Growing up in Ohio and dealing with the long winter season, I was lured down to explore Florida. Stumbling on the Keys, I couldn't believe how incredibly gorgeous they were with the variety of flora and fauna. Temperate compared to the rest of Florida during the summer with clear warm waters and it is usually the warmest place in the US during the winter. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, boating, island life, dining, beaches, all with a small-town feel and all the comforts of the US! What's not to love?! The desire to be part of the keys and spend more time here led me to buy my first place in 1997. One of the best parts is sharing the experience with others.
