Family vacation
"Overall, a great stay. Our family of 5 had plenty of space for our 5 day stay. We appreciated the extra blankets & pillows, and all of the beach towels and toys provided for our beach days. Check in and check out was very smooth and organized which was much appreciated!"

We had a great visit!
"The property was exceptionally clean, the check in was very easy. The owners, Dan and Ruth were immediately available to answer any questions. The owners have done an excellent job providing information about the area, things to do. We had all of the beach supplies that we needed, umbrella, chairs, beach towels, etc, etc. They have thought of everything! The home is full of natural light, very comfortable beds, nice towels, high end bed linens and very, very clean. The fenced back yard is big and was perfect for our small dog to run and chase lizards. I appreciate all of the owners attention to detail, we had a great time at Villa Grande!"

Spring break trip
"This is an amazingly large property that is perfect in every way! Lots of welcoming touches, and a detailed information guide booklet! Conveniently located between Venice Beach, Caspersan and Manasota Beaches. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Ruth and Dan made everything perfect for our extended weekend"

Looking good Villa Grande
"We certainly enjoyed our month stay in the Villa Grande home. Friendly, safe neighborhood near all attractions the area has to offer. Comfortable beds, large fenced area for our Scotty puppy to roam free. The owners/managers were terrific to work with during booking and our stay. We definitely would consider staying here again. Five Stars on this one!"

Perfect!
"We rented Ruth's house for 9 nights as an intern place to stay as we waited to close on our home during a cross-country move from Wisconsin to Florida. Not only was the house clean and welcoming it also was the perfect place for our dogs. We loved (and miss) the large, fenced backyard. Ruth was great about communicating and quick to assist when we needed to add days to our rental after already checking in. She was wonderful about responding to emails and quickly answered all questions we had. The house has a garage which was a lifesaver for us and the proximity to several gulf coast beaches was great. We loved exploring the local parks and beaches as well as being able to walk our dogs through the neighborhood each morning.
This home was close to several groceries as well as shopping and recreation. I highly recommend Ruth's house and would stay again."

Great private yard for dogs to run
"Very clean and comfortable home near the Brohard Paw Park and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Our puppies enjoyed the large, very private yard and the residential neighborhood was a good place to walk them."

Great for dogs!
"This house is big and clean. The tile floors are easy to keep clean and there are throw rugs everywhere you need one. It is nicely furnished and decorated. The master bedroom has a huge closet with lots of shelves, a luggage rack and laundry basket. The linens are nice and the beds comfortable. Full beach gear comes with the house: Beach chairs and nice beach towels. The laundry is in the spotless big garage. There's even room for your car! The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve. There is a six top table in the yard with an umbrella and a nice barbecue. The house comes with two bikes with helmets and an air pump. My favorite part was the amenities for my dogs: Dog treats in the welcome package, dog toys, dog towels and a huge fully fenced yard accessible from the Florida room. There is even a pooper scooper in the yard. It's a block off 41 so it's convenient and quite. It only takes 10 minutes to downtown venice, nakomis or the beach."

Traveling with two small dogs
"The home was beautiful and very clean! There was a very warm welcoming basket and a notebook filled with very helpful information. We loved the fenced in back yard for our two small dogs. The ferry passes were great and all of the beach items were very useful. Also, they accommodated a very late request to book the home. Outstanding customer service! We plan to return as soon as possible."

Amazing Place to Stay!
"I stayed in Venice Fl for a week on vacation, and it was amazing. Ruth was so helpful with directions to places. She had a list of great places to eat around. The house was so nice, I'd recommend to anyone going on vacation to rent a house, so much more relaxing and homey than a hotel. The private beach was quiet and nice. For anyone who has a dog I'd definitely recommend the doggie parks so much fun. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation I'd say Venice is the place to be."

Awesome firsts with our pet
"Our rental was the best part of this vacation! House was clean well stocked and right in the middle of everything (within a 5-10 min drive) First time we brought our dog with us and this house was literally perfect to accommodate. Owner had information on everything for both us and our pet. Found one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in and that was from literature in home. Unfortunately red tide was in and hurricane pushed us out early but that had nothing to do with this great property. Would come again - house set up perfect for more than one couple - lots of privacy,"

Villa Grande in Venice
"Great location. House as advertised - well maintained and clean. Private beach was a lot of fun - very unique. Fenced yard was excellent for our family - it was a nice relief to let our dogs out without worry. Nice big yard. The Paws dog park on the beach was so much fun! We truly enjoyed our stay in Venice - new people we met were very kind to take the time to answer questions about the area. We also had some amazing dinners at area restaurants. We would highly recommend Villa Grande for a vacation rental. Ruth was great to work with for the rental. Thank you!"

Absolutely beautiful, well equipped & comfortable home!
"We really enjoyed the house, kitchen, yard & the Venice area in general! Spent the majority of the trip fishing and we were very successful! The highlights were a 38" King Mackerel off the end of the Venice pier, a 150 lb. Tarpon up in Tampa bay and a bunch of Snook in the Venice Inter Coastal waterway! Best trip ever to Florida!"

Clean, spacious house with large fenced back yard
"We were extremely happy with our stay at this rental. The beds were very comfortable, plush towels and the house was very clean and spacious. Good location with several restaurants close by and only a ten minute drive to downtown. Great pet friendly house with a big fenced in back yard. Our dog was in heaven with the dog beach near by. Hope to stay here again."

Nice and Neat
"The house was everything the pictures illustrate and more. The owners/property managers have taken care to ensure you can walk in, relax and enjoy yourself. The property is well maintained, clean and tidy. My pets enjoyed having a yard that was big enough for them to run around in. I appreciated the extras (like the beach chairs, umbrella, bicycles, etc.) that were available for use. Some nice extra touches (such as a snack basket, water in the fridge, a welcome email, a local area binder, etc. - everything exceeded my expectations! Thanks!!"

Stayed in this house while I was waiting for my condo to close and had a terrific experience with the owner Ruth, she was always available to help and answer any questions I had. I had two cats with me and the house was extremely pet friendly. The location is terrific right off of 41 but far enough that you couldn’t hear any road noise but could easily get to things. Would definitely recommend short or long term rent"

Clean, comfortable, all we needed
"Our service dog, loved the fenced in yard, and the bag of dog treats that were left with the snacks on the kitchen counter, made all of us feel at home. It had more than enough space, and were lucky enough to find a place that offered us the rest and relation we needed. Manasota beach was a few minutes away, as were many restaurants. We will definitely book again. It was our first VRBO, and this stay has made us realize how uncomfortable hotels have become."

Villa Grande was perfect!
"Villa Grande met all my expectations. The property, location and amenities were exactly how the listing had described it. I had my two dogs with me so the large fenced in backyard was great. Plenty of room to run and play and, the fencing was in excellent shape so I did not have to worry about the dogs getting creative and finding a way to explore the neighborhood. I brought my cloths, some personal items and dog food, that's it. Everything else is provided for you including beach towels and chairs, bikes, a grill on backyard patio and a washer and dryer. I could not have been happier with the level of customer service. Ruth responded quickly to all my emails and questions. If there was something I asked that she did not know, which was rare, she researched it and got back to me, usually the same day. We were ten minutes from Brohard Paw Park, a fantastic off leash beach for dogs, and the same distance to the public beach. There were plenty of activities and restaurants to choose from. I absolutely will add Villa Grande to my list of places to re-visit and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend it, especially if you are traveling with dogs. Thanks again Ruth, the dogs and I had a great time. It was just what the doctor ordered."
