Description
St. Teresa beach is a private and secluded white sandy beach. All of the homes are private family homes - no hotels or apartments. The Cochran Beach house is located on the site of the first home built on St. Teresa because it was and is the most beautiful location on the beach. The water is 100 feet away - right out the front door. The home consists of one floor, a large main family room with open newly remodeled kitchen with three bedrooms off the main room. The master bedroom features a queen bed, a master bath with a large free standing tub, walk-in shower, and a walk-in closet. It has French doors that open to the front screened porch and the ocean. No parties/events. Must be 25 or older to rent. Smoking allowed - On the screened in front porch only. Pets allowed. Pet fee required $150, two pets maximum. The following breeds of dogs are not allowed (or mixes containing these): Dobermans, Rottweilers, Chows, Akitas, Pitbulls, German Shepherds, and Great Danes.$300 Damage Deposit. $200 cleaning fee due to caretaker upon arrival. Rent 7 nights only Saturday check-in and check-out. 10.5% State and local tax.

Cochran House
"Looking for a piece of paradise with the feel of home, our family booked a week-long trip at the Cochran House several years ago. We discovered a variety of wildlife from hermit crabs to daily dolphins amidst a rural, old-fashioned string of beach houses, but our biggest takeaway was that this was the first of many trips to the Cochran house! It’s screened-in porch is gorgeously comfortable, everything is dog-friendly, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you would need for anything from a fish-fry to a margarita respite. We can’t wait to go back next summer!"
Best location and breathtaking views
"We had so much fun when we first visited this home in March that we booked it again in May. The layout of the home is perfect for visiting with family and because it’s all one story it’s perfect for kids. Beautiful outdoor space with lots of water toys. Really spacious master bath and closet. The only thing that I would change about this house is putting in queen or king size beds in the two rooms overlooking the water and also in the cottage to maximize comfort."
Truly a hidden gem!
"This was just the vacation our family needed. The home itself has everything you need - beach toys, chairs, kayaks, and even a paddle board. Our children played sun up to sun down along the beach. Our 12 year old son took the kayak out daily for fishing. We even cleaned and ate several he caught! We played with local beach dogs and searched for sea shells. We had daily dolphin, white tail deer, and bald eagle sightings. We left feeling reconnected and rejuvenated. We’ll be back for sure!"
Relaxing and comfortable
"The Cochran Beach house is just as described; relaxing and comfortable. This house has everything you need, a mooring for your boat, 3 kayaks, a paddle board, charcoal grill, hammock, Adirondacks overlooking the gulf, fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. The caretakers are awesome; they even came mid-week to haul away the trash! It’s a hike to civilization; not even a convenience store in St. Teresa; but it’s not a problem as long as you know that before arrival. The IGA in Carrabelle (15 minute drive) has the basics and there are restaurants in both Carrabelle and Panacea. We especially enjoyed the food and views at Angelo’s. The recent activity in the gulf brought in some pretty smelly grass so sitting on the beach wasn’t as pleasant as we had hoped. We just took our boat out to Dog Island or Alligator Point and beached for a while. If you love the water and relaxing, this is the place for you."
