"House is in a perfect location steps away from the beach! The pool is perfect size with an actual hot tub that gets hot :) Living areas and bedrooms are comfortable for entire group we had of 5 adults and 4 teenagers. We have been to AMI multiple times and always enjoy the island! Sometimes it has felt crazy busy everywhere during spring break and didn't seem as crowded this year. I'm sure was effect of hurricanes but for the most part everything seemed back to business as usual with restaurants and shops open."

We were a bit worried about our trip after the hurricanes this Fall but Missy was so communicative with us prior to our arrival and then worked so hard to make sure everything was absolutely perfect during our stay! This home has the BEST location if you want fast and direct access to the beach and the pool and hot tub were such a bonus for us! "The location of this house is perfect for bike rides around the island as well as walking distance to the beach. My husband, myself and two of our boys, another family of four and two more family members were able to share this house. We all enjoyed the outside space with the pool and seating area. There are plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers and a wagon. The house was one of the cleanest houses we've stayed in!! If I could make any suggestions it would be in the kitchen area...a griddle would be awesome for making pancakes and bacon. We all loved our stay on AMI!! "I don't know how to write a review that does this property/location justice. If you made it this far and are reading reviews, book this right away!!! My family has been going to FL for years, and this hands down was the best vacation we have taken. We will certainly be coming back. I'll start with the host; Missy is an absolute professional. She is everything you would want in a host; communicative, kind, thoughtful and pays attention to all details of your booking. The house is fantastic - looking at the pictures I figured this house would be amazing but the pictures actually don't do it justice. The house in clean and very spacious. And again; it has EVERYTHING you will need for your stay. We had our toddler with us and overpacked considering the house was well equipped for kids of all ages. Stocked with toys for the pool and beach. We had 9 family members here and when we were in pool in the backyard everyone kept saying how it felt like we were in a remote oasis. The location was top notch; I was expecting a short walk to the beach but was was surprised that it was right across the street. I have stayed at resorts right on the ocean with a further walk away than this house is. Anna Maria is an amazing little town, it has everything you need and is a cute little beach town where you can walk, bike or cart to anywhere you need. Again; everything about this vacation was incredible and if you book this house you will not be disappointed. "

"Everything at this house was perfect. We brought minimal supplies (paper towels, tp, some spices and coffee). We did bring laundry and dishwasher soap as well. We did not find any laundry detergent. There are plenty of beach towels, water toys and floats. Also a beach cart. The pool is perfect with a 1/2 day of sun for this time of year. The evening were cool and a patio heater would have been a plus. We were not able to enjoy the lanai after sunset. The owners checked in and are very responsive. I would highly recommend this property for a large group. Stayed 7 nights in Feb 2024"

"Our stay at Blue Skye was amazing. We even asked if they had a griddle for us to make pancakes and they provided one. Missy went above and beyond to answer all questions to make our week long stay the best it could be. Just a short walk to Holmes Beach. The trolley pick up was a 1/2 block away and monkey bus picked us up at our front door and took us anywhere on the island. The pool was immaculate and James came twice weekly to clean and give us tips on places to go and see. My only regret is I couldn't stay longer."

"Our family is from Minnesota and one cold winter day we found the Blue Sky on Anna Maria Island. My husband, myself, my two adult children and their spouses, plus our four grandsons met to celebrate my retirement. This house...was PERFECTION! It was beautifully decorated, had an amazing pool for young children and provided hours of entertainment for everyone. The hot tub was a highlight, too. The house came with everything we needed for the beach-wagon, umbrellas, beach towels, a cooler, sand toys and beach cart. The house was a short walk to the most amazing beach on the planet and we never had to worry about parking. The house had three floors, so each family had a space. I never even heard one peep from our young family members. The kitchen was well-equipped in every way. It was the hub of our time together. We cannot say enough about this great place. Missy Prout is an outstanding property manager. Even our 3-year grandson said, "I like Missy Prout!" Our family became a stronger unit because of having such an amazing place to stay and celebrate together. It was a better than any of our expectations! "We love Anna Maria Island and this is, by far, the best place we've stayed in the 30+ years that I have been coming here with family. The house is clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The back patio and pool are amazing. The space is very private, surrounded by palms and tropical foliage. The rooftop deck is a great place to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee, or to quickly dry off after a dip in the pool or hot tub. The walk to the beach is, maybe, a block and takes less than 5 minutes and is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy the sand, sun and surf. Missy was fantastic. She was very friendly, professional and responsive to any needs or requests, which were very few and minor since the house is so well maintained. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and restful escape from the stress of "real" life. It was certainly just what our family needed to reset and recharge."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! All the beach supplies were available in the garage as described. The walk to the beach was less than one block. The street is super quiet, the pool and hot tub worked out perfectly. The observation area on the roof is great for watching the water or stars at night .8 mile walk to the fitness center. The owner of the property is super responsive. We had a small technical detail that was fixed within one - two hours. I would strongly recommend this property and I I'm hoping to be back."

"We had such a wonderful time during our stay on Anna Maria Island. The property was in the perfect location for our family. Traveling with small children to and from the beach was super easy with all that was provided; beach chairs, cart, and wagon. The pool was nicely situated and easy for the kids to get in and out of safely. It was also easy to close the gate for the steps up to the balcony to keep them all on the main level. The kitchen was well stocked, laundry was easy to use, and the beds were very comfortable. The best thing I can say is that we didn't want to leave! Great Clean Home with all you need for the beach!

"We stayed for one week in early January with 5 children ages 3-10. The home was plenty big for us, my 7 year old daughter had a King bed to herself! The home was spotless clean when we arrived and very comfortable for our size party. The beds were great which says a lot because I've stayed in many rentals where my back is so sore from terrible mattresses. The kitchen was fully equipped and as a bonus actually had a real blender (a Ninja!). The property was great because we started with a rather cool day in FL but we spent it in the heated pool and hot tub! The beach was amazing and just a one minute walk across the street. Safe enough for our older kids to go back and forth by themselves. We watched the stars at night from the rooftop deck and All in all we loved staying here and We hope to return!!"

"We had a wonderful week and enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sky Beach House. It's exactly as pictured online and even exceeded what I was expecting. It was perfect for our family of seven with plenty of space. We rented an 8-seater golf cart for the week which made it so fun to get around the island. We highly recommend doing that. All of the beach equipment was so helpful with the wagon, beach chairs (thank you for the taller chairs too), cooler, umbrella and more. The floaties and pool toys were definitely used by all. The kitchen was well stocked so we could prepare meals. Missy was easy to work with and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our week. We hope to return in the future!"

"Absolutely perfect! My family and I have spent many years coming to the Holmes Beach area for vacation. We never seemed to find a home that had everything until this home. There are several king sized beds, all the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice. The walk to the beach was very short. And there were not too many stairs getting in and out of the house and to the pool. The hot tub got very hot, I was very thankful for that because some of the hot tubs at these rental properties only get lukewarm. The pool was a perfect layout and temperature. The home was very comfortable overall and had lots of extra stuff for us to use. They had quality chairs for the beach, a wagon, Tons of toys and floats and since we are big cooks, we were thankful that the kitchen was well stocked. Everything that we needed was there."

"This property was a gem for our group of 9 ladies to spend a fun reunion on Anna Maria Island! The easy walk to the beach was ideal and we all enjoyed the beautiful pool, spa and deck. We prepared several meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed and appreciated having both a Keurig and a coffee pot available. We all loved the house layout and the clean open feel! The property manager was responsive and helpful during our stay. One word of warning, beware of the overzealous parking police on AMI! We parked our rented golf cart at the end the driveway evidently going the "wrong" direction and ended up with a $70 ticket....really?? Despite that, we had a wonderful time and made great memories! We would absolutely stay here again!"

There was more than enough room for all of us. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed for the week. We couldn't get the kids out of the pool which was always clean. The year is well maintained and beautiful. The beach was even closer than I was expecting, just a shirt 2 minute walk from the house. Missy was so easy to work with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this property. We can't wait to plan another trip."

Perfect Beach House!

"We had the most amazing vacation and this house was just perfect! First of all, this was a vacation we had to reschedule due to covid last year, and Missy was very accommodating and helpful with that whole situation! The house itself is beautiful, sparkling clean, stocked with everything we could've ever needed, and in a great location! We traveled with a toddler and two babies and it worked out great. We had one small issue with a shower and Missy was wonderful and took care of it right away. The pool was awesome and we even used the spa a couple of times at night which was also great. This was also our first time in Anna Maria and we just loved it! We rented a car, which helped getting to and from the airport and would've been nice if we wanted to take a day trip to somewhere off of the island, but other than that we didn't really use it! We rented a golf cart for a couple of days which was our favorite way to get around, and we also took the free trolley a lot, which was great! All of the beaches on the island are beautiful, and the one closest to the house was our favorite. It was so pretty and never got too crowded. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, Missy! Great Getaway

"I spent the week at this beach house with family that included 3 kids under 10yrs old and we all enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described with a GREAT pool in the back. The landscaping was well done and maybe (in my picky opinion) slightly, yet tactfully, overgrown but in a way that gave a lot of privacy and made it feel like your own oasis. The way the vegetation grew I think there was complete visual privacy from neighbors and you could only hear them if they were a little loud. The pool deck was half sun and half shade throughout most of the day. The table outside sat 6 people and had an umbrella which was a great spot for lunch even on hot days. The outside shower, just inside the fence leading to the backyard, made it convenient for showering off sand from the beach and had a concrete (disc) pad to stand on so you weren't standing on the wet ground. I didn't try out all the beds but mine was comfortable and seemed to be of good quality. The rooftop deck was nice but we didn't spend much time up there as it only had two chairs and not worth carrying up others on the narrow spiral staircase. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, etc and even plastic plates, cups, and bowls for small kids. It had a nice full size refrigerator with ice and water dispenser. The beach was about a block away with no boardwalk or stairs to climb. I think I saw two beach carts in the garage although we had our own. The only real con of the house was there aren't any places to walk to eat but there are multiple restaurants within a 5min drive. I'd have no hesitation renting this house again and having visited AMI three times now would certainly consider this house again in the future."

One block from the beach and an easy bike ride up the island to AMI for breakfast or sunrise bay side or down the island to Publix for groceries:) The back patio/pool/spa area were so great for entertaining and all of the teens loved the rooftop deck at night. Great communication with the property owner and the house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We also loved having access to the beach chairs as well. Everything we needed for a week of fun in the sun. I would highly recommend Blue Sky!"

"We came from across the country - had not sen each other in over 14 months -my 3 kids all in there 30's - son in law and 3 grand kids ages 1, 3 and 13. What a blast - great place to stay - bedrooms worked out great, we each had our own! Very close to beach and a very nice neibourhood all around. Pool and hot tub worked well. Eat in everyday and night due to COVID - but we enjoyed every moment! Weather a little cold, but what do you expect for FL in January!"

The house comes with a complete kitchen with every appliance and utensil, plenty of beach towels and linens, a huge stock of beach chairs, sand toys, and floats for the pool. We made good use of the amazing pool in our back deck and drove north to St Pete and Clearwater for a few very nice beach days since the red tide hadn’t drifted up there yet. "Blue Sky Beach House was the perfect home for our summer beach vacation. This home has every amentity any family or group could possible need on their vacation. Upon our arrival, there was a welcome bag on the counter with a postcard and goodies from the Prout's. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities and even had assorted spices and cooking oils. The bedrooms all had ceiling fans and TV's and one room had two sets of bunk beds, that our grandchildren loved. The private pool and spa and roof top deck were amazing. There is a great supply of beach towels and inside the garage is everything from fold-up chairs, wagons, inflatables, buckets and shovels for tons of sea fun! We loved our stay here and Missy was a pleasure to work with and our communication was always responded to quickly with a friendly and personal reply. Wonderful space

"We had a wonderful family get together for 10 days and the house was perfect for our group if 9 from ages 1 - 71. The house is wonderfully situated, only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and free trolley, and walking distance to shops and restaurants, but off the busy roads. It includes everything needed. We had 3 young grand children with us so the high chair and folding cot were great as were the beach and pool toys provided. The pool was loved by all and easily managed with supervision and the door alarms. The doors to the pool are quite heavy so the youngest ones couldn’t open them without assistance anyway. Missy kept regular contact which was appreciated, and was quick to respond to questions and address one small issue that arose."

We had our friends who live in Holmes Beach check it out, and thought it might suit our needs. It was above and beyond suiting our needs! Roomy, bright, and clean! We had family coming from California, Colorado, Michigan, Texas, and Minnesota flying in, and it all turned out perfect in everyway! Missy was so responsive with any requests we had ( can we drop our luggage off before check-in time?). We had an issue with a clogged shower drain, she was on it right away, and had it resolved within a few hours. Wonderful service! It was a quick skip to the beach and when we had enough sand, we all loved coming back to the gorgeous pool and hot tub available at the house! The kids were in heaven! "We booked the Blue House to take our family for a week to AMI for an early 50th anniversary trip. The house is so pretty inside and is complete with every kitchen appliance, urensil, etc. you could want. Each bedroom is beautiful, as well as the baths. The swimming pool was the hit of the week with our grandkids. Forget the beach and ocean, they loved the pool!! There was beach accessories, although the carts are really rickety. I called Missy about a couple of problems created by tenants before us and she had them fixed by the next morning. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family!!!"

"We had a great trip!! The house is beautiful, clean, well equipped with towels (beach and bath), kitchen supplies, grill, and beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, toys). A straight shot / very short walk to the beach with carts and a wagon to easily get everything there and back. Pool and hot tub were perfect!! We also rented the adjoining duplex for our group of 21 - plenty of space for all of us to eat dinners together and spread out during the rainy days. No issues all week - I'd highly recommend!!! Perfect location - in the middle of the island with an easy drive to the grocery store, restaurants, gift shops. If I had to come up with a negative - there are no rain gutters so when it pours (which we had 4-5 days of) there's a deluge of water that comes down over the front porch, but if your going out in it your getting wet regardless so not a real big deal. House is also stocked with some games, books, cards, wifi (Netflix), which definitely helped on the really bad weather days keep our kids busy (ages 9-20). We never had any issues with enough hot water for showers or laundry which we expected having a full house. Great trip!! Great house!!! Thx so much Missy!!! We hope to come back someday!!!"

Beautifully Decorated Home, Clean, Well Kept, Great For Family

"We loved our stay at Blue Sky. This beautiful home has a beachy vibe, is clean, and the perfect size for our family of 9 (7 adults and 2 children), and the large dining table was used for meals and playing games, and it is around this table that we found out we will be grandparents again. What a great surprise! We enjoyed the pool and it's design, and the hot tub. The house is stocked with beach and bath towels so no need to drag these along in your suitcase. The home is situated just a short walk to the beach and I do mean short walk of less than 1 block, and on a quiet street. The beach is beautiful with gorgeous sunsets and great for shell and treasure hunting. You can choose your mode of transportation to get into town, either a walk on the sand, a walk down the street or take the trolley which picks up/ drops off every couple of blocks. Once in town you might enjoy shopping, or painting a sand dollar at the Shiny Fish Emporium (enjoyed by all the women and children in the group). I would also recommend the Donut Experiment (our grandkids where pressed up against the glass watching them make the donuts fresh and to order). There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in town or on the outskirts of town, which can be reached via car or trolley. Also wanted to mention that Missy, the owner is very responsive to your emails/ questions and this is much appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying at Blue Sky for your family/ friend gathering in beautiful Anna Maria Island. Our family has created lasting memories here and plan of visiting again."

Amazing, Family Friendly Escape

"This house is perfect for families getting away to the beach together. From high chair and pack n play to beach/pool toys - it is set up for success! Only a short walk down the street to the beach and only a few steps out the sliding door to the pool allow for whatever kind of water fun you could want. We enjoyed hanging out around the house and exploring the island on our stay. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to have a relaxing week at the beach."

"We arrived in August for an 8 day stay in Blue Sky & was beyond excited!! I've been in contact with the owner, Missy, since I first booked & am astounded with her kindness & attention throughout our whole experience! Unfortunately, we were hit by our first hurricane, Hermine (which stole 3 days of our sunshine) whilst we stayed on Anna-Maria island but Missy made us all feel calm & rid us of nerves...back & forth with emails with great advice & care for us!! We felt very safe in the villa throughout the storm and were not at all bored waiting it out! Even with the storm we had an absolutely FABULOUS time staying here, it is everything you want in a villa...spacious, bright, modern & literally 30 seconds from the beautiful sands of Anna-Maria island. The heated pool & outside space was big & open and full of sunshine all day, it was spacious enough for the 8 adults & 3 kiddies in our party...and the villa was full of games & beachside equipment which we put to great use!! The beds were comfortable & the rooms decorated lovely, also plenty of space in the bathrooms especially the master!! I can even say that the pool gent that we contacted attended within a couple of hours & was just as friendly & kind as Missy, the amenities on the island are not far from the villa and you are situated in a perfect location on the island itself. I don't usually write reviews & this will only echo those that have already reviewed this property but I felt I needed to also share my amazing holiday experience in the rental!! I am already looking to rebook Blue sky for next year, my whole party share my enthusiasm...such a great villa to stay in, 5 stars is definitely not enough to rate this beautiful home!! I can guarantee you will have the best time staying here and will be as sad as I was to say goodbye!! Thank you Missy for a great great stay in your home! And potential renters this is a diamond villa do not hesitate to book!!"

MOST Memorable Family Vacation!

"I could never have imagined a more perfect location and house to stay at for a wonderful vacation. We had 6 adults and 4 children made up of family and friends. The house is very spacious and close to the beach. The house is even more remarkable in person then pictured. Missy has thought of everything imaginable. It's beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything from the kitchen which had plastic dishes, ceramic dishes, food containers, etc., and many beach umbrellas, a beach type tent, coolers, beach chairs, and things for the children to use at the beach. The pool/deck area is absolutely stunning. The pool company came to the house twice to check the levels and clean it. Missy responded promptly to any questions or issues we had. Everyone was sad to leave but we are looking forward to returning to AMI and would definitely rent this property again. Thank you Missy for allowing us to rent your home which made memories that we will never forget!"

Great Trip to Anna Maria Island!

"This was our first time to Anna Maria so deciding on location and house was just kind of a shot in the dark. But it was a good shot in the dark! We vacationed with 8 kids total and 4 adults and we had plenty of space! The house was very clean and decorated perfectly for the beach. the backyard was nice and the pool was very nice. It rained the first three days we were there and was a little chilly, so we wanted to use the hot tub one night. We had an issue with the hot tub making some crazy noise and we notified Missy and the pool guy was there the next day!! Very impressed! The only issue we had was the people in the unit attached had lots of very loud kids. But that was communicated with Missy after day one and it did improve. Also, if you are like us and flying in with no beach gear, the garage has a lot of great chairs, sand toys, buggies, we left a boogie board, volleyball. It was so great to have all that there! We hope to return to Anna Maria Island next year!"

Great home with plenty of space, nice deck with pool, and great location to the beach.

"Overall my family and I have a great week!! We had 7 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 1 to 11. The house had plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat and hang out either inside or outside on the deck. The beach is a very short walk away and with the 2 beach carts made getting things down there very easy. There were plenty of games and beach toys at the house. The only negative thing that I can think of was that the deck gets hot to walk on so I would recommend flip flops when you're walking on the deck. But otherwise it was amazing!! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to have a great vacation on Anna Maria Island."

Comfortable Coastal Chic Close to the Beach

"Our party of ten enjoyed the lovely blue house. It was comfortable, clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated in a Coastal Living magazine way with turquoise and corals. Our favorite place to relax was, of course, the back yard deck and pool area. There was plenty of seating for all and good privacy. The beach is a very short walk away. Missy was very helpful and friendly during booking and patiently and quickly assisted us with a minor smoke alarm issue that came up while there. Beach equipment and toys were there as well as necessities for babies. A relaxing and pretty home."

BEST EVER REUNION FOR ALL TWELVE

"Grandparents from Fergus Falls, MN.; daughter, husband and four boys from Southern MN; daughter, husband and two children from AZ., spent the week of April 2-9 2016. We had secured this date over a year in advance. Our family has attended reunions in Arizona, Breckenridge, CO., San Diego, CA., Ocean Beach, OR., Sioux Falls, SD., and in MN. OUR TIME ON HOLMES BEACH WAS THE BEST IN EVERY RESPECT! All communication with the owner was fast, accurate and very supportive and encouraging! The new 5 bedroom/4 bath HOME/POOL was not only top drawer, but had all the furnishings and amenities that one may not even have thought of. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. (much different than trying to find a parking place). In observing vacationers in similar properties, it was noted that the number of beach toys, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach chairs, and of course beach carts did not come close to what we had. We saw other vacationers RENTING things for the beach. All in all this was the "best bang for the buck" as they say. I would highly recommend this property for any family reunion. The grand kids are still talking (texting) about our fun time!! During our own "Sunday Service", we thanked God for His blessing (unmerited favor) us with the time together on Anna Maria Island. It is a miracle to have three families fly in from different places, with no problems, great weather and a wonderful place that we can all be together, eat together, swim together, talk and bond! We hope we can do this again. We made great memories and that is where it is at. toegether, swim together, talk and bond. We made memories and we hope we can do this again!!"

Perfect Vacation in Blue Sky Beach House

"We had a lovely 2 weeks of vacation in the beautiful Blue Sky Beach House over Christmas and New Years 2015/2016. Booking was easy and all contacts with the owner Missy were easy, swift and friendly/helpful. The weather was perfect - in the mid to high 80-ties and Florida sunshine + blue skies most of the time... 2 families sharing (one from New York and one from Sweden) - in total 7 adults/young adolescents. The house is perfekt for 2-3 families sharing. We loved the house (plenty of space and privacy - if you like, comfortable beds, large pool + hot tub). Even the "bunkbeds" are very comfortable and big enough for an adult. Short stroll to the fantastic beach. Nice and relaxed atmosphere on Anna Maria Island. The Perfect Place for a holiday with kids (of all sizes), extended family, group of friends. We would definitely recommend this house and owner to our verry best friends!"

Great Family Vacation!

"We traveled with 6 adults and 3 children, ages 3 and under. This home is beautiful, spotless, and well located on the island, close to the beach and nearby a trolley stop. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games/puzzles/books/water & sand toys, nice appliances, comfortable beds, and kids items such as a high chair, pack & play, and kids table & chairs. It was relatively cool (50s and 60s) when we were there, but the heated pool and hot tub were a real highlight for our group. We expected the park at the end of the road would have swings or slides, but it's simply an observation area off the waterway. It was fun to explore the island--shops, the pier, beaches. Check out The Donut Experiment for customized donuts or take a Sunset Sailing excursion. Missy was very responsive in communications and resolving issues. Families with young children would love this place!"

Beautiful Home

"This home was a perfect fit for our family of 11. Six adults and 5 grandchildren, ages 18 months to 8. Everything we needed for the baby. Highchair and pack n play (maybe a gate for stairs, but we worked that out). Even found a small table and chairs in a closet for the little ones. Our weather was less than perfect, so we were inside a lot. Plenty of bedrooms but a little toght on living space, but we survived. We pool stayed nice and warm and the hot tub heated up very quickly once it was turned on, so we swam in cold and rain with absolutely no whining. It was very comfortable as long as we stayed in the water, so we spent hours in the pool despite the weather. The beach really is a very easy "short" walk Two beach carts with plenty of beach toys and plenty of noodles for the pool, just pack your floaties There were puzzles and games for the kids, some family and adult games and plying cards. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of dishes and glasses, even kid plates, cups and cutlery. Large capacity washer and dryer. Had to text Missy with a couple of questions, she was very patient and helpful The house was spotless and very inviting as was the garage and pool area. Our entire family enjoyed the stay."

A Lovely Week in an Amazing House

"We spent a week over New Year and had a wonderful time in this fabolous house with plenty of room for 12 people even though we were only 6 adults and 3 kids. Everything was in very nice condition as well as clean up on arrival. The closeness to the beach was much appreciated by everyone, grab towels the cooler and 2 min later right on the famous beach =) Thank You for letting us rent the house and we highly recomend it for other parties that want some thing special and to stay in a safe and quiet area. Exactly What we Wanted

"Our group of 7 friends felt right at home in this gorgeous and comfortable home. The private pool afforded our sun lovers and shade seekers equal opportunity to relax outside together. The mature trees surrounding the pool and deck area offered a tropical setting with privacy. This beautifully decorated home was ideally designed with vacationers in mind. The bedrooms felt spacious with comfortable beds, there were plenty of dressers to unpack for the week and so many bathrooms. The kitchen is stocked to make it easy to cook meals at the house and the dining room table was large enough for us all to enjoy meals together and card games. We also found it convenient to go out for meals from this location and to walk across the street to be right at the beach. I can't wait to return to Blue Sky beach house!"

Couldn't Have Been Better

"As stated by many other reviewers, Missy is fantastic to work with - friendly, knowledgeable, flexible. The house is beautiful! It's a block from the beach and a relaxing walk (not crossing busy traffic or anything). The pool was heated and shaded so we could spend 24/7 in it if we wanted to. We had 8 adults and 4 kids staying in the house. I can't think of a single thing that we wished was provided and wasn't. It's simply, beautiful, private, clean"

Perfection!

"We just returned from 5 days at your beautiful Florida home! My husband and I, our two children and their spouses, and our two young grandsons (22 months and 5 years) had the family vacation of our dreams! The pool area is absolutely perfect! I am not a water person, and Florida would have been way down on my list of places to gather for this family vacation. But we have relatives in Florida we wanted to see, so we agreed to this. As it turns out, under the right conditions, I AM a water person! The privacy of the pool, and the fact that there is always at least a part of the pool in the shade at all times, provided an atmosphere where I (as well as all the rest of the family) spent many joyful hours together. Pool toys of all kinds are provided, there is a roomy deck with many chairs and a large table, and a gas grill. The house is furnished with everything you could ever need, including top of the line washer and dryer (which we kept quite busy!); high-quality toys, books, and games for all ages; high chair and pack-n-play; beach towels and house towels in abundance. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained, and was spotlessly clean. And the icing on the cake was that the beach is so close, even the little ones could easily walk there in just a couple of minutes! A cart is even provided to haul all your stuff to the beach, including a nice beach umbrella. One final thing I absolutely loved -- on the roof of the house is a small patio with an amazing view of the ocean, beach, and surrounding area! I'm hoping we all can go back again next year."

Best Beach Vacation Location

"Wow! We had an amazing vacation staying in this wonderful beach house. This house has everything for a fantastic beach get away! Great Location, Great Pool, Great Personal Touch! Missy was wonderful to work with prior and during our stay. This house was perfect for our girls trip. Great kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. Even the bathrooms were roomy with great showers and plenty of counter space. The tropical pool with hot tub was our favorite. Total privacy among beautiful palm trees with a large deck/patio made this our favorite place daytime and nighttime. We loved walking to the local coffee shop - Island Coffee Haus and then walking the beach each morning. We traveled from Denver, St. Louis, and Kansas City to enjoy this wonderful island. We will be back!"

Great Vacation Home!

"Our family of 11 rented this house the first week of June and we absolutely enjoyed this location! The owner is super easy to deal with and she was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The beach is a very short walk away and they have a beach cart and chairs for their renters to use during their vacation. The beach towels they provide were also very nice and helpful. The pool is amazing as well. My children loved swimming in it and I enjoyed the hot tub! Missy provides a very helpful book of house information as well as restaurant info and local activity brochures. We would recommend this location to any family looking for a beautiful, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while visiting Anna Maria Island! "House was perfect for 2 families plus grandparents. 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. Just 1block from a beautiful and not very crowded beach. Plenty of beach chairs, pails and shovels, and other beach toys. Has its own private pool and hot tub. Kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and silverware. Numerous good family restaurants on Anna Maria Island though it’s good to make reservations ahead of time especially for large parties. Owner was very helpful and accommodating."

"Wow! This rental is amazing!! Missy has been amazing from day 1 answering any questions I had. This property feels like a home, and is very clean! The beds are very comfortable too, and the linens are nicer quality. We are literally a slow 3 minute walk to a very quiet private beach area! They have everything you could need here too-Toys, wagons, chairs, tents etc. We couldn’t believe how well equipped they have this house to just show up and go! We have a 5 year old and 1 year old and they loved the pool area the most! We couldn’t figure out the pool heater, but was warm enough that it was just fine! You won’t be disappointed if you rent this home! We will absolutely be back! Thank you Tyler & Missy for making your home the perfect place for a beach vacation!"

Excellent Vacation Home!

"My extended family and I had a wonderful time staying at Blue Sky Beach House from 8/16-8/22. Missy was so helpful and available throughout the whole process and she had so many great suggestions and recommendations for anything we could possibly want to do or need to get. The Blue Sky Beach House is the perfect vacation getaway. It is beachy and modern and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! The house comes with a complete kitchen with every appliance and utensil, plenty of beach towels and linens, a huge stock of beach chairs, sand toys, and floats for the pool. The only dim part of our trip was the unfortunate red tide that had taken over the area beaches. However we made good use of the amazing pool in our back deck and drove north to St Pete and Clearwater for a few very nice beach days since the red tide hadn’t drifted up there yet. Overall our family had a wonderful and memorable time on Anna Maria Island and we hope to stay at Blue Sky beach House again next time!"
