You have access to kayaks and SUP, and while you aren't paddling about in the waters or watching dolphins from your backyard, you can enjoy the swimming pool and spa. The pool has a waterfall, swim-up bar, and shallow kids' area with fountains. The pool can be heated for a fee. Trip before kids start school
"We had high expectations for this property when we booked it. However, a lot of stuff in the house need to be updated. Bathrooms and showers need to be upgraded. Kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are so old and dingy. Couches are not in the best of shape. In general, we had better."
We are very surprised by this review as the house was completely renovated and newly equipped just over a year ago. Brand new bathrooms with decorative ceramic, oak cabinets, and granite countertops. Porcelain floors through the entire house and all new kitchen wear and furniture. Please take the time to read all other reviews and see if there is any such mention!?
Great place/great host
"Property was great! Hosts were great! Only issue was distance to a nice beach. I thought there was a nice beach nearby for the kids and there really wasn't. That has nothing to do with the hosts, but I would recommend making sure the area is what you are looking for when booking."
Nice Rental
"Over all a nice family rental. Nice, house, and pool. About a 15 min drive or more to get to most stores or resterants. The one thing I didn't like much was being micro managed by the propert owner. The hote tube and waterfall is can only be turned on by the owner. You have to get aholed of her when you want to use them. I had to message her to let her when I put the trash out. When you rent a house you have already paid for the amenities I feel as if you should be able to use them freely."
It was a pleasure to host Christina and her group and we are very happy they liked the house and enjoyed their vacation. I am sorry they felt micro-managed. The spa and waterfall are operated remotely per the guests' preferences and can be scheduled for the duration of the stay in advance, with no need to reach out to the property manager other than one time with the requested schedule. If the guest prefers to extend their requests every day for the day, it is also their choice. The reason for the remote operation is to ensure sanitation of the water and the minimum hours required for the integrated system to circulate. We do not wish to limit our guests' enjoyment but to ensure water sanitation. Same with the garbage removal, unfortunately, our experience shows that guests sometimes forget to take the garbage out despite reminders and the following guests find themselves with full garbage and recycling bins with no room for usage.
Great Pool and Dock!
"This home has a wonderful Pool and Dock. The owners where super nice and accommodating. If your looking to sit around and relax in a pool all day this is your house! The inside of the house is as it looked in the pictures. The AC in this house was AWESOME if you like it cool this is your house! Nice beaches are about an hour way as you can not swim in Apollo Beach (Look up the reasons why) We did go to Anna Maria Island crystal clear water AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend this beach.. As the owners about the go to places they have them all for you :) People had posted about having to ask for the hot tub to be turned on I found this not an issue and the owners did it right away with no delays. Honest I understand why they want to control this if we had control of it it am sure it would have been on more than needed and lets face it the cost is huge to run a spa like this. We provided the owners with a few things I felt are needed in the home nothing major at all and they where very receptive as they want your stay to be a 5 star Only drawback is that you have to pay to wash your clothing, that was a pain and felt like for what you paid to stay in the home this should not be something you have to pay for. This was disclosed in the booking so it was NOT a surprise I wanted to make this clear as this was not sprung on us. Bring Lots of quarters you will need them.. Our Family and Friends enjoyed our stay!!"
Family Time — Priceless
"Our family gathered in Florida for a wedding. There were 9 of us who enjoyed this property and it's beautiful pool for the duration of our visit. All of us, from adults to teens to 8 year olds, had space to relax and enjoy our time together. Communication with the property manager was wonderful! Any time we had a question or request he was quick to respond. Could not have asked for a better source of help and information."
