It has a private walkway from the house to the Atlantic ocean. And a seating bench on the walkway allows you to enjoy the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine -- just steps away from the waves.

This three-bedroom/2.5-bath home comfortably sleeps six. Two of the bedrooms are oceanfront. Amenities include linens, towels, beach chairs, and a grill. Comfortable, and attractively decorated, this home has new carpeting, new appliances, new beds, and brand new windows throughout. Additional features and amenities include an outdoor shower, four TVs, two VCR/DVDs, cable, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and central air-conditioning.

The Atlantic Ocean is just 200 yards away -- with a private beach. There are No condos nearby. Sometimes you'll be the only one on the beach!

FREE WIFI Seranata Beach Club avail. 1 mile north of home for additional charge. Right on Ocean, no roads to cross: New floor-to-ceiling windows were installed this season, and directly face the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy daily dolphin sightings as you eat breakfast or relax over a cocktail. The spacious 18-by-25 foot oceanfront deck allows access from the master bedroom and the living room. Watch the dolphins play from our deck. Collect shark teeth and shells during the day. Last year we had two turtle nests in front of our home. One family was lucky enough to see it!

The home is situated across from a nature preserve. And the dining area has an open deck that overlooks the Intercoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen also overlooks both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal. Two bedrooms overlook the ocean. The master bedroom has a ten-foot sliding glass door providing direct access to the ocean and ocean views. The master bedroom has a brand new, private, marble bathroom and a huge walk-in closet. Two other bedrooms have new twin beds in each; one of these bedrooms overlooks the oc Luxury rental: The spacious living room has 25-foot cathedral ceilings and a spiral staircase leading to a loft that overlooks the ocean. Outdoor amenities include a picnic table on the deck for outside dining. A charcoal and electric grill are also available for your use.

Our home is close to many golf courses. Downtown historic St. Augustine is just five minutes away, as is World Golf Village. Disney World is just 90 minutes away. And it's 40 minutes to Daytona and 45 minutes to Jacksonville. We cater to families. Please e-mail for more photos and details. We are 1 miles from downtown St. Augustine on private beach. No roads to cross sometime you will be the only one on beach. Fishing,horseback riding all are available. FREE Which speed WIFI Publix grocery store 1/2 mile from home and shopping center We have beach chairs,towels, 2 bbq grills. everything you need just bring toothbrush.

"Awesome beachfront house. You can literally just bring your bathing suit. House has everything you need. From beach stuff to cooking it has it all. Nice deck for enjoying the spectacular views. Great beach that was all ours for the majority of our stay. Samantha was very helpful from booking to checkout. All the attractions of St Augustine are just 5 minutes away. If a quiet week away from it all with lots to do just a short drive away, this is definitely the place."

Incredible beach house

"This house is easily the best rental property my family has ever stayed in. It is even more beautiful than the photos show. Just before our arrival, one of the 4 TV's failed. The owner immediately replaced it. I believe that when the property is not rented the owner lives in it. It shows in the way it is maintained. We loved our stay!!"

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was very big. We ended up with 6 adults and 2 kids for a few days and there was plenty of room for all of us and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. The view was amazing. The beach was so nice and very few people on the beach."

Almost Heaven Lived Up To It’s Name

"My Husband and I are frequent travelers to the Vilano Beach/St. Augustine area as I have to come 2 sometimes 3 times a year for Mayo Clinic visits. Almost Heaven indeed lived up to it’s name. There were just the 2 of us and the house was comfortable, clean and had everything you would ever want in a rental. You really do just take your toothbrush. We have stayed in a whole lot of houses and none of them furnished paper products which this one did. We bought our own, but this was highly unusual and a nice surprise. The property is located close enough to St. Augustine we went out to eat almost every night, but the pizza delivery guy was close enough that they delivered. Upgraded appliances, 2 coffee pots, toasters, really a dream kitchen. The house and our time in it was one of the best experiences we have had in our travels to that area. We have already talked about staying in it whenever available on our next trip. Talk about going the extra mile, Rosemary and Samantha were just a text away and were so very accommodating. Only thing we needed though was how to turn the television on which was answered promptly. I did not watch television at all, I just relaxed and enjoyed the sun and the views and sounds of the surf. We have already recommended this property to our friends as we have nothing but positive things to say. Also there was every king of chair, umbrella, etc. you could want for a day on the beach. You will never regret renting Almost Heaven as it surely is. Thank you for a lovely experience and the icing on the cake was I got good results. Hope to see Almost Heaven again in the new year. "

Great Location!

"Although the kitchen has been remodeled, the rest of the house is quite aged. There were bugs and the house had a mildew smell. Several things did not work, such as the front doorknob, and a blind in the living room. The drive into St. Augustine was quick and easy."

Amazing Beach House

"We have vacationed in St. Augustine for the past 7 years and have been looking for the perfect beach house to accommodate our family. After corresponding with the owners, viewing the photos, and reading the reviews, we decided to give "Almost Heaven" a try. In the numerous beach houses and top-rated condos we have booked, this house is by far the BEST. This home far exceeds the listings description. The layout worked perfectly for our family. The master bedroom was huge and allowed my husband and I plenty of room to put our baby girl in a pack-n-play to sleep in there with us. The bed was super comfortable, walk-in closet big, and the bathroom pristine. Having the two downstairs bedrooms was ideal as well. Unlike other homes, these two rooms were sparkling clean, airy, no mildew smells, had ceiling fans, and nice flat screens. Both rooms having two twin beds gave us many options - we decided to put our 3 year old in one room with another family member and in the other room, my mom. The owner thought of every thing - even though there are carpeted, long stairs going to the ground level, there is a mounted gate at the top to prevent any accidents with little ones. And if for some reason, the sleeping arrangements had not worked, the loft off of the living room provided a back up. The entire place was clean, the kitchen was gorgeous and completely updated with every thing we needed to cook at home. It is obvious that the owners love this home and take very good care of it. I had a problem with a blender not working, emailed the owner, and she was quick to respond. She had a back-up blender in the garage - perfect! The garage was a bonus and was stocked with a grill, beach toys, beach equipment, and even more in the storage cabinet on the back porch. We LOVED the deck! It has a picnic table (YAY!), lounge chairs, and built-in seating facing the ocean. We also enjoyed the patio underneath the deck on the ground level. Very breezy and a great place to read. The "garden" area was nice and the private shower to rinse off the sand was appreciated. The short boardwalk was in great condition. When the ocean was near the shore, it was just a couple of feet from the end of the boardwalk! (Thankful for the sitting area and gates at the end.) The beach is very private, no cars, and I found that I prefer the natural beach rather than the beaches south of the city. The view from the house is AMAZING. We HIGHLY recommend this home and plan to return EVERY YEAR! "

"Almost Heaven is situated right on the beach. Absolutely Perfect!! The house its self, is very comfortable and has everything you will need need. Its is very spacious, bright and clean. There was hardly anyone on the beach, so it was like having your own private beach. We saw dolphins and on the last day horses! A very relaxing week We will definitely vacation here again."

" When we walked into this home it was as though we were touring a home in a Homes and Garden magazine. The beach themed decor throughout the home was beautiful. Every room was spacious and done up differently. As you walked into the living room and the master bedroom ,the views of the ocean were breathtaking. When they told us to just bring our clothes and food and have fun, they were not kidding. The house had everything you needed. The kitchen was a chefs dream stocked with pans, dishes, and utensils that you would need to prepare meals with. There were enough linens and towels for our family to use. At night, we would BBQ on the grill they provided and eat out above on the large deck. You are so close to St Augustine to go eat out but no one wanted to leave the house. They even had a shower outside to wash off after a long day at the beach. Porpoises were seen everyday from the beach and the sun rises in the early morning were awesome. This vacation was the best yet because of this spectacular home. We had no worries and had everything we needed for our family to enjoy our special time together.
