Cape San Blas is a rare little gem of a peninsula and there really are not may places left like this. My child grew up coming here every year spending her summers filling up buckets of shells, snorkeling in the bay, collecting star fish and sand dollars, paddle boarding with her friends, building sandcastles and bonfires right on the beach. These are the memories and great times our family will always hold dear.
The Cape is a 20 mile strip of land that curves out into the Gulf of Mexico. The tip of the Cape is home to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park; rated America's #1 beach by Dr. Beach. There is almost no commercial development. There are no high-rise buildings. You will love it! To enter a reservation, click on the "Owner Info" tab, scroll to the bottom of the page and click where it says "CLICK HERE - My Website". It's that simple! You can also find me on facebook at "Cape San Blas Vacation Rentals By Owner". DUE TO MY CHILDRENS SEVERE ALLERGIES, I CANNOT ALLOW PETS OF ANY KIND/SIZE/AGE! Thank you for your understanding.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Coconut Cottage. The house is beautifully decorated and designed, clean, and cozy. The ocean views, and beach at your back door step made for dreamy sunsets and lots of memories. We came down with my mom, and our two young boys. It was the perfect set up for the five of us. The white sandy beach is ideal for shell searching, sandcastle building, and taking walks or naps :) The cottage has everything one needs to enjoy the ocean, and we had a blast on the boogie boards! The tiki hut is so cute, and perfect for grilling out in the ocean breeze. Susan is so friendly and promptly responded with all of our inquiries prior to the trip. She even checked to make sure we arrived safely, as we drove down in some nasty weather. You simply could not ask for a better owner, or place to enjoy a vacation away. Cannot wait to return to The Coconut Cottage!

We had a wonderful vacation and getting to stay in this lovely cottage made it even better. Loved the coziness and comfort of the cottage, and the view was amazing. The owner was very accommodating and was a joy to plan my vacation with. Can't wait to come back soon!

We had our extended family of 6 stay in this adorable beach house. Attention to detail and owner's pride was evident throughout the home. The new renovations were beautiful from the floors to countertops, fixtures, and furniture. They had the most comfy beds ever and premium linens to match. The layout is great with the upstairs area to give kids a space of their own. The movie, games, and beach gear were an added bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with premium cookware, bar ware, dishes, and utensils (I was shocked to see Williams Sonoma everything in a rental!). The back deck overlooks the gulf and it is so close to the water unlike many homes that have a super long Boardwalk. The home is situated to face the gulf on two sides so you get amazing sunset views from all of the bedrooms. The downstairs lounge was the cutest and has a bar, plenty of seating and a grill if you like to entertain. And I cannot say enough about the decor. It's even better than pictures and looks like it's out of a design magazine. The house was super clean and Susan was a pleasure to work with. She was so prompt to quickly respond to any questions I had. I've stayed at many rentals on the cape and this one was the most comfy and homey of them all. It just had charm about it that made me fall in love. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great vacation. We had so much fun and truly appreciate how much you put into making your renters have such a great experience!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Coconut Cottage! This adorable, well furnished home, nestled in among the sand dunes, was the perfect place for our beach trip. Our family has been to the Cape many times, but this was one of the best rentals we have stayed in. The kitchen is VERY well stocked! Normally, we bring a lot of kitchen supplies because you never know what you are going to get, but this kitchen had everything we needed. The beach toys and games, kayaks, and paddle board were a wonderful addition for family fun! The beach views were amazing and could be seen from EVERY room! The beach was even closer than the pictures show. We were traveling with a one year old and this house was very easy to "baby proof". The owners are lovely and very accommodating. They responded quickly, both before and during our stay. We would definitely come back to Coconut Cottage...hopefully next year!

What a wonderful trip!! The Coconut Cottage was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were perfect, the cottage was so homey, and the deck was a sanctuary!! The walk to the beach was short and the view from the house was breathtaking. Our family was sad to leave. We are already looking forward to next year and spending another week in this perfect little slice of heaven!

We had the privilege of being the second! renters of this wonderful home:) With 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a 2 year old, this cottage satisfied everyone! The beds were amazing, kitchen stocked with everything you could ever need, and a slice of heavenly, ocean view from every window. To our delight there were games, puzzles, movies, books and even beach toys for the little one and chairs and umbrella for the big ones:) We spent every morning on the back deck looking at the beautiful gulf as we sipped coffee and caught up with our family from Kentucky (as we joked about the 30 degree temps back home!)
Susan answered every email promptly ("yes, there is a crockpot in the cottage"...) and checked on us by text during the week. She decorates like Joanna Gaines~and promised to Google her:)
We brought 2 bikes that we rode on the beach ~ first time!. We went horseback riding with Two-bit stables (highly recommend) ~ first time! We attempted to have a fire on the beach for smores, twice, but it was pretty windy and we were nervous about burning the beach down! I grew up in NC and we always went to Myrtle Beach. You can't do any of these things on their beach! And they don't have the gorgeous, white sand!! I think our family is sold! My husband said it was so nice to not fight for an elevator, with millions of other tourists, to get to the 21st floor of your condo, where you need binoculars to see the ocean straight down, while overcoming your fear of heights! The kids did miss putt-putt, but the ice cream and doughnuts at the Trading Post and the nightly games of Spoons more than made up for it! We laughed and made wonderful memories with my parents and my brother's family that we will treasure. Thank you Susan for providing everything we needed so we could concentrate on relaxing and enjoying each other!
