"What a great house. We stayed for 2 weeks. Its on the end of the block with open access to the Indian River. Both next door neighbors were extremely friends. The owner was available and very responsive via both email and text at all times. All the tech in the house worked great and instructions were very clear as to how to use things. Beds and linens were clean and comfortable and the shower in the master bath is one of the best I've used in a long time. Pool and lawn maintenance were both communicative so we knew when they were coming, but neither were disruptive to out activities while we were there. The fish were ample, and so the fishing was very fun and active. I'd suggest cutting small pieces of frozen shrimp on a very small hook and using the mullet that you catch as bait for larger fish which get very active at sunset. The small mullet should only take you about 3 seconds each to catch. Speaking of sunsets, these were some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. If that's not enough, the next door neighbor made sure to let the kids and I know when each SpaceX rocket launch was so we could watch. I will be returning to this house for sure!
There isn't much on the island restaurants were a little far away for food to be delivered hot, but we found some really nice restaurants in town. I'd recommend Matts casbah. You can get a really tasty burger and AMAZING fries, or really good sushi too. Meg O'Mally's menu looked good and had good reviews , but the line was pretty long every time we went. (30 min-1 hr).
I almost forgot to mention, Dolphins swim by or under the pier multiple times per day, and were were able to see a few stingrays and manatees too.
We will be retuning."

Beagle Point is a Florida Gem!
"If we could give it six stars, we would. My husband and I, along with our two small dogs, are just back from an awesome one week stay and it completely exceeded our expectations. We are already making plans to return again next year. The house had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy a week of relaxation, including a "souped up" chef's kitchen, the kind that makes you okay with cooking on your vacation. The bed in the main downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and all linens were clean and fresh. The living room is large with a massive flat screen TV that my husband specifically appreciated on NFL Sunday. The owners were great, communicating everything we needed to know along the way and answering all questions almost in live time. They clearly love this property and it shows. But let me get to the best part of Beagle Point, which is the view and the beautiful outdoor oasis the owners have created. The house & property sit along a private & prime spot on the Indian River Lagoon with full views of the water and nature. The view draws you in and is prominent from virtually every room of the house. The outdoor set up includes several poolside loungers, a covered dock with table and chairs, a sitting area with a gas firepit and a long stretch of green grass where our dogs enjoyed bird and dolphin watching. The sunsets were easy on the eyes and soul. I really can't describe in a review how peaceful and serene this property is and how much it is just what we needed after a couple of stressful years for the world. This is the real deal, with no catch. A special thanks to Clark, who picked us up on the backyard dock for a boat tour that included an amazing dolphin experience we won't soon forget!"

Absolutely Amazing!
"I don't even know where to start with details on how much we loved this beautiful home & atmosphere.
The house was so inviting, beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, with amazing views surrounding you as soon as you enter.
The home owners were an absolute pleasure to work with and very accommodating. They provided so much detailed information regarding things to do, places to go, features in their home and were beyond quick to respond if we had a question.
We spent a lot of time in the back yard, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, kayaking, fishing, using the pool & fire pit.
There was not much of a reason to leave the property, but we did to go to the beach, which is very close, a local boat tour & the Space Center, as well as a few local restaurants.
We were a party of 8 adults (ages from 70-36) & 2 kids (8 & 7). We had enough room for all of us to have space and plenty to do with the wide range in ages.
Ending with the how incredible it was to see so much wildlife from the dock. Daily encounters with dolphins playing, amazing birds, fish, little lizzards the kids loved to chase, etc. Also the most beautiful sunsets!
The only downside that I could mention are those pesky little no see-um bugs. We all managed to get attacked pretty bad with bites, so bring strong bug spray and you should be fine.
I highly recommend for a relaxing getaway."

Time and time again
"This has been our 5th trip to Beagle Point and it has never disappointed. Whether it's a short stay or a couple weeks, we will always choose Beagle Point as our place to stay in Melbourne Beach. The property is perfect inside and out. There is something to do for everyone including our dog. You can fish, kayak, stand up paddle board or just relax by the pool all from the back yard. Dolphins are there to greet you every morning right off the dock. The owners are available for any questions and have been extremely accommodating for any needs we may have. The house is well equipped for day to day life, all you need is your bathing suit and yourself then you can let the good times begin. Beagle Point has been the location of many great memories for my family and we look forward to many more in the years to come."

Beagle Point Paradise
"Beagle point is an amazing piece of property and a slice of heaven in a gem of a town! If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation Melbourne Beach is it. If you are looking for a beautifully decorated, comfortable home that lacks for nothing on a gorgeous piece of property with an amazing view Beagle Point is it! The house was better than described. Never felt like it was a rental as all household items were not cheap like you typically find in most vacation rentals so it was very easy to settle in a feel like you were home. Some favorite things to do were to grab a cup of coffee to wake-up on the dock in the AM and grab a glass of wine at sunset and watch the dolphins or manatees in the PM. Unfortunately, not a single Beagle sighting! :) The pool after a day paddle boarding the chain of canals surrounding the property, after a trip to Sebastian Inlet or down to McKee Gardens in Vero. The Mclarty Treasure Museum was also pretty cool. This was an awesome trip, a fantastic house and no doubt we will be back. Miss it already!"

Nice but BEWARE!!!
"Pro's- immaculate property, everything as pictured, generous with essentials, spacious, private, beaches are not crowded. Also, the Liquid safari tour was nice. The neighbor is two-three houses down and picks you up right from the dock. It's called Indian River tours, I think. That was nice and refreshing.
Dolphins!! You will see dolphins.
Manatees we never saw bc the water was too murky and we were tired of getting bitten by the no see-ums.
***RENT a golf cart for the week to get the beach
***Visit Sebastian Inlet Park if you want to see pelicans up-close and personal.
****IF you want to see SEA TURTLES book something right on Melbourne beach. Otherwise you will likely only see their tracks and imprints of their bodies. (Check their season for nesting) You can also drive to Juno beach, to the Loggerhead Marine Center where they house rescued sea turtles. (1 hour 40 min away)
CONS- ***NO SEE-UMS***(combined) my family and I were bitten over 500 times. We look like we have the measles. If I'd known there was an infestation of these we would have booked elsewhere. Never would I have paid thousands for my family to be a buffet for bugs. Owner provided insect repellent & fans on the dock. But it's no match for these no see-ums!! We contacted the owner to see if someone could come out and spray. He apologized but only reminded me of the insect repellent & the fans. The neighbors also said, there's nothing to be done for the "no see-ums."
If I could post pictures of our bites though, I definitely would. So you would know we are not exaggerating. I wish others had said something about these bugs & lizards in there reviews.
Lizards galore!!! If you're scared of lizards get ready, bc it's like the 10 plagues. For every step you take outside 5-6 lizards will run out in front of you. It definitely caught us off guard. They are everywhere!!!!! In the pool, on the pool furniture, outside furniture, when I say everywhere... I mean everwhere.
- The pool definitely definitely needs to be screened in. We would have to get dead lizards out of the pool before we could swim. Not to mentioned being attacked by more no see-ums while you're out of the water. They will attack any piece of skin exposed. (Even our faces)
-Don't leave the door open bc lizards will run right in!! We had two to get in during our stay.
-2 tv's
Owner doesn't allow anything plugged into TV's such as game systems. Apps only."

A great week with kids and grandkids
"The photos do not do this property justice! It was a fantastic week - within our first few minutes we were greeted by a pod of dolphins playing by the boat dock. The kids were amazed and I must admit the adults were amazed too. The next day we meet a manatee and her cub. The wildlife was a bonus we watched a snake bird eat fish every morning, the lizards and the many birds.
The area is beautiful not all built up with t-shirt shops on every corner. It was nice to see open space on the water and not a lot of high rise hotels. A very quiet and peaceful community.
The house was perfect - it provided us with the prefect amount of space for everyone. We ate together and played together in the pool must days. I used Instacart and had our groceries delivered minutes before we pulled up to the house. Instacart also delivers adult beverages! We only ate out once the house was so nice we just enjoyed our time there and we did not want to have to get three kids dressed and ready for dinner after all day playing in the pool.
We only spent one day on the beach the waves were a bit rough for our grandkids - but they enjoyed playing in the sand and collecting seashells. Also there were 14 people at the beach including our group of 7 so nothing like what I expected. Also the weather was 15 degrees cooler than the weather at home - never thought that Florida would be cooler and less humid than Maryland in July!
Couple of things you should know before you go -
BUG SPRAY - the no-see-em's were terrible. The kids had bug bites everywhere. We had brought three cans of bug spray with us and we went thru all three of them. On Thursday we went on a nature boat ride and the captain recommended Andiroba oil but it was too late to order for the trip but when I got home we all rubbed it on all of our bites and it was instant relief. So take some with you and lather it on before you head out for the day.
It took a little getting use to not using the normal water faucet for cooking - there is a smaller faucet with filtered water, ruined a few pots of pasta.
Overall our stay was perfect. Bill could not have been a more perfect host and all of the boating neighbors spoke to us as they passed the dock. One nice lady told us about the area and what we could do with the children. It was a very relaxing, much needed getaway with the grandkids. Both of our granddaughters learned to swim in the pool. Lots of great memories were created there."

Great family get away
"House is better than described along with the location. Plenty to do. Suggest getti.g some fresh shrimp to keep kids busy fishing off the dock, lots of action! Pool was nice, but could have been cleaned before arriving, they did come toward the end of the trip, I would suggest adjusting this schedule. House is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Private beach is very nice, would suggest brining bikes or renting a golf cart to make it easier to access. Overall a great experience would highly recommend."

Wonderful Family Vacation
"This is a really special location. The house is beautiful and the property views are amazing. We went with our kids ages 2-9 and they had an absolute blast. Pool all day, fishing off the dock, paddle boarding, kayaking, bikes to the beach and cooking in their amazing kitchen and patio. We typically vacation at resorts, but this has us reconsidering. The owners, Bill and Cornyn, were excellent hosts and were incredibly responsive to all our texts. Enjoy!"
