Bicycle rental is available for free at Fisherman's Village. Beautiful bicycle paths around Charlotte Harbor and throughout town. About Owner
Hi from Captain Alan Williams and his wife, Andrea. We love to share this gem of a town with our guests. We have lived here for over four years and moved from Ft. Lauderdale. Alan is a professional inshore/offshore fishing guide and is quite skilled in photography. Andrea is a professional bead artist, /teacher, potter and quilter. She also does dog rescue work with Boston Terrier Rescue of Florida. We bring our creativity and skills to our rental. We are on-site owners with 3 Boston Terriers. As hosts, we strive to accommodate our guest's needs and provide as much information in relation to the town of Punta Gorda, such as events, restaurants, shopping, closest beaches and much more. General Policies
We do accept well behaved pets...a non-refundable pet deposit would be asked for. Check in, Check out times are not written in stone as we leave a day between for cleaning. We always want to accommodate the best we can. No parties allowed on the property...that is why we are so close to downtown. This is a quiet, rural neighborhood so we like to keep it as such. The Peace River is across the street, so if you feel like casting a line in, we're sure you will come up with something. We have parking directly in front of the unit. There is key less entry to the building which is well lit on the outside. We respect our guests privacy but know that we are a 30 seconds away if you need something.
House Rules
This is a two story villa. Bedroom and Bathroom are upstairs. We are in a rural, quiet neighborhood, and 3 miles from Downtown Punta Gorda. We are on site owners so we are there to answer all questions and give suggestions as to what is going on around the area. Please note (very important) that there are steps to the upstairs bedroom and bathroom.
Terms & Conditions
We hope you would choose Punta Gorda for your vacation. Free bicycle rentals are available throughout downtown and beautiful cycling paths. Fishing here is awesome as well as day cruises to Cayo Costa, Boca Grande, and Cabbage Key. As our small, quaint town gets discovered, we continually grow. During season there are plenty of concerts, art shows, and the ever popular Saturday Farmers Market. Punta Gorda is very Pet Friendly and there are free bicycle rentals with scenic bike paths throughout the town. We have become a dining destination and an epicurean delight. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be completed 90 days prior to check in. Full deposit refunded. Upon renting, 1/2 of the rental fee must be sent to hold the unit and the balance 30 days prior to check in.

Loved Peace River House!
"We loved being your neighbors at the Peace River House for the month of February! Our accommodations were perfect and we couldn't have found a better place to stay or a better host! Thank you for all your great advice on places to see while we were visiting and for steering in the direction of some great restaurants! I think my favorite place was the Babcock Eco Tour. I loved riding through the swamps and all the beautiful wildlife! My husband being of Irish decent, was right at home at the Celtic Ray in downtown Punta Gorda. The fish and chips were the best we ever tasted and the live Irish Music was so much fun! I can't wait to visit Punta Gorda and stay at the Peace River House again! So much more than what I expected
"As a new user of Rentals by owner, I was doubtful but I was so very pleasantly surprised!!. Peace River house had every one of my needs met. The décor and coziness impressed me immediately! Andrea & Alan have thought of everything in this welcoming "bungalow". I enjoyed it thoroughly. They also made great recommendations for fun and food. We did the Christmas Light tour on the Charlotte Lady and it really put me in the spirit. Everyone of my needs were met beyond my expectations. Thanks a bunch....loved my stay"
