytona Lagoon Waterpark and Game Room. A true fun day for kids and adults - they serve good food and adult beverages with plenty of relaxing shaded lounges. Slides, tubes, lazy river, wave pool with older and younger age appropriate areas! Very reasonably priced too. There are some good museums - the NASCAR race track experience is a must. Plenty of great local and chain restaurants. Parasailing is fun. You can also rent SUP nearby. You can rent professional umbrellas on the beach that don't blow away in the wind and we provide a shade tent.

Our home is easy to reach by air or car. You can fly into Orlando International Airport - 60 minutes from the house; Sanford Airport - 30 minutes from the house; or Daytona Airport - 10 minutes from the house! We are just a quick drive from I-95 and you will enjoy seeing NASCAR's Daytona International Speedway as you pass through town. Although most of our rentals are weekly family vacations, we very much welcome adult time and those coming for the races at Daytona International Speedway or for Bike Week, Biketoberfest, Jeep Beach or Turkey Rod Run. Our location is key for these events!

We offer monthly rental rates to our special snowbird friends. We are available November, December, January and February for monthly rentals. Please inquire. Our guests love spending the winter months at Sea Orchid Beach House and shoveling sand - not snow!!

Pets - we have recently installed upgraded berber carpet in our bedrooms upstairs. In an effort to provide all of our guests with the cleanest, allergen free home possible, we have made the tough decision to no longer accept pets of any kind. We hate this decision but love offering clean, accident free carpet for cleanliness. There are many pet friendly homes offered in the area if you must bring your pet and we certainly understand.

Children are always welcome!!!  We have several repeat families and the young ones call the beach house their beach house.  We love that!

My father was a physician who served as Chief of Staff and Chief of Medicine at the hospital. He even was track physician for a couple of years at the Speedway! You must be 30 or older to rent or have a primary with you that is 30 or older, who will sign rental agreement and be present during rental term.

We do not allow parties or events other than for the authorized and named guests on rental agreement.

No Pets.

No smoking in house or garage, but smoking is allowed on front deck and fenced courtyard.

A signed rental agreement and copy of government issued ID must be signed and returned within 48 hours to secure reservation along with payment.  We do allow installment payments depending on length of time from making reservation to arrival.

Primary signing rental agreement must be on premises at all times during rental term and must be the responsible party for payment.

All terms and conditions of the rental agreement must be followed.
