Follow the brick pathway past lush gardens and palms to the front porch of this 2BR, 1BA rental—a vintage-inspired hideaway complete with original pecan wood floors and floods of natural light.

Come discover a lush haven within walking distance of the beach, where mature palms and large oak trees shade a grassy yard and tropical shrubs and flowers add a splash of color.

Palm Cottage is one of three rentals on this property, but you’ll never feel crowded by your neighbors. Bring your four-legged family member along—pups are welcomed and well-loved at our retreat.

A DAY AT PALM COTTAGE

Sunlight and seashore spirit will greet you when you awake. An ocean-hued master suite features a queen-size bed and flat-screen TV, plus a closet, chest of drawers and dressing table to keep you looking your best throughout your stay. The adjacent palm tree-themed guest bedroom has a full-size bed and armoire.

Steps away from both is the recently remodeled bathroom. Refresh with a walk-in shower with pristine subway tile, and get ready for the day ahead at a large granite vanity.

Take your morning cup of coffee to the enclosed sun porch, where you can gaze across the hedges and lawn to a sleepy street. Or flip pancakes and crack eggs in the kitchen—featuring a full suite of new stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and silverware you’ll need—then feast at an elegant wooden dining space for four.

The open design of our gathering space makes it ideal for intimate get-togethers. Serve snacks on the kitchen bar while the group sips wine in a comfortable living room with charming rattan furniture and bold, Floridian patterns. Or set up dessert in the dining room while enjoying your favorite flick on the flat-screen TV in the living space.

A string-lit patio with gas BBQ sets the scene for memorable dinners at home. Grill up your favorites and savor them at the shaded table for four, surrounded by tropical fauna.

Gulfport’s Waterfront District is something special, and at Palm Cottage, you’re in the heart of it. Just three houses away from the beach, you’ll feel the breezes and see the 4th of July fireworks right from our front yard. No busy streets stand between your front door and the warm sands.

There’s almost always something happening in this charming old school community—from art walks to farmers’ markets, sailing regatta to sandcastle contests. And when there’s not, a vibrant dining scene and easy access to the 38-mile Pinellas bike trail lets you create your own excitement.

We make it easy to see the sights with complimentary bike rentals. Just sign a waiver and get exploring. Yard is not completely fenced. Free Wifi.

Pet Policy: Pets with prior approval only and with payment of pet cleaning fee.

We will need names of all adults who will have access to the home and be staying overnight.

We do not have an automatic refund policy for hurricanes or tropical storms. If you are traveling during hurricane season (June 1 - November 30th) you should consider the purchase of trip/travel insurance.

Refundable security deposit of $250 OR a $49 nonrefundable damage deposit is required in addition to the rent, taxes, any applicable pet fees, any applicable pet cleaning and departure cleaning.

Minimum age requirements: We will rent to persons under the age of 25. The person paying must be at least 18, pay with their own card, provide proof of a valid ID and complete a full rental agreement. No persons under 18 permitted unless staying with a parent or guardian.

This home is not suitable for parties or weddings or "events" of any kind.

You are allocated two off-street parking spots with this home and are not permitted to park a third car in the off-street parking area even if a space appears to be available. If you need to park a boat in your allocated space, the nearest open street parking that does not require a permit is two blocks away.

Pet allergies: All homes are pet-friendly. This means that a pet has been in the home at some time. If you have pet allergies and do not take medication for them, you should not rent our homes. This does not mean that the home has not been cleaned, it simply means that we will not refund your money if you rent a "pet-friendly" home and find it aggravates your allergies.

Allergies to cleaning products: We generally make environmentally-friendly cleaning products available in our homes, including Mrs. Meyers and Honest Company products. However, our homes are cleaned by a professional cleaning company and we do not guarantee that some portion of the home has not been cleaned with a more "traditional" cleaning product.
