Phenomenal!
"We've rented a house on AMI twice a year for 8 years on AMI ... we know "the deal" pretty well. We always stay in the 100 block of the Gulf, because we have young kids and go back and forth from the beach to the kitchen to the pool and back... hourly. We always stay within walking distance of Pine.... because traffic is nuts and it is always faster to walk than drive/park. We have mastered the island, for our specific needs, and we know what we are looking for... and what we expect.
THIS SMASHED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS!
It all comes down to one, key, detail : this house is managed by the owners. Directly. They take pride in their home and providing an outstanding experience for their guests. The kitchen was amazingly appointed with chef's quality cookware (no rusty pans and dull knives!), which was a big deal for us because we cook for our hungry kids and husbands too many times to count, every day. The bathrooms were well stocked. The linens were amazing. The furniture was clean and comfortable. The pool was so warm it felt like a lagoon. The beach gear/toys were abundant. The owners were right next door, in daily contact, checking on us and available for any question we had, or deliveries, etc.
I could go on and on.... But this property is a gem. Super clean, well equipped, walkable .... and the difference all comes down to one thing: owner managed.
**Not some nameless, faceless, corporation that is ruining this gorgeous island.
Hands down, this house will be our first choice EVERY time we come to the island.

Wonderful Trip!
"The location of this house is less than a block from the beach, which is so convenient - we didn't have to pack up for the whole day and shuttle everything plus people to and from the beach as we had done in the past. This home was perfect for our group of 7. It had everything we needed, and was the first beach home that really felt almost as comfortable as my own home because it was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked - we ate breakfast and lunch at the house every day and went out for dinner at night. The pool, spa and cabana with the bar and TV was so nice to have in the evenings. The owners were very responsive when I had questions, and when we arrived and heard a smoke detector chirping - they immediately came and fixed the issue. Overall, the property is well cared for - beautiful, updated, clean and well thought out. We will definitely stay here again!"

"I have been coming to AMI for the past 35 years. The north end of AMI (Anna Maria) is the place to be. This property is in a prime location walking distance to restaurants and shops on Pine Ave. It is 4 doors down from the beach (Gulf side). The home is immaculate as it has been recently renovated and clearly has been meticulously cared for by its owners. The living space and its decor was comfortable and spacious with full bathrooms off 3 bedrooms that all could have been masters. There is also a bedroom with built in bunk beds - the bottom bunk is essentially a queen. Kitchen is supplied with everything for entertaining and feeding the crew at home. Big washer and dryer so no need to overpack. BBQ outside if you wish. There is a poolside lanai seating area with wet bar and refrigerator - protected from the elements. Pool, and hot tub are perfect for kids and adults. All of the beach toys are present for kids of all ages and adults - chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, stroller, running stroller, life jackets, kayak, paddle board, buckets for sand castles, etc... The entire property is well thought out - even USB ports in all bedrooms! Just bring yourself and some beachwear. The owners are really attentive. Very flexible. Very professional."

Fabulous place
"I don't usually write reviews but this place was so wonderful. Rick has everything you need and has thought of everything. There is not only beach chairs unbrellas and toys but also a wagon to haul it all in. The beach towels are plentiful and right by the pool like a resort. The kitchen is fully stocked. The place is beautiful inside and very well appointed. Great beds and linens. I can't say enough good about this place."

Perfect Vacation!
"This was one of our best vacation rentals ever. The house and location were perfect, incredibly clean and Rick & Sylvia have thought of everything. The amenities were endless.. shampoo/conditioner/soap in every bathroom, all bedrooms having a bathroom, the pool with beach accessories and outdoor cabana were over the top. There were towels, beach towels, kid games and everything you'd need in the kitchen. We fully intend to stay here again in the future!"

The Best AMI House Yet
"Can't say enough how great our stay was. We had such a great time, being walking distance to beach and having the pool on property. We had our parents, my brother and GF, and myself w my husband and kids - we each had our own respective suite and bathroom which was so so nice. The downstairs cabana area was absolutely perfect and my husband and I were able to sneak in pool time while our girls napped upstairs in the afternoon.
The house was spotless and Rick and Sylvia really thought of every detail (towels, toiletry specifics, blow dryer, life vests for kids, paddleboards, etc.).. they were also so so attentive, every question I had, it was a simple text away and things were resolved shortly after.
If you have a chance to stay here, don't miss out on this gem! Not only is the property incredible, but you really feel taken care of by owners :)"

Family vacation
"We Took a family vacation for two weeks on the north shore of Anna Maria. We loved the location of the house. Perfect for walking to the beach and to pine and all the local shops.
The home was so well kept, clean, and felt like new on the inside. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and any tool you needed to make a great family meal. The beds and couch were very comfortable for movie watching- all tvs were smart TVs and every room and bathroom were very private and everyone had their space.
The beach supplies were fabulous, enough bikes and chairs for everyone. Kayaks, paddleboard, sand toys- really anything you can thing of! The jacuzzi was a lot of fun and the pool was cute to take a dip. The downstairs area by the pool was amazing, but the bugs really prevented us from relaxing by the pool or in the cabana area, we got eaten up like crazy no matter how much we sprayed, mosquitos were everywhere.
We asked Rick for spray and he promptly gave us off candles and sprayed around, he was amazing with communication and always answered any of our needs.
Some notes when visiting:
There is shampoo, conditioner., and soap in each shower.
There are garbage bags (which were a little flimsy and frustrating at times)
Small container of laundry detergent, enough toilet paper and one roll of paper towels.
There is coffee and filters in the kitchen but There are no spices, no cooking sprays, no oils no ziplocs, no aluminum or anything like that in terms of cooking and preparing food.
We really had an awesome time at the house and it felt so comfortable and homey. Thanks so much for a lovely stay in your home!"

Great house and location
"This house is great for families. It's comes equipped with all the beach items and toys you need. Loved having access to bikes as well. It was super clean and plenty of space for 3 teens and 4 adults. We especially loved hanging in the cabana while the kids swam. The location is great as you can walk to many restaurants and it's a quick 1-2 min walk to the beach.
I was most impressed with the owners. Last year AMI our home was managed through a property group and it was night and day compared to this year. Our flight was cancelled and rebooked two days later. The owners asked if I would like them to pick up our groceries and they would have them put away prior to our arrival! That's great customer service! I highly recommend this home."

Amazing home in perfect location!
"We enjoyed a fantastic week on Anna Maria and this property offered more than we could have asked for. It is immaculate inside and out, rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the home is equipped with every activity and amenity needed for a comfortable stay.
It is a minute walk to the beach and just a couple of blocks to shopping and dining on Gulf and Pine Aves.
My three young boys took advantage of the bikes, corn hole, kayaks, paddle board, pool toys and games.
We have rented houses before, but the hosts here have gone above and beyond to provide guests an abundance of towels, paper goods, soap/shampoo, beach conveniences and the list goes on! Highly recommend to anyone visiting AMI!
We look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"We found this gem last summer & loved it so much, it was our 1st choice for spring break this year. First of all, Rick & Sylvie could not more pleasant or easy to work with! Their love & attention to detail for this home is clear! Every possible amenity has been thought out: beach towels/toys/umbrellas & a wagon to tote them in; every cooking utensil needed, W/D with detergent provided; shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer/straightening iron all provided! The home is beautifully decorated, the furniture is comfy, large dining table that seats 8; and the pool/hot tub and cabana area are perfect! The home is about 100 yards to the steps of the beach which is not overly crowded, and the location is very convenient to restaurants & all the fun stuff AMI offers. Cannot recommend this home enough- we absolutely hated to leave!"

Perfect Beach Vacation

We loved this place! It was adorable, nicely decorated, cozy, well thought out and perfect size and spaces for our group (we had 8). It was extremely clean. We enjoyed all the little touches down to pods for the coffee maker and nice shampoo/conditioner for the showers. Having a bathroom per bedroom was ideal. There was plenty of perfectly folded towels for showers and pool/beach use. So thankful for a large dining table and living room for the day it rained so that our group could comfortably relax indoors. We also loved having a nice washer/dryer access. On the nice days we loved all the little extras when we headed to the beach, only a short walk away. There was a wagon, cooler, beach chairs, kayaks, etc that was available for use. So handy to have all that right there! The beach is beautiful with its fine white sand!! We also loved the very private backyard pool area for the windy day we had. We could still relax and enjoy the sunshine from there and the outdoor cabana room tucked just off the pool area was perfect for those that needed to stay out of the sun but still be a part of the group (and for making drinks)! Easy to get to grocery stores and restaurants on the island by walking or car. Rick and Sylvia made some great restaurant suggestions! Obviously, we enjoyed our stay so very much, we are hoping to return!"

Believe what you see!
"Let me start by saying that the owners Rick and Sylvia are beyond amazing! We had the pleasure to meet both of them when we arrived. The hospitality they extended to our adult party of 6 was more than we had expected and so appreciated! The house is amazing. It has recently been updated and they didn't miss a thing. The kitchen has high end appliances, very sharp knives, and 2 Ninja blenders. There was plenty of utensils, plates, cups, & silverware. Bedrooms was spacious and beds are comfortable. Nice bathrooms with good water pressure showers that come with Shampoo and Conditioner. All bathrooms have hair dryer and 2 have great flat irons. For families with children the bunk room was great, they also had a pack and play and high chair for little ones. Now let's talk outside and walk to beach. The pool area with cabana was so nice to have. We spent a lot time in this area in the evening and it was a nice place to hang out. The rental comes with kayak, paddle board, life vest, like 6 bicycle and helmets, bunches of beach chairs, toys, umbrella, and a wagon to pull it the short walk to the beach. It may take 2 minutes before your toes are in the sand. After a fabulous week there none of us wanted to return home. We actually left something behind and Rick was quick to text us and get an address to return it to us. Once again above and beyond what most would do. I hope everyone who stays here has an amazing experience like we did. We will be back!"

"The first place I've ever been that I said "I could retire here and need to come back here... a lot." After a considerable amount of research, our family of 6 settled on this AMI and this VRBO. Have you read these reviews?! How do you not book after those! I would say every positive review left for Rick and Sylvia and this beautiful place are spot-on accurate. Everything was above and beyond. Firstly the location is absolutely ideal. You are walking distance to all of the major spots (the Sandbar, Ice cream shops, Pine Ave, Poppo's, convenience store, shopping, rentals, beach, etc). After cruising up and down the beach multiple times, this little spot off of Willow ave is PERFECT in that it always seemed to be quieter than surrounding areas. The walk to the beach from the VRBO is literally a lovely 3 minute walk. Secondly, the house is absolutely spotless, everything is brand new and the place is extremely elegant. The interior design is very functional and beautiful and well thought out. The pool and hot tub are so private! You are literally in your own little oasis that's steps from the beach (Outdoor bathroom was a nice touch with the kids). You can tell that Syliva and Rick spent a lot of time trying to make this place and their guests experience special. I can't speak enough for how great it was having all of the extras! Kayaks, beach equipment, football, life jackets, chairs, umbrellas, kids floaties, a sweet paddle board, and a cart for transportation... The cost of renting this stuff alone is hundreds of dollars... a day. It was a treat to have all of the goods ready to go. Lastly, Rick and Syliva are the most gracious and charitable owners. We bumped into them around the Island a few times and it was a treat. We have stayed at a lot of rental homes, this was the best experience we have had because they just went above and beyond. We didn't have room to travel with a stroller so we emailed them the night before asking if they had one, we got a text back within 3 minutes saying "We don't, but don't travel across the country with one, we will have one waiting for you!". Between this and a few other extremely generous personal touches, it made our vacation very memorable. It makes sense why this place books up quickly, from the outdoor oasis, the interior beauty, the perfect location and the graciousness of the hosts, this place is above and beyond and will give you everything you need for a truly special and memorable, dreamy,. vacation."

"What an amazing experience we had at cabAnna Maria. The Owners went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
This home was recently renovated with high-end furniture and appliances.
This home is perfect for a family. There are essentially three master suites and a bunk bed room and a separate full bathroom. Each of the kids had their own room and space. The beds and linens were great.
The couch in the living room is great for the whole family.
The kitchen had everything we needed: high-end LG appliances, cookware, knife block and utensils. The two dishwashers came in very handy as we cooked and ate at home most nights.
The amenities were great. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The outdoor cabana was great for watching TV and enjoying the lush backyard. The bicycles were great for exploring the area. The kayak and paddle board were also very fun. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas in a sturdy pull cart are also provided for the 1 minute walk to the beach.
The home is within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We walked down the beach to the Sandbar Restaurant for sunset drinks and dining. An ice cream shop is a block north of the house.
We had a great time and will definitely come back to Anna Maria Island and stay at cabAnna Maria."
Absolutely wonderful stay on Anna Maria Island!
"My husband and I have traveled all over Europe and Hawaii, and this property is definitely one the top three nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in. The property is exactly as described/pictured and indeed, even better in person. No small touch is forgotten: there are even docking stations on the nightstands to charge your phones/devices and Keurig pods in the kitchen for a morning latte. The house is immaculate and tastefully refinished, with high-end appliances and beautiful decor. It was absolutely perfect for our five children, ranging from infant to age 9. There was enough space for all; everyone appreciated the TV's and ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom. There is a cute bunkbed room for similar-aged kiddos. But the best touch of all is the beautiful pool and hottub area, completely private backyard, and cabana with grill, bar, and TV. It was every bit as nice as a 4-star hotel, but with full privacy and the ability to cook and clean for your kids. The house is literally one block to one of the nicest beaches we have ever been to (including on Kauai), with powder white sand and warm water. If that all wasn't enough, the owners of the property are both kind and spectacular hosts. They have a cart with all the pool and beach supplies a family could need, check-in and out was a breeze (they even offered us a late check-out, which was very helpful with trying to pack up 5 small children), they communicated with us at any time and offered advice of things to do around the area, and even brought a bottle of rose one day when some construction was going on around the house. Our family stay at this wonderful property was just the break we needed. Thank you!"

"I have never written a review but felt I needed to for this rental property. My husband and I are a retired couple who were vacationing with our three sons, daughter-in-law and two grandsons (ages 13 and 7). All of us agreed that we loved this place! It is recently remodeled, so the interior is beautifully decorated and with new appliances. One of the highlights was having our own pool and hot tub. Also, the walk to the beach was short. Most of all, the owners were eager to be sure our stay was perfect. I highly recommend this house for a wonderful vacation!"

"The house is perfectly represented online, but even better in person! The furniture & beds were extremely comfortable, along with everything you need -including shampoo!- and a great outdoor area with awesome pool. Add to that, that the beach is about 5 doors down, well, what more could you want?! We had 6 adults & 2 teenagers and there was plenty of space for us all. We would definitely recommend & hopeful to stay again someday ourselves."

Fabulous Family Vacation on AMI
"The house was brand new, spotless and beautifully decorated and outfitted for guests. The pool and cabana area are very private and absolutely perfect for lounging and grilling (although you can hear some traffic on Gulf Dr.). Less then a block to a pristine Gulf beach and every possible amenity available for guests (chairs, umbrellas, bikes, kayak, you name it!). Incredible responsive and welcoming owners with great recommendations for things to do on the island. We hope to be back again!"
Perfect Vacation Home!
"Our stay at cabAnna Maria was truly perfect! We skipped our family vacation last year due to Covid and staying at this stunning home made our reunion even more special. The house is in pristine condition, beautifully decorated inside and out. Sylvia has great taste and thought of everything for her guests! We enjoyed coffee on the top deck and bottom deck poolside daily while my young boys swam in the pool. The living room was so comfortable and spacious, perfect for family movie nights after a long fun day at the beach. We had plenty of space at the huge dining room table for the kids, grandparents, and my brother and sister-in-law to enjoy overdue family dinners together! My boys loved the bunk beds! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need...sometimes you go to beach houses and you're missing things....not the case at Cabana Maria, again they thought of everything! They have every appliance and utensil you could ever need to make anything. It's a great location...a short walk to Pine Ave for ice cream, donuts, etc. It's also a 1 minute stroll to what we consider the world's most beautiful beach and a short beach walk to the Sandbar. Our kids were able to run back and forth from the beach for snacks and bathroom breaks at the house which is a huge bonus for young families. The house has everything you need for a vacation...beach towels, bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, paddle board, etc. I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay and the extremely kind and thoughtful owners! We didn't really have to contact them during our stay because everything was taken care of, but enjoyed meeting them at check in and check out and appreciated knowing that they were there if we needed them. We didn't want to leave!

"We have been vacationing in Anna Maria for the past 12 years, and this is the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in! The home is absolutely stunning! Rick and Sylvia are exceptional owners, and have thought of everything you could possibly need/want plus more while on vacation. We were a party of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids ranging in ages from 8-13. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The bedrooms were large, each with their own bathrooms, and the beds were the most comfortable beds we have slept in. We cooked in the kitchen every night, and found that it had all the utensils and cooking supplies we needed. The heated pool and hot tub are very private, and the pool bath and bar area were thoughtfully planned out. Excellent proximity to the beach, which was very convenient when you’re lugging beach toys for 4 kids. Kids enjoyed using the bikes, kayaks, pool floats, and more. If you’re considering booking this property, DO IT! You will not be disappointed! Rick and Sylvia, we will see you next year!"

The house has been completely renovated from top to bottom and immaculate upon arrival. The attention to detail, layout, and decor were well thought out. The landscaping around the pool, outdoor lighting, and pool lights, and cabana bar makes it feel like your own private resort and oasis! The entire house and property look even better in person. Having a bathroom outside by the pool is an excellent touch and keeps the upstairs dry. Watching football outside in the cabana while the kids swam is nothing like winters in Ohio! "

"This private, freshly remolded, second story home was perfect for two families. The extremely private pool, spa and pool bar was everything we needed and the location next to the most amazing beach we have experienced in the US is incredible. The home is super clean and has everything you need for a great time including beach items. The owners Sylvia and Rick were extremely attentive and ensured we had an great 2 week vacation. We walked to almost everywhere. The island is very special, safe and relaxing. The only thing to consider is that virtually none of the restaurants take reservations. Go early and be prepared to watch the beautiful sunset while you wait for a while. We will be back to this magical place many times over for sure!"
The Perfect vacation in Anna Maria
"My wife and I along with our 1 year old planned a 6 week trip to the Gulf to get of the cold. We came across the wonderful property and after speaking to the owners about the set up for our toddler, decided to book. We could not have been happier. It's located just 400 feet from the ocean as advertised. It's extremely clean, and the owners are nearby to help with any questions, concerns about the property. The property is in fantastic shape, everything is new. Bedrooms are large, and there is a full bath in three of the rooms and one full bath in the hallway. We had friends and family stop by for a few nights and were also impressed with the accommodations. They had everything for our baby, a crib, pack n play, high chair, etc. the location is fantastica as well. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We came on the spur of the moment decision to do remote learning on the beach with our 11 yr old twins. This property was exactly what we were looking for but even better than imagined! The house has been completely renovated from top to bottom and immaculate upon arrival. The attention to detail, layout, and decor were well thought out. The landscaping around the pool, outdoor lighting, and pool lights, and cabana bar makes it feel like your own private resort and oasis! The entire house and property look even better in person. Having a bathroom outside by the pool is an excellent touch and keeps the upstairs dry. Watching football outside in the cabana while the kids swam is nothing like winters in Ohio! "
