'South Cay' is an absolutely beautiful house in "Anna Maria", on Anna Maria Island, Florida. How close to the beach? There are only 11 houses between South Cay and the Gulf of Mexico beach, so this property is very close to the beach. Walk out the house, look to your right, and you see the beach access. Look us up to see how close "South Cay" in Anna Maria is to the beach! In addition, this is probably the nicest section of beach on the island. South Cay is also very close to Anna Maria's charming shopping area (Pine Avenue) -- you can stroll to a breakfast place or the ice cream parlor and walk to shops and stores. Some guests like to go to Disney World for a day. Very possible, the distance is about 110 miles. The Ringling museum in Sarasota is also a popular destination (17 miles). Egmont Key is a historical site accesible by boat.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: No cancellation will be made for inclement weather, no-shows, or any other reason invoked by the Guest. If Guest is renting between June and November, Guest should note that this is hurricane season. Homeowner is not required to rebate or refund rent in the event of bad weather or a voluntary evacuation. However, homeowner will refund the rent on a pro-rated basis under certain conditions described below: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless: • The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or • A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing renter. One of the best vacations we have ever had
"I was a bit worried when booking South Cay that it might not be quite as good as it sounded. If anything, the house is undersold on the websites. We simply couldn't think of anything that could be improved. It is clean and beautifully presented but manages to still feel loved and as if you were staying with dear friends or family. The only issue we had was very early on a strange fault with the beautifully maintained a/c system. This though was a masterclass in problem solving. After a whats app tutorial the owner arranged for an engineer to attend. This was at eight pm or so the same day having only reported the issue at six pm. I also stupidly broke one of the TV remotes and before I had even apologised properly another appeared via courier. We all feel that the time went far too quickly and want nothing more in the world but to return. I hope very much that one day soon this might be possible. I have no idea of other rentals in the area but genuinely cannot conceive that you could find a better appointed or equipped home. "

"The house was amazing, very clean and fantastic location as only 3 minutes from beach. The Pool was great as very large from other houses we have rented in Anna Maria. We have been going to Anna Maria for 5 years and this was one of our favorite house we have rented. We will definitely rent this house again. We felt Beatrice was extremely easy to work with and provided great information prior to our visit. We have in the past not been as fortunate which after all day travel you will appreciate what she provides. We would definitely give this house a 5 Star Plus rating! The house needs some update. It has carpet in bedrooms. The barbecue did not work...awful smell.
