The area offers numerous well-designed golf courses in addition to a variety of water sports. Several marinas are minutes away to rent boats, kayaks, and other equipment. Aside from swimming, a favorite activity for the beachcomber is collecting shells and sharks' teeth.

The in-sink garbage disposal is provided in case food accidentally falls into the drain and is not for daily use. Any emergency plumber expenses will be paid from the damage deposit. As the retreat was recently remodeled, we ask that care be taken to wipe wet and/or sandy feet at the entrance. Please help us to keep the house beautiful and in good repair.

All beds should be stripped at check-out and all dirty linens placed in the laundry basket in the garage. Any damp items may be laid out on the washer and dryer or drying rack in order to reduce the risk of mildew.

This retreat is NOT set up to protect children and so if you plan to have young ones in the house, please be vigilant regarding their special safety needs. There are no outlet protectors and there is a lot of glass on the furniture... and so care should be taken to ensure that no one is hurt.

At booking, 50% of the rental fees plus a $500 refundable damage deposit are due. At that time, a signed lease agreement and proof of a $1500 tenants' rental insurance shall be provided by the guest. The owner reserves the right to require a background check on potential tenants.The remainder of the rental fees are due 60 days before occupancy. Codes to the keyless entry will be provided a week before occupancy and after all funds are deposited into the rental account.If booking is made less than 60 days before occupancy dates, all rental fees and damage deposit are due at booking.
