Sea Life EXTREMELY Happy :)
"We are very appreciative of our stay and overall experience at Sea Life Happy! This vacation home has become a Spring Break tradition for our family of five. The house is beyond beautiful and has all of the amenities that you could dream of! We were welcomed by Gaze LLC with a starter kit of some every day condiments, as well as a delicious cake from a local bakery. To me, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! We will never forget fishing as a family, the kiddos boogie boarding on the beach, spotting dolphins in the channels, and many many more memories that we will cherish forever!

Best House in Anna Maria
"We just returned from a lovely week on AMI. This was our 4th time visiting in 5 years, and this home is by far the best one we've ever rented. Scott and Joda have thought of everything. The house has a perfect layout, and was immaculate upon our arrival. The kitchen has everything you could need. There were numerous linens provided, which was nice and not the norm. The house is stocked with games and books which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the many manatee sightings from the dock on the canal, too. My boys tried their hand at fishing the canal with the provided fishing rods, but weren't so lucky there. The beach items provided were great, there were chairs, an umbrella, coolers, wagons and beach bags available for use which was fabulous. We didn't need to purchase anything for a change. We will definitely rent this home again on our next trip to AMI. Thank you Scott and Joda for sharing Sea Life Happy with us!"

"What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The owners have thought of everything in their well appointed beautifully decorated escape. Short walk to the bay and slightly longer walk to the gulf. Awesome relaxing pool adjacent to the canal. We can't wait to come and recharge and relax again. Perfect choice for family and friends!"

Fantastic Family Christmas at Sea Life Happy
"We arrived in the very early hours of the morning, very weary, after long delays at Atlanta but as soon as we walked into this amazing house we knew we were in for a very special Christmas holiday. We are a family of 4 with ages ranging from 14 months to 60+ and the house had something for everybody. The pool, the truly wonderful living area and the whole ambiance of Sea Life Happy makes it a perfect holiday home.
The location cannot be improved, easy walking to the Beach, Pine, the City Pier, the Rod and Reel Pier and Ginny and Jane E's .
Many thanks to Scott and Joda, nothing was too much trouble.

Perfectly Relaxed! Worth every penny!
"Sea Life Happy, hands down is simply amazing! The house is so spacious and beautifully decorated! It has everything you could possibly need and the most comfortable beds! We did explore the island and the beach some, but we were so comfortable we spent a lot of time at the pool relaxing. The houses are kinda close together but with all of the beautiful landscaping you feel like you are all by yourself with palm trees and greenery. Reading on the top deck in the afternoon, watching a manatee swim by were just some highlights. We had 3 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone! Just know if you rent this house you will not be disappointed. We hope to return next year. Thank you for sharing this gem of a house on this beautiful island. Oh and thank you for the recommendations for dinner, you helped us make great choices."

AMAZING!
"My family and I(5 adults, 3 small kids) have been coming to AMI for the past four years. We have had a pretty good housing experiences but this was by far the nicest house we have stayed at! It is so accommodating, beautifully decorated, and SO clean- something I am very picky about! We were unsure about the layout of the four bedrooms prior to our arrival but were really happy with the way it worked out. One of the master suites, along with the bunk bed room is one the main level. While the other master suite and queen bedroom is on the second floor. Scott and Joda were lovely to work with and always responded to any questions I had leading up to our trip. The only downside was that the house didn't come with any "baby items"... Pack n play, booster seat, etc. But there are rental places on the island and we ended up bringing stuff from home. The house was equipped with lots of beach towels, a wagon, chairs and sand toys for the kiddos! We would love to return to Sea Life Happy in the future!"

Amazing!
"This was our 4th trip to AMI(we have been coming every spring break) and our first stay at Sea Life Happy. It was the best home we have stayed at! Everything is beautiful and felt fresh and new. The home is clean(I am fussy about that) and beautifully decorated. The layout of the home was very accommodating to our family. We had 5 adults and 3 children- ages 6, 3, and 7 months. The bunk bed room and one of the king suites was on the main floor while the other king suite and queen room were upstairs. We loved having bikes come with the house as well as plenty of beach toys for the kids. Scott and Joda were great to work with and always responded quickly to my questions. We hope to be back!"

Perfect for Multi-Family Vacations!
"We can’t say enough good things about Sea Life Happy. Such as spacious, beautiful and well-appointed home! It was the perfect oasis to reunite with old friends, relax, laugh and make new memories. Our family of 4 stayed there for one week in November with another family (4 adults/4 children total) and there was plenty of room for everyone. Of utmost importance to our kids, the pool was comfortably warm throughout our stay and it got tons of daily use. Additionally, the beds are super comfy, plenty of towels were provided and the home’s ideally located, whether you enjoy fishing in the bay (I caught 3 small fish off the dock – fishing poles provided) or lounging on the beach. It’s also walking distance to restaurants, ice cream, shopping, the pier, trolley stops and a small local general store. While I do wish they stocked some basic nonperishable food (items like cooking oil and seasonings), the kitchen was fully equipped with all the pots, pans, gadgets and utensils you could possibly need. Finally, Scott and Joda were great to deal with throughout the booking process and our deposit was returned quickly after departure. Thank you for opening your doors to us! Highly recommended!"

Stunning House in a Great Location
"What an amazing house this is, with six adults and four month old baby we could not have had anything better. Great layout over three floors means there is plenty of space to be together and also room to have quiet time. Beautifully decorated, well maintained and exceptionally clean made this the best rental property we have had. The location of the house near to Pine St is also a major plus point as it is easy to walk to shops etc. We loved the canal at the back as there was always some sort of activity on show from the local wildlife from manatees to ospreys. Thanks to Scott & Joda for their help with our questions during booking. You will not be disappointed with this house. Hopefully, we will manage a visit in the not too distant future."

Beautiful home, in a perfect location, on a stunning island
"We were 3 generations of one family who spent a lovely 2 weeks at this amazing house. The owners were attentive from beginning to end and nothing was too much trouble. Having spent many holidays in SW Florida we have come to think of the area as our second home, however, this was our first visit to AMI.... we will definitively be returning!!!!"

SEA HEAVEN
"Sea Life Happy was a very clean, comfortable home with peaceful island decor, relaxing bedrooms, gourmet kitchen, and perfect amenities with the pool, dock, and all the beach supplies. The owners thought of every detail to make their home relaxing and convenient. We enjoyed taking the beach wagon on a stroll to the Bay which was amazing for the children to explore the beach and we saw dolphin each time out. Dining outside in the covered veranda was fantastic. We enjoyed the nearby eateries, ice cream, cupcake, coffee and donut shops, which were all family friendly. Highly recommend renting kayaks for a day. The aquarium made for a fun half day trip."

Charming home

"What an incredible family vacation! Sea Life Happy exceeded our expectations. This beautifully decorated home is in a perfect location with a secluded pool and dock. The property is well maintained and the house comes fully equipped with everything you need. We have been coming to Anna Maria Island for 9 years now and this is home is hands down our favorite!! Everything was within walking distance which worked out great with kids! The owners Scott and Joda were very informative and easy to work with. Beautiful and Spotless
"From the moment we walked into their home we were amazed. Great location. Spotless and roomy! Would highly recommend for families or couples. The kitchen dining family area was a wonderful hangout! Lucky for us we had my sister-in-law who is an excellent cook and we enjoyed many meals together as a family. All the dishes and cooking supplies were plentiful! We spent a lot of time in the pool area, which provided relaxing evening after our days at the beach and shopping. We were sad when our week came to an end. Angie & Pat"

Absolute Bliss!
"You have struck gold when you have found Sea Life Happy! Firstly, Scott and Joda have to be the most helpful owners it is possible to encounter: fantastic communication from my very first inquiry, lots of information and on our first day there, even a phone call to ensure that we were happy with everything. The villa itself is superb: wonderfully spacious and beautifully designed. However, it is the attention to detail and the elegant interior design touches which take this villa to a whole new level. To breakfast on the balcony, listening to birdsong, looking across to that wonderful view, I was indeed Sea Life Happy! This villa deserves the biggest recommend - I envy anyone who is about to book and would love to stay there again!"

Absolutely Perfect!!!!!
"The "Sea Life Happy" is just that! My family and I had THE MOST PERFECT vacation in Anna Maria Island. It was our first time there and didn't really know what to expect. This home is gorgeous and spacious!! It's in a perfect location just steps from shops, dining, the pier, fishing areas, and beautiful beaches. The owners thought of everything!!! Everything is labeled throughout the house and easy to use. It was a perfect spot for my teenage children, my husband and I, and my parents! We can't wait to return. Don't think twice!!!! "The house was everything we had hoped for. The rooms were bright and fresh and everything was sparkling clean.
The pool and dock were perfect.
This was one of the best locations for us, close to both beaches and Pine.
There was practically nothing that we need that wasn't included.

A wonderful Christmas week at the most beautiful house!
"My family and I had the best week at Sea Life Happy. The house exceeded our expectations and the owners (Scott & Joda) were so pleasant to work with from the very beginning. We rented bikes, hung out in the pool/hot tub, boated, went to the beach and ate at some pretty amazing restaurants. The house is in pristine condition and is beautifully decorated throughout. We had 7 adults and a baby for the week and it very comfortably accommodated us all. The house provided everything we needed to have a memorable stay and we will definitely be coming back!! Best vacation spot on Anna Maria island!
"Our family has been vacationing on Anna Maria and Longboat key for 10 years and 'Sea Life Happy' has been by far the best vacation home we have rented. Our favorite was the pool, spa, and downstairs bar area. The home was beautifully decorated, making us feel very at home. Wonderful Home to Get Away
"Our experience at 'Sea Life Happy' was such a pleasant and relaxing time for all. The home is very accommodating and inviting. The open spaces and cozy deck and poolside are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. Walking to the downtown or beach is within easy distance of the house through a beautiful neighborhood. The furnishings and decor are so well done and comfortable. All with great attention to the comfort of the renters. The owners are very experienced as to the needs of a great stay away from home and have provided all the necessary amenities! Perfect Vacation Get Away!
"'Sea Life Happy' is a slice of vacation heaven! The moment you walk into the house - the bright colors, the open floor plan, the beachy charm and the fresh cleanliness - all greet you like a welcoming hug that says "stay awhile and relax". The location is perfect - just a few steps from watching the sun set or using your credit card at all the delightful small shops! My two favorite places was reading on the second floor covered porch with the breeze from the crosswinds and the ceiling fan - my other favorite place was meal time around the large table that allowed our entire large group to sit and relax - a perfect end to perfect days. I am looking forward to reuniting with my girlfriends and making this a annual get away. This property definitely makes you see life happy!"

A vacation home not a house!
"My first glimpse of Sea Life Happy was at night. After walking into this beautiful and warm home, I walked out onto the porch and encountered a beautiful ribbon of moonlight reflecting off the canal just behind Sea Life. It was like coming home! There are many places to rent a house for vacation, but Joda and Scott have made Sea Life a real home which you feel just as soon as you walk in the door. Our time on Anna Maria Island could not have been better. The beaches, restaurants and even the local Community center is close by, but what really made this trip special was the calm, comfort and sense of rest that exists at Sea Life Happy. This is one place you just can't miss. Three stories and a place for everyone. There is space for Yoga, a jacuzzi, and on the top floor a guest bedroom with a view that everyone wishes to wake up to. It truly makes you See Life Happy when you are there!"

Incredible house, bar none.
"'Sea Life Happy' is an amazing vacation home. Great location on AMI and within walking distance to the beautiful white sand beaches. It has all the comforts of home and all the luxuries of a beach getaway- all you need to pack are clothes! Scott and Joda really thought of everything to include in their home and then some (beach chairs, a wagon, umbrella, pool inflatables, sand toys). The indoor space boasts a large open floor plan that can comfortably accommodate a large family or 2 smaller ones. The home is impeccably clean, the pictures just don't do it justice. To top it off, the owners are attentive and responsive during the booking process, willing to answer any/all questions for an easy reservation and seamless check in. We would definitely stay here again."

Memorable Birthday Weekend
"I joined a group for a Girls' Week which happened to begin on my birthday weekend. Sea Life Happy fit each of our needs. We were within walking distance to the bay, the beach, shopping & eateries. During the week I chose at times to stay poolside which I loved- First time in a saltwater vs chlorine pool & the water felt so nice-appreciated not smelling like chemical. I've stayed at a few other AMI homes & enjoyed the sanctuary of Sea Life Happy's backyard on the canal. The inside of the home was just as inviting as the outdoors. The first floor is open & spacious. The furnishings are arranged to invite conversation. Yet the bedrooms are large enough if one chose to nap or have alone time. The home was immaculately clean. The house looks like it is a complete re-do. Pillows, linens, towels, all brand new as was the furniture. This birthday weekend at Sea Life Happy was fun, relaxing, & memorable. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful gem of a rental."

A weekend was too short!
"Spent the weekend at Sea Life Happy with sisters and cousins. Beautifully appointed house with open floor plan and huge kitchen made it an excellent place for good conversation and many laughs. The pool, spa and bar area provided a large open area for relaxing. The house has 5 spacious bedrooms and is well equipped with everything you could need. Highly recommend this for families and/or couples. Our girls' weekend was wonderfully relaxing at this beautiful Anna Maria Island gem!"

Girls getaway
"This house is designed well and decorated very comfortably. There is a front porch, huge back deck, and areas around the heated pool and spa area that are suitable for quiet reading time or pleasant conversation. The property is secluded from the adjoining properties which allow you the feeling that you are in a very private environment. The downtown area is quaint with great restaurants and unique shops within walking distance. The house is also close enough to walk to the beach to swim, sunbathe, explore the shoreline or watch the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely recommend this vacation home to anyone who wants to relax in a beautiful, warm place in Florida."

Definitely the place to Sea Life Happy!
"This is one of the nicest homes in the heart of Anna Maria Island. It is beautifully decorated with lots of spacious living areas included for dining, socializing and lounging. There is a pool and hot tub and it sits right on the canal. The community center is a block away and open to the public. You’ve got to try Pickleball! We rented bikes and toured the island. We walked to the beach, to the pier, to shopping and to restaurants. This home is so aptly named Sea Life Happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to book again!"

Awesome house
"This was my second trip to Anna Maria Island. It's a charming place with beautiful beaches, a laid back feel without high rises or chain restaurants. But what really made our vacation stand out was this amazing house, Sea Life Happy. It had a great layout with 2 master suites and lots of open space. To be honest, we didn't do much cooking but the kitchen was to die for and we hung out there often because it was so inviting. The beds were very comfortable as was all the furniture in the home. Lots of comfy couches, several places to hang out in the house, beautiful color schemes and a homey feeling made us feel pampered and comfortable. The location couldn't be better. We could walk or ride bikes nearly everywhere -- the beach, the pier, several restaurants and the shops on Pine Street. The views of the canal from the deck were peaceful and beautiful and the pool was private and comfortable. The owners were very attentive and you could tell they wanted to be sure we were happy. I hope to be a repeat renter next year."

Another Awesome AMI Vacation &
"This was our third summer in AMI, and the 3rd different house that we used. "Sea Life Happy" is an outstanding house for larger families or 2 families at once. The pictures you see are what you get, a beautifully decorated and very roomy and spacious house. It has all the amenities one could ask for, pool, canal location, cleanliness, TV's, seating, comfortable beds, garage, location on island, proximity to pier & beach, and I could go on with the list. To make things even better, dealing with Scott & Joda was seamless and a real pleasure. They did an amazing job to make "Sea Life Happy" a place to remember! When you leave, the question on your mind will be "How far in advance am I going to have to book Sea Life Happy so that I get the weekend I want?" & that you will be staying longer than you did the year before!"

Great Week at Anna Maria Island and "Sea Life Happy"
"Just returned from our first trip to Anna Maria Island and already planning our next visit. Anna Maria Island is a wonderful place for couples/families to vacation, and Sea Life Happy is the PERFECT home to rent. The island has all the charm of old Florida, the sugar white beaches/sandbars, quaint restaurants and boutique stores. While the island was a joy, "Sea Life Happy" is definitely what made our trip so special. Located in the more desirable North end area of the island, the home is steps from the bay beach, three blocks from the gulf beach, two streets from the boutique shops of Pine Ave, located on a quiet canal and has a pool(couldn't get the kids out of the pool). We brought our boat for trips to the nearby sandbars, fishing, dining and water sports, and found the location very central to ramps and all activities. Bring the boat! Unlike some other rentals we have contracted through VRBO, this house is even more beautiful than the photos. Scott and Joda have done an excellent job with all the furnishings and the condition of the property is like stepping into an issue of Coastal Living magazine. In fact, the only thing that exceeded the location and the house was our dealings with Scott and Joda. This experience truly felt more like staying with friends than renting on VRBO.
If you are looking for a wonderful rental home on Anna Maria Island and great people to deal with, I can not recommend "Sea Life Happy" more strongly. Your only regret will be that you didn't book for a longer stay."

A lovely house and an incredible stay
"This lovely house is situated at the north end of Anna maria Island and with nice restaurants at walking distance. We took long power walks at the wonderful beach every morning. The house is very beautiful and in excellent condition. We really enjoyed the large living room and kitchen as well as the sitting on the porch overlooking the canal. We will definitively go back to Sea Life Happy.

Incredible stay at Sea Life Happy!
"We loved every minute of our trip to Sea Life Happy and Anna Maria Island! From the moment we booked our stay, Scott and Joda were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We knew it would be a special vacation, but when we walked in the front door, we were amazed by the tasteful decorating, huge living area, and special touches including a porch overlooking the canal, a bar area that opens onto the downstairs patio, a sitting area on the canal, and a large pool and spa that we could all enjoy. Scott and Joda's home was a very short walking distance to restaurants and the Anna Maria pier and also only a couple of blocks from the beach. We will definitely be returning next year and highly recommend Anna Maria Island and Sea Life Happy to others looking for a relaxing, small town Florida experience!"

Amazing Visit to Sea Life Happy & AMI
"When we walked in the doors of this home, we just knew it was going to be a fantastic week! Scott and Joda did an amazing job with their home. From high end decorating with soothing colors, to the pool/hot tub that overlooks the canal, to their outstanding customer service, we loved every aspect of our time at Sea Life Happy. "We loved our stay in this beautiful house which had everything you needed and more. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and local amenities. We saw lots of manatees, dolphins and so much wildlife. The pool and spa were lovely to relax in too. Scott and Joda were very responsive and answered any questions very promptly. Amazing house and location
"The house was awesome with everything you could possibly need and more. The water access for our boat made it easy to use daily, parked it right at the dock. The pool and area around the pool made for a great family gathering each day.
The house was open with plenty of room for everyone. Two great master suites made it comfortable for both families.

"Sea Life Happy is a top tier vacation rental. There isn't anything you'll need that's not available. It is beautifully decorated with a comfortable beach theme while certainly not overdone. It was as clean as can be and the furnishings, including linens, kitchen appliances, cookware, etc. were high quality. It is a privilege to recommend this home."

"Sea Life Happy is a gorgeously maintained home. It is newly update with state of the art modern amenities. The downstairs pool/spa area with adjoining bar was the focal point of our stay; swimming, lounging, listening to music, and enjoying the sunshine! The dock off of the canal is a great place to see manatees (we saw at least 10)! Walking distance to Pine Avenue, the beach, and great restaurants!

"We had a great family vacation at the home. We were very impressed with how well stocked the home was with everything we needed. We had a blast hanging out in the amazing back yard pool/bar area. The home is in a great quiet neighborhood, but yet just a short walk to great beaches and great food. Many amazing memories were made for all of us. We really enjoyed our time at this home! Great way to bring in the New Year!
"We had a great time with our family of 6 at Sea Life Happy! Great location, great house, great beach. The house has everything we needed for a great 5 day stay. The check in and out is easy. Scott and Joda responded quickly with any questions or requests. Only negative was that we had to leave!
You really don't need a car. Everything you need is within walking distance. Consider renting a golf cart instead of a car. We also rented paddle boards and kayak from Beach Bum Rentals (you can get golf carts there too). They delivered them right to the back yard. Everything was so was so easy. Great vacation!"
Great house in a great location!
"Sea Life Happy was the perfect house for our family. Lots of space to relax and spread out. Great location-half block from the bay, five blocks from the beach, and one block from Pine Avenue. Once we arrived, we didn't have to get back in the car until it was time to go back home. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. We've visited the island four years in a row and stayed at a different house each year. But now we've found our house! We'll be returning year after year to Sea Life Happy!"

"We had an amazing stay with our family in Anna Maria Island. Scott and Joda are great hosts that are easy to communicate with. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay, having two master bedrooms was a plus since my parents were also staying the weekend. The house is stocked with everything you need pots/pan, dishes, paper towels, laundry detergent, beach supplies and pool toys for the kids. The fridge even had a couple of adult beverages stocked! Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the closest is the beach itself! Just and FYI that the garage stairs are a little steep and not blocked off by a door so we used a baby gate to prevent our toddler from getting too close. Overall we had a great stay and would love to visit again in the future."

Beautiful House... Great Family Trip!
"Our family of seven booked Sea Life Happy for our first trip to AMI. Our boys (ages 16, 14, 12, 7 and 2) absolutely loved the pool and cabana while my husband and I really enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen and watching the boys play from the balcony overlooking the pool. The house was incredibly clean and well stocked for everything that we needed. We really appreciated that the house had pool toys and beach equipment for our use, including beach towels! During our stay at AMI, our family went parasailing, in shore fishing and took a kayak tour from the Happy Paddler (our favorite) and spent time on a dolphin watching tour. The house is situated very closely to the Pine Street shops, so we walked there daily (the Donut Experiment is AMAZING!). The beach is in walking distance from the house and we loved that part. You can drive it, but no need - just use the rolling carts in the garage and walk it. My boys came to AMI really wanting to fish and the rods at the house didn't work, so that was literally the only downside, which is really small.
Scott and Joda were very accessible to any questions we had while staying at the house. We really appreciated them touching base with us while we were there. They have put a lot of love into Sea Life Happy and it shows. We had a great visit. Lots of memories made. Thanks so much! <3"
Great family home
"Loved the property, very clean, main living area is huge for gatherings. Very close to rest/shops, walking distance. Wifi is strong, all appliances in working order. A little light on towels/linens, but overall a fantastic 5 star experience. Thanks guys."
