Our location is the best in Orlando! Why, because we are approximately 10-12 minutes north of downtown Orlando where the nightlife, restaurants and bars come alive in the evening. Located 5 minutes from Altamonte Springs shopping, this large shopping center has ( Macys, J.C. Penny, Dillards), AMC Theatres, and dinning. Direct access, 40 to 50 minutes, to all attractions (Disney, Universal, Sea World), and just 45 minutes from the Atlantic coast (Daytona and New Smyrna beaches). Close to everything, but not on top of the traffic and tourists. Although there are many opportunities for golfing and cycling. There are other places to visit, I will focus on two of my favorite destinations, they are Winter Park and Mount Dora. Winter Park, just a five minutes drive to a friendly area, where you can stroll along the main brick lined street with outdoor cafes, bistros and upscale specialty shops and boutiques. On Saturday visit their Farmers Market from 7am to 1pm. And in December enjoy their Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony in the park. www.shopwinterparkvillage.net/events/ The village of Mount Dora is a charming, one hundred plus years old historic village. Mount Dora was once famous as 'The Antique Capital'. Mount Dora now boasts a wide variety of retail gift and specialty shops and boutiques and is located just a short 45 minute drive. Special Events include: *November. Annual Light UP Mount Dora with 2 million sparkling lights in Donnelly Park. *December. Annual Christmas Parade. *February. Annual Arts Festival. *February. 3rd weekend in February, Annual Mount Dora Music Festival.

"I stayed here for 3 months and it was exactly what I needed. Kathy was so accommodating and her guest house has everything you need to live comfortably. The pool is amazing and so private. The address may be in Maitland, but it’s so close to I-4 so you can get everywhere pretty easily. I definitely recommend it and would stay here in the future if I decided to take a contract in Orlando again."
