I live in Michigan with my wife and two beautiful kids. We started owning and renting vacation homes in tropical Emerald Island Resort in Kissimmee Florida in 2007. We enjoy visiting the many attractions in Florida while staying in our vacation homes. When I am not busy, I enjoy cooking and doing BBQ. Why we chose Emerald Island Resort in Kissimmee: We stayed in hotels and vacation homes before we bought our first vacation home. During that time we rented homes that were marketed as 'Minutes from Disney" only to learn that it could mean as much as 59 minutes! So, when we started looking to buy our first vacation home in Disney World area, our first criteria was that it must be "within 5 minutes to Disney". We found our charming 3 bed tow...

No smoking and no pets. Resort does not allow RVs, buses, trailers and campers.Resort access requires an access card for each vehicle at $20 per card. The cost is per vehicle and for your entire duration of stay.

A real gem near all attractions
"We were a family of 12 who had a blast in this villa. Plenty of room for even more. Pool area was big and had the shaded area (unlike some villas we rented before). Kids had a blast in the game room while adults enjoyed the spacious living areas. We cooked most of the days and kitchen had all tools needed to make food. We BBQed a few times and when we ran out of propane, even found a spare tank. That was very thoughtful of the owners. We will certainly be coming back to this villa and highly recommend. "
We could not have picked a better place
"After looking at many villas on many sites we booked this villa for our vacation. We were 4 families and 16 in total and this was a perfect villa. It had a spacious pool and we used it everyday after the parks. Later at nights, the kids enjoyed the games in the game room that was done quite well from a regular garage. Kitchen had everything and we BBQed twice. Overall very impressed and we will come back to rent this house in about 2 years for our next vacation."
