Savor the warm, salty breeze as you relax on the lanai overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Soak up the sun and listen to the waves in a lounge chair or build sand castles on the beach.
Our designer-decorated two-bedroom, two-bath + den direct Gulf front condo is in a small 12-unit complex - no crowds, just a quiet, peaceful beach with sea oats, dolphins, terns, gulls, pelicans shorebirds, sometimes a few old-time fishing boats, and even a few rare shorebirds such as American Oyster Catchers or Black Skimmers.
When you take a break from the beach, you can appreciate the spacious living room and open kitchen with artistic granite counter tops. Or cozy up with a book next to the fireplace in the den.
The two master bedroom suites, each with a dressing area, bathroom, and street-side balcony, are the perfect place to rest after a long day in the sun.
The master bedroom, with queen-size bed, has two dressers and a fully supplied desk and printer for your computer.
The second bedroom suite has two twin beds with inviting blue and white coastal comforters. Both bedrooms have striking white plantation shutters.
The lovely den has a queen-size sleeper sofa, a comfortable arm chair, a fireplace and a flat screen TV on the wall.
The linen closet holds plenty of linens and beach towels. There are ceiling fans in every room, including the bathroom dressing areas, and also 2 ceiling fans on the 22-foot screened lanai.
FEATURES One-week minimum. Sleeps 4 Professionally decorated 1612 sq. ft. (including lanai) on first living level - up one easy flight of stairs - no elevator. Carport for one vehicle, and spacious storeroom with beach wagon, toys, chairs, umbrellas and more are under the building, on beach level - living level is one flight up. There is a stairway from parking area and a stairway from the lanai directly to the beach. Dining table comfortably seats six - open the sliding doors to seat more on lanai. Beach equipment includes but not limited to, boogie boards, noodles, chairs, umbrellas and kids beach shovels and bucket. The location is spectacular! The condo is close to the Publix and there are many restaurants in the area if you would like to go out and explore the local cuisine. Bring your camera. We saw several manatees and dolphins and the sunsets are spectacular! The ocean was warm and the weather was in the 90's. Pack minimally, you only need a swimsuit and a good book his time of year and you are set for the week! We enjoyed every minute. Marilyn is responsive and a pleasure to work with! Happy Travels!"

Perfect location, perfect condo and ammenties, incredible view!
"We had a perfect beach vacation staying at this condo (home away from home)! First, let me say that Marilyn is an incredible owner host. Her instructions for staying at the condo were clear and detailed and she answered every question that I had. From the time we walked into the condo and saw the view and all of the furnishings, we new the week was going to be fabulous. The condo was definitely the most well stocked place that I've ever rented. From the kitchen to the beach storage room we never lacked for anything. I was concerned about having a couple of beach umbrellas and Marilyn went out and purchased a new one. There were at least 8 beach chairs and 2 umbrellas as well as a bike, fishing rods, and beach toys. Inside there are plenty of linens and other supplies that you might need. Being on the first floor, you have beach access with one flight of stairs. You walked right out onto the beach. Which was never so crowded that we couldn't find a space right out in front. There is a shower/hose available before you walk upstairs. There is a large rectangular table in the kitchen that seats 6 and is a perfect game playing table. Screen doors open and you are the porch with a view that makes you feel you are right at the waters edge. There were 4 of us staying there and the place felt so large. There are only 12 units in the condo, no elevator but easy access for unloading. 20 minutes walk down the beach and you are the Holmes Beach public access (great place for breakfast). Easy access to pretty much anything that you'd need I love Anna Maria Island and hope to be able to stay at Marilyn's place again. You will wish you could live there all year. Enjoy!"

"You will not want to leave !!. Beside the fact the beach is directly a step away, the view of the gulf while your are relaxing indoor or on the porch is beautiful. The condo is clean, modern and furnished to make you feel right at home. It was truly an amazing experience."
Truly wonderful condo, beach and wildlife
"This is a truly beautiful condo. The beach is at the bottom of a second set of stairs that lead directly down from the screened lanai. There were turtle nests and shorebirds nesting on the beach. One day two manatees swam by. We saw dolphins every day. We will visit again."
So happy that you enjoyed your vacation in our "truly wonderful condo." We also enjoy the nesting shorebirds, the nesting turtles and especially the comforting sounds of the Gulf waves when we sit on our lanai.

Location, location, location
"What a wonderful condo and such a lovely owner too! You could not ask for more! We loved waking up to the sound of the waves in the morning and retiring in the evening after watching breathtaking sunsets. Wake up early enough and see new turtle nests made through the night and perhaps even discover one that was missed! Watch the dolphins through the screened lanai or perhaps be lucky enough to have one surface about 10 feet away! Lucky me! Manatees swim past the sandbar and continue on their way. It just does not get any better than this. We miss it already and will count down the days until we can return."

"This was our second year staying here and we absolutely love it! The beach is clean and not crowded at all even on a holiday weekend. The weather is excellent and so much to do on the island. We rented a paddle board for the week, which was delivered and picked up for us! So nice! This is a true vacation but also like being at home...less expensive than a hotel and you can cook meals for a lot less than going out all the time. It's nice to be able to do a load of laundry if you need to. It's nice to not have to bring towels, beach chairs and umbrella, it's already there! The view from the lanai is spectacular, we spent a lot of time out there, we ate our meals there,played cards, watched sunsets. Bedrooms are so comfortable ,bathrooms are spacious,TV in every room, books to read, just so convient and relaxing."

"Wonderful condo - everything beautiful and clean. Wonderful beach. When we were playing and swimming on the sandbar, 2 dolphins and a manatee swam past us. It is just wonderful here. We have walked to several great restaurants suggested by the owner. We walked to the Manatee Public Beach one evening to listen to music and eat ice cream cones. We took the free trolley all around the island. So excited to be returning next year! Thank you"

"My family and I loved staying here. The condo is located right on the Gulf of Mexico, which provides a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo is right on the beach, so all you have to do is walk outside to get there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation."
Yes it is wonderfully relaxing. And summer is heavenly on our wide white Sand beach, especially because we have a sandbar.
Perfect Beach Front + Gulf Front Stay!
"This is actually our 2nd time staying at this beautiful direct beach + gulf front condo. It's open, airy, and had everything we needed for our stay (lots of cooking and dining items, books to choose from, a TV in each room, a desk in the MBR to do some work at, etc). While we only used 2 of the bedrooms, it's actually 2 BR's and a den...or 3 BR if you pull out the couch in the den. Besides being right on the beach t's also right on the free Anna Maria Island trolley line, so when I headed out for the day to do some work the rest of our family was able to just free trolley on down to the pier further north on the island for ice cream and fishing! Much thanks to the owners for our wonderful stay. We'll be back!"

Paradise on the Beach
"Beach Paradise Perfect view of the white sand beach and Gulf of Mexico. The condo was spacious and very beautiful. We used the second stairway off the lanai to go directly down to the beach. We walked to shops and restaurants and rode the free trolley. Every day we saw dolphins and many shorebirds. Our favorite activity was watching pelicans and terns dive for fish and enjoying the glowing sunsets each evening."

Das Beste war der Balkon, der es uns erlaubte, alle Mahlzeiten draußen einzunehmen und groß genug war für einen großen Esstisch und zwei Liegen. Perfect location and right next to the beach!
"This was our first visit to AMI and booking here was home run. The location on the island is absolutely perfect and I would totally recommend staying on the north end of the island because it is not as busy and full of traffic. The unit is right up to the beach which is really nice, you don't have to walk, its just there! The beach is nice and clean and not too busy which is nice! The unit itself is clean and well furnished. The decor is inviting and relaxing. When we first walked in, my kids were like "wow!" so that's high praise in my book. There is plenty of room to relax and roam around. The master shower is amazing and I miss it already! Dealing with Marilyn was a pleasure and she was very accommodating with early check-in and tips for our vacation. She responds fast and is willing to help. The lanai was really nice and roomy with a breathtaking view of the gulf. We saw dolphins and manatees which was awesome! I would recommend hitting the piers every day up north. There you will see creatures and meet friendly people with stories to tell. In the morning I would recommend going to The Donut Experience, and there you will have the most amazing flaming hot donuts ever! I would go with the maple glazed bacon. Also the Rod and Reel restaurant on the pier is amazing with the menu consisting of whatever they caught that day. Fresh! Go to the Mote aquarium! Bean point is pretty cool too! This island is nice because it's way laid back and not touristy. It's beautiful and it feels like home! We'll be coming back again to AMI!"

The best vacation home we have had the privilege to rent
"The pictures of the condo on site were beautiful so I expected it to be great, but it was better than I dreamed it would be. It was like walking into a magazine but it was also very organized and you could tell the owner loves her vacation home. Even the storage room had everything you would need to spend time on the beach and the condition of the beach furniture was excellent. My husband loves to fish and enjoyed having the use of the poles and fishing gear that went along with it. The food on the island was great and the owner gave us her list of favorite restaurants and things to do. We had one day of rain and I loved it. We were happy just being in the condo. I would definitely go back and highly recommend Marilyn's home to all my friends and family."

"It is no wonder that this condo received the "Excellence Award", it is everything we wanted and more! The owner is so accommodating and helpful and has equipped this beautiful condo with everything you could possibly need and more! The condo is very spacious and very well decorated. The lanai is larger than most and has very comfortable furnishings - the view from the lanai and condo is simply breathtaking! Very close to the beach, you can hear the gentle waves of the beautiful, clear water from the gulf of Mexico! There is a beautiful sunset every evening right in front of you! The moon also sets on the water leaving a moonlit gulf right in front of your eyes! There is covered parking and a storage unit that is equipped with beach chairs and many other items for the beach. The property is located on beautiful Holmes Beach and is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and whatever else you may need. Fun & More will deliver kayaks, bikes and whatever else you may need, directly to you! Scott's Deli delivers food right to your beach chair! We loved everything about this place!"

"This gorgeous condo is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty of the Gulf of Mexico, the soft white sand of the beach, and the laid back life style of Anna Maria Island. The condo is not your normal vacation condo. It is exceptionally decorated. Amenities are plentiful. There are ceiling fans in every room..even on the screened-in lanai, where you can read, relax, and enjoy every sunset. The bathrooms are great....one with a full size bathtub and one with an extra wide shower. There are even steps leading from the beach so that you don't have to go to the front of the condo to return home. It is a clean, comfortable, warm, and welcoming home away from home."

"We really enjoyed this beautiful beachfront condo with a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico. It is extremely clean and attractive and very well equipped . Everything is provided, including beach toys, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. We spent most of our time sitting on the large lanai watching the surf, shorebirds, dolphins and the sunset."

"We enjoyed and appreciated the beauty of Anna Maria Island!! We sunbathed, biked, swam, shopped, and ate way too much!! Marilyn was the perfect hostess, even though she was not there She emailed us recommendations of restaurants and things to do and also left an information packet in the condo. On our last night, we at at Marilyn's favorite restaurant, The Starfish Company, and the food was absolutely delicious. We wish we had eaten there earlier in the week, as we would have gone there more than once! We recommend trying that restaurant earlier on in your stay. We enjoyed starting our day by sitting on the huge lanai on the comfortable patio furniture! We also were blessed with perfect weather every day! Thank you, Marilyn, for sharing your home in "paradise"!! We will definitely be back!!"

A week in paradise...
"Our recent stay at Holmes Beach was simply amazing. We were pleased to walk in the door and find our vacation rental extremely clean and ready for our arrival. We were impressed by the tasteful decor, amazing amenities and the overall cleanliness of the home. The panoramic Gulf views and the proximity of the beach were the frosting on the cake! The 22 ft. Lanai with new patio furniture was so relaxing and a great spot to view the stunning sunsets. There were so many other fabulous details: top shelf linens and towels (oodles of them in each bathroom!); extremely well stocked kitchen with every appliance one could ever need along with plenty of dishes and silverware; washer and dryer in a nice sized utility closet; beach towels; a well-stocked storage unit just below our unit with beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards, children's sand toys, beach "noodles," and a cart to haul everything easily to the beach. I know I'm forgetting details! The owner has thought of everything! The winding stairway at the front of the condo allowed easy access to the private beach. We saw dolphins and enjoyed so many birds, including pelicans and white ibis. We had hoped to see a black skimmer at sunset, maybe next time. Our weather was perfect - in the upper 80's and low 90's with a lovely breeze off the ocean that kept us comfortable. Two days were quite windy and we had great waves, not overwhelming, but just perfect for body surfing! I can't tell you the number of times I heard the words "this is just perfect" out of my husband's mouth! We appreciated the fact that this was not your average Florida chic beach decor, but very well appointed furnishings that could easily be featured in Southern Living magazine! We left Anna Maria feeling as though we had just experienced a week in paradise. No one wanted to leave at the end of the week. One more thing: the pictures on Tripadvisor.com are incredibly accurate! This is a beach vacation that we hope to enjoy for years to come and we've already made our reservation for same time, next year. Relaxing retreat
"The condo was perfect! The owner is responsive and helpful. The condo is clean and nicely decorated. The photos on trip advisor are accurate. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed (spices, pam, pots and utensils). There is a TV in the bedrooms and living room. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of pillows and a couple soft blankets. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and wash rags. There is washer and dryer in the unit. The weather was in the 90's and it was helpful to have the ability to wash our sweaty clothes. The screened porch was nice to keep the bugs out. We could open the doors for fresh air and hear the sound of the ocean. The furniture on the porch is attractive and comfortable. The beach is accessed via a staircase out the front door...a few steps and you are on the beach. The condo has a storage room with beaches toys, noodles, boogie boards, chairs and umbrellas. The water temperature was a perfect 89 degrees. We saw dolphin, manatees and several different varieties of birds. The grocery store (Publix) is about about a 5 minute drive. Publix is a well stocked grocery store but it has a limited organic section. We stopped at Wholefoods and Costco on our way in for meat and produce. Both stores are about a 45 minute drive. There are several restaurants in the area and a fish market. Most require a car or a bicycle. We only ate out once at the Rod and Reel Pier. The restaurant is a great place to watch fisherman and pelicans as you eat. It is a fairly small place. They don't take reservations but it is on the water and it is a great place to watch the sunset. The grouper was fresh and the waiter was attentive. I didn't see an elevator at the condo. There are stairs to both the first floor and second floor units. This isn't an issue us, but if you have mobility issues, it is something to consider."

The perfect rental for a memorable vacation on the beach...
"Marilyn maintains high standards for her rental: meticulously well kept and clean, warm cozy atmosphere, well stocked modern kitchen and bathrooms, and large lanai. Location right on Holmes Beach means long walks on the white sand beach and beautiful sunsets. What I liked best was being able to walk to stores, restaurants, and the local library. Take it from someone who traveled extensively, Marilyn's beach front property is the perfect place for someone who wants a relaxing vacation in a beautiful area. There's also lots to see and do if you are willing to travel a few miles to the high end shopping areas and museums."

"The condo and location are beautiful. The condo is spacious and very well maintained. We especially liked the large bathroom with double sinks located off the master bedroom. The lanai was wonderful. My girlfriend spent hours on the lanai relaxing. This condo is located right on the beach, and it's one of the prettiest beaches we've ever seen. We can't wait to go back."

"Marilyn, thank you so much for sharing your fabulous condo on anna Maria Island. The condo was so well kept and complete with every convenience. It was such a delight to have the storage room so handy to the beach and it was wonderful to find the kitchen stocked with spices and vinegars and other cooking basics. The beds were very comfortable and the closets provided plenty of space. The sitting areas, lovely dining room and screened deck provided hours of pleasure and the dolphin-filled water and sunset views were amazing. Your attention to detail was apparent in each room and your care made our visit totally luxurious and enjoyable. And, as if that were not enough, you provided us with your lovely upstairs neighbors, Nancy and Gordon and Matthew who were so friendly,fun and helpful."

Very nice place for a vacation right on the beach
"We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place right on the beach - Marilyn's place is very nice, spacious and clean. A lot of design details such as dimming lights in bathroom showed how much the host cares for her guests. The location is convenient, it is not far from grocery stores and supermarkets. Overall, it's a great vacation choice!"

"We have chosen to return to this superb condo for over 12 years because it is much more than just a condo rental. It is a beautifully appointed beach condo. Designer decor, yet also designed for comfort & everyday life at the beach. Upgrades each year, and many extras, such as large, furnished, screened lanai, with ceiling fans & a spectacular view. It is right on the beach - the white sand & blue-green Gulf of Mexico, in a quiet section of Holmes Beach. You can actually spot dolphins playing in the water. Location is also close to many restaurants, shops, fishing from beach or piers, marinas, library, and bike & kayak rentals. You can be as busy, or as restful, as you choose to be."

"My wife and I, along with her mother vacationed here in June 2013. From the moment we turned the car off in the driveway we were simply amazed. The view from this condo is remarkable, the accommodations were outstanding, and I honestly couldn't think of a negative aspect of our vacation if I had to. The condo was so very clean and decorated exquisetly, not to mention there is a fully stocked store room down on the beach level. This was such a great benefit because we didn't have to worry about travelling with beach chairs, umbrella's, etc. Marilyn, the owner, went above and beyond what was expected, by not only making the booking process extremely easy and providing for any and every need inside her home, but by offering many suggestions for places to go and things to do. During our stay she even took the time to check the weather in our area and offer suggestions on things to do on a rainy day. As I said, we would be hard pressed to find any negative aspects of our vacation, and we can't wait to come visit this little piece of heaven again very soon!"

"From the moment you open the door to this Gulf Shores condo on anna Maria Island, you know you are in a magical place. To your right, you will see a gorgeous panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Directly in front of you is a cozy and comfortable study with a fireplace, Hdtv and sleeper sofa. Located to your left you will find two spacious bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one with a large walk-in shower and the other with a bathtub/shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second has two twin beds. Granite counter tops and fully stocked cabinets fill the kitchen. Ceiling to floor windows stretch across the dining/family room. Just outside these windows is a 22-foot long screened lanai with perfect beach and gulf views. This is not your typical condo, but rather a luxurious gulf retreat. Amenities include: WiFi, Hdtvs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, phones, ceiling fans in all rooms and comfort, comfort, comfort."

"I loved staying at this condo. It was in a great location, right on the beach, close to parks and great seafood restaurants (like the Sandbar). The condo itself was clean, beautiful, and very spacious. I liked sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean for dolphins and pelicans in the morning. I had a wonderful time. I will be staying here again."

Wonderful Stay!; Condo, Beach and View were Perfect
"Nothing but positive things to say about our stay here! We had a wonderful, relaxing week. The condo is beautifully decorated + has wonderful views of the Gulf of Mexico. It's direct beachfront too, which we could access from either the main entry or the spiral staircase that's directly attached to the screened in balcony. Everything in the unit was lovely, and there was plenty of room for the four of us. We spent the bulk of our time either relaxing on the balcony while watching the waves and enjoying the view + breeze, or down on the beach & in the water. The beach is beautiful, pure sand and no rocks, and the water entry and as far out as you can walk is all sand too. Our favorite things to do were taking long walks on the beach, sandcastle building, and watching the stunning sunsets...oh, and getting ice cream to eat while walking on the pier at the end of the island. The kids enjoyed both swimming and skim-boarding, and also loved the fact that there was a free trolley available to get them around the island so they wouldn't have to depend on us driving them everywhere (they're 12 and 17 so old enough to go places unattended as long as they're together). We're really looking forward to visiting again the next vacation that we take in this area!"

"My wife and I have vacationed at anna Maria Island at least yearly since we were married 44 years ago and sampled many fine homes and condos,both bayfront and oceanfront there.After experiencing a week in late July at this condo,we have found what we hope is our permanent selection. The gorgeous beach and ocean views and sunsets from the balcony and living room/dining room are unexcelled.Within 10-12 steps of the balcony is the beach sand and a handy outdoor shower.The balcony is spacious,perfect for our morning coffee,breakfast,reading. This is certainly no typical"beach rental",as furnishings are tasteful and comfortable,no evidence of wear.In fact,there was no malfunction of any appliance,lights,fans,etc. and obviously,this property is exceptionally well maintained. The den/3rd bedroom was especially appealing to me,a unique area of privacy which can be darkened during the day if desired for movie watching or watching the Olympics as was my case.We also enjoyed the proximity to major league baseball as the Rays play within a 45 minute drive.The kitchen has every accessory imagineable.A big plus,one hears no sound from other units within the condo complex. Our week long experience proved to be most satisfying,serene,and pleasing,largely due to our enjoyment of this condo.To us,it represents the most desirable accommodation at the foremost location on the island,also a gem in itself.My wife's 2 sisters and their families stayed in nearby properties,both were jealous of our find."

It's almost better than home!
"This condo is the nicest place we've ever rented. It is like staying in a good friend's home. The weather was beautiful during our stay and we were able to swim in the wonderful Gulf every day...sometimes twice a day! The dolphins and manatees obliged us by putting on great shows for us. It was so nice to sit on the screened lanai and to have breakfast, lunch, or to watch the gorgeous sunsets. If there wasn't much of a breeze, the ceiling fans did the trick. And during the evening, sitting on the lanai, you could hear the waves gently rolling to the beach. The rooms are large, very clean and inviting. You really don't lack for anything. There are several televisions in the living room and bedrooms,each with cable connection,and books. And the kitchen was one of the best provisioned we have ever experienced. There are 2 separate bathrooms with lots of fluffy towels, and a complete full-sized laundry setup. The condo itself sits about in the middle of anna Maria Island. If you choose to not drive your car while on the island, it's easy to catch the free trolly which travels from the north end to the south end. There are wonderful restaurants...from gourmet, to ethnic, to funky local fare. There are fun shops to browse, a Publix supermarket, 2 drug stores, a hardware store and lots more. If you get bored here, it's your own fault! In short, we had an incredible vacation and we would not hesitate to book again."

Beautiful Beach Condo
"Professionally decorated condo on beach; exquisite view of Gulf; well maintained; very clean; many restaurants close by. We love the open living room/kitchen which look out over screened porch. The porch is perfect for sipping your coffee as you watch the waves or sunsets. The beds are very firm which may bother some."

A beautiful, warm, and comforting condo on the Gulf!
"We simply cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo. It is as if you are a visitor in someone's home, rather than just a renter in a condo. This second floor condo is spacious and very well decorated and is filled with amenities. The screened-in lanai (with ceiling fans) allows you to relax as you view the gorgeous gulf waters, no matter what time of day. There are "beach steps" to use so that you can easily return to the condo without having to go all the way to the front of the building. The master bedroom is spacious with a wonderful large shower in the bathroom. The second bedroom is like a "mini suite" with its own bathroom, and has a great bathtub. The beds are very comfortable. One of our favorite rooms is a small den area, complete with an extra comfy couch, flat screen tv, and even a fireplace! Washer and dryer are in the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare and serve meals. The location of this condo is in the middle of anna Maria Island and is within close walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The owner is very gracious and accomodating and takes great pride in caring for the condo. We have already made reservations for 2 more stays!"
