Bike the famous Legacy Trail or visit scenic Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota; which is designated one of the top five beaches in America. Whether you visit downtown Venice (10 min drive) or Sarasota (only a 30 minute drive) you'll find first class boutique shopping, fine dining, pubs, clubs and entertainment, great salons, health and fitness, yoga studios, theater, museums, very popular Farmers Markets, outdoor cafes.. some amazing seafood restaurants, etc.

After a long day of sun & fun and beachcombing, you can return to Sandpiper Cottage, beach treasures in tow, and relax in the privacy your own cozy retreat.

Sandpiper Cottage is fully furnished and outfitted with everything you'll need to feel right at home. Features include your own private entrance and your own full kitchen and full bath. The main room is bright and cheerful with a twin size daybed with a very comfy Sealy mattress, high quality cotton bedding and towels. A trundle bed is available for a second occupant if needed for short term visiters (please ask host about special terms for a second guest). Included in your stay: central air conditioning, reliable Xfinity super high speed internet, Fire Stick TV for streaming anything you want. Comes with Xfinity X1 package, Netflix, HBO Max, YouTube, Gaia, Peacock, Hulu, etc.

The private kitchen has full size fridge and freezer, stove, cookware, dinnerware, glassware, flatware, all the cooking utensils and gadgets, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crockpot, air fryer, rice cooker, etc.

Free laundry and off street parking. There is a limited amount of lockable storage available, if needed, for your bicycle, extra bags, kayak, fishing or sports gear.

You can enjoy breakfast on your private patio as you soak up the morning sunshine and enjoy the birdsong, or in the evening sip a nightcap under the bright stars. Perhaps you'd rather relax by the glow of tiki torches in the sitting area at side/front garden area. Nice, quiet, friendly neighborhood. I am blessed to have a home where I always feel safe and lucky to have great neighbors who all look out for each other. 

This apartment is in the back part of my house, and I live in the front part. The two living spaces are completely separate and private, but are attached. Please know that I don't smoke, I am a quiet and low-key person, and I love to garden and maintain the exterior of my home for the enjoyment of all. I truly enjoy hosting guests but I generally keep to myself and stay out of your way. I always respect the privacy of my guests. 

NOTE: please be assured that I do a very thorough, very detailed, washing, cleaning and disinfecting before every stay. I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I take the health and safety of my guests very seriously.

There will be a small non-refundable pet deposit, the exact amount of which will depend on the animal and the length of the booking, and will be determined by the host at the time of the booking. Host will advise guest of all terms and total charges in advance, and if all parties are in agreement then we can proceed with...
