"Beautiful House The house is exactly how it is pictured online, beautifully decorated and very clean. Our favorite spots to hang out were the pool and screened in patio. We appreciated all the little touches that mean a lot; the house was stocked w/ everything we needed (and we replaced what we used), the follow-up call to make sure everything was going well, the fishing advice, the fresh limes (lemons weren't ripe yet) and so much more. The location is very central so you're never too far away from anything. We would definitely stay here again."

"What an amazing home! My family has been renting vacation properties thru VRBO for many years and have never had a bad experience, however, this one tops them all! The owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated, beds are super-comfortable (even the pull out sofa was comfortable!) and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The pool was amazing (larger than I thought it would be) and certainly the highlight of our stay! Having the kayaks available was great. It was so easy to drop them in the canal and be in the open water within a few minutes. Mary and Jeff were the perfect hosts and readily available for anything we needed. If you are considering this home for your vacation, I couldn't recommend it more. You won't be disappointed! We can't wait to come back! My only regret - I forgot to sign the guest book. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. All newly renovated. Screened in porch with TV was welcome on rainy day. Many really good restaurants in Marathon which is why it's our favorite Key. We even got to have fresh lemons from their tree for our tea and fresh limes for our cocktails! We were so lucky to have a manatee family visit us twice. They came right up to the dock and let us pet them"

"We loved this house from the moment we walked in! It's simply beautiful with tons and tons of amenities. My son and I are both Celiacs (autoimmune - no gluten) so I do a lot of cooking. The kitchen was wonderful to work in! Fishing was fun out back any time of day (small hooks with cut up frozen shrimp works great!) or even via kayak out toward the end of the canal. The pool was delightful and nice to have to ourselves. Our favorite part of the house was the back porch and restroom/laundry room. We spent a lot of time there hanging out listening to music or watching TV. The beds were super comfy and everything was well equipped. We slept great! I can't say enough wonderful things about the house including the wonderful and timely communication with the owners. Be sure to check out Curry Hammock State Park during high or low tide and fish in the inlet there - watch for gators though if you're wading in the water! Had a great afternoon at the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters. Went shark fishing (it really was pretty awesome - I was dubious) with our new friends at Sea Squared Charters - Capt. Chris was a lot of fun! Enjoyed a nice meal at the Island Fish Co. at sunset. This was a great house to either stay at and enjoy all day or use as a base point as you explore the Keys. "Fabulous Owners, Beautiful House and Location We enjoyed our week stay in this lovely house. Booking and communication with owners was flawless. We will definitely be returning guest. We brought our boat and two vehicles and there was plenty of parking for the trailer and vehicles. Easy access to the canal for docking our boat. The pool was so refreshing after a day out on the boat. House has plenty of cooking utensils and appliances. There was nothing that we were missing."

"The house and location are great! We loved jumping off the boat and going right into the pool, in fact the pool was one of our favorite things. The house was stocked very nicely and you are so close to everything. Its fantastic to walk 10-15 steps to your boat and run less than 5 miles to the reef. Jeff and Mary were great hosts with tons of great information and really want to ensure that you enjoy our stay. This was hands down the best vacation rental experiences I have had."

"This house has everything you need and more. The beds were super comfortable, we loved being so close to the ocean with our boat, the pool was fantastic after fishing every day. We loved the screened in porch! There really isn’t one thing you could ask for. Even the manatees visited us! The house is decorated lovely and completely updated. "Where do I begin. The home was exactly as promised. Beautiful and very comfortable. The back yard was very relaxing and the pool was a good size. The shower and laundry room were so handy when coming out of the pool. "We spent a fabulous week in this gorgeous home - everything you could ask for including a wonderful pool and tons of space to just sit back and relax. Furnishings are top notch and the home is so comfortable. Nice to have 3 bathrooms and the king size bed in master. So close to great places to eat and have a cocktail and only 45 minutes from Key West. Stay here, you won't regret it - we will be back!"

"My husband and I spend Christmas and New Years at this beautiful canal front home in Marathon. Lemon Key Cottage was the best vacation home that we've ever rented in the Keys. The Home is pristine. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The kitchen is beautiful with all new, top notch appliances. The kitchen was very well stocked as was the whole home. Impressive furnishings and loved the shiplap! Watching TV on the lanai in the evenings in January will be my best memory. Loved Lemon Key Cottage. See you next year !!"

"This home would win awards in the Parade of Homes. The standard of furnishings, decorations, color, light, landscaping, and impeccable cleanliness is just stunning. I can tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into this well stocked home. My husband and I spent two weeks at this home and loved every moment. The pool is spotless and large for Keys' standards, and the canal has many fish that we caught. The most relaxing (besides the comfy beds) was the lanai especially at night watching TV. "This is a very clean, fresh and accommodating house. It truly makes you feel at home here and has everything you need. Enjoyed feeding the fish every morning from the dock there's lots of different species to watch. At night we had a crab that liked to hang out with us when we grilled. Got lobster from the next door neighbor, delicious!!! All the neighbors are very friendly in this neighborhood."

"We had a great time at this house. Mary Jo and Jeff put their personal touch on the furnishing and decoration of the house. We felt right at home. Everything in the house is so clean, well equipped and organized. Jeff even called us on day of arrival to make sure everything goes well. The location is close to Sombrero beach, which is one of the top beaches we've been to. Fishing in the canal is fun. Caught some snappers and barracudas, and hooked a couple trigger fish. The outdoor gas grill and the patio table are a plus for spending time by the pool. This house is a great place for rest and relaxation. We were glad that we discovered it. Highly recommend this property."

"This is the perfect house for a keys vacation. The house was exceptionally clean inside and out. We found nothing to be broken or falling apart. All amenities were supplied, all we really needed to bring were our clothes and shower supplies. Canal is a 2 min. boat ride to the Atlantic and centrally located in Marathon. Canal is a clean, water flowing canal so no smelly stagnant water. Owners have great communication. We had a great relaxing vacation here and would recommend this house to anyone."

"Jeff and Mary were kind enough to share their house with us for a week-long vacation in the keys with our two year old son. The house was just right for what we needed. It was clean, sufficiently updated, and very very comfortable! Our son practically lived in the pool the whole time we were there and we loved being able to walk out the door and jump right in our boat, the kayaks, and/or our paddleboard and head straight towards the ocean.
