Centrally located and within walking distance to the Pilot House restaurant and Marina (Fishing and Dive Charters, Boat rentals), Key Largo Fisheries (fish market, restaurant, wholesale and retail fish dealers), Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder (approx 100 yards from our dock) - call to schedule a "swim with the dolphins" or kayak or paddle board from our dock those 100 yards and say hello. It seems they are always putting a show on :). You can also just pour yourself a cup of coffee, sit on our upper wrap around deck listening to the playful sounds of dolphin chatter and our ever-present mourning doves; relax on the dock and watch the fish, birds and manatees swim by. Our local manatee family (cow, 2 babies and bull) literally swim up to the dock to say hello :) when in town. Live like the locals, be adventurous and swim in the canal or paddle board or kayak through the mangrove lake. The Keys entertain with snorkeling, boating, fishing, scuba diving and restaurants to satisfy any palate. John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park at 3.9 miles offers the above plus beaches. Jacobs Aquatic Center is a world class 3 pool swim facility with purchase pass options available at less than one mile away. You are welcome to bring your boat and jet skis- the fixed bridge by the dolphins - clearance at high flood tide is 5 ft.
