Perfect spot for our family
"This was a fantastic experience 4 my family. My son and his wife and their three daughters and a friend absolutely loved their stay. The unit was just as advertised... Fantastic! A great spot for paddle boarding which is very important to our family and convenient to shopping . And the manager was wonderful. Before renting and during renting she was always there and available. The Coronavirus restrictions had started in this was a perfect place to be because everything that we needed available at that unit . We cooked all our own meals in the unit cookware available was fantastic . And the pool was used constantly. We all want to come back to Marathon Key and hopefully we will be able to rent the same spot."

Not quite what we expected
"While we read all the reviews carefully, this property was not quite what we expected. One of the bedroooms is directly off the main living space with frosted glass doors. That made changing and sleeping a challenge. Also, the kitchen was not well stocked. We had a group of 7 and had to wash silverware after every meal since there was not enough for 2 meals. In general, I felt the kitchen lacked some of the basics. The towels were well worn. The property was very clean and the property manager is responsive but overall we felt like it was tight for the number of adults we had."
