We rented for a month, and the house was excellent. Very clean and comfortable, and so close to the back back bay, front ocean, great restaurants, and of course St. Augustine and surroundings. The hosts were attentive and very accommodating. We had access to fishing gear, bicycles, beach equipment, and many other amenities.

Ed and Lexie’s home was just what we hoped for when planning our escape from winter. The location was wonderful, a very quick walk to the beach at one end of the street. You can walk a little farther to the other end of the street and find the river with beautiful views and sunsets. There are restaurants within walking distance as well.
The house has everything you might need for indoors and out! Lexie and Ed are great to work with and made us feel at home in their house. We are happy that we had the chance to stay in their home and escape the New Hampshire winter for a few weeks!

My family travels to the area an average of twice a year and we all decided this was our favorite place we've stayed. The location is unbeatable: walk 1 way to the ocean and the other to the intracoastal, 5 min drive to Publix, and 10 mn drive to downtown St augustine (possible to bike there as well). The house is beautiful yet comfortable with some "homey" touches. We hope to return!

I really enjoyed staying @ Ed & Lexie’s home! Everything was clean & in great shape! I enjoyed their use of beach towels, chairs & other stuff, they even had fishing equipment for your use. We were traveling from Texas so this was nice for us. We enjoyed the front porch & backyard. I have stayed in many vacation rentals & have to throw away a lot of food before leaving because the owners don’t want anything in the left, well Ed & Lexie allow you to leave non-perishable food items, great concept! Less waste! Thank you for allowing me & my family to stay in your beautiful house!

Wonderful stay at the beach. Ed & Lexie provided everything we could possibly need, including bicycles, beach towels, etc. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in their lovely home !

I wanted to preface my comments with the fact that I am a local from Vilano Beach and I work and reside in Okinawa, Japan. Every year I return home every year to Vilano Beach for vacation and rent a home for the month of my vacation.
This rental was by far the best rental I have experienced in ten years. Its location is perfect for those wanting to relax, enjoy water activities that include being a few steps from the beach or just a few more steps to the Tolomato River, fishing great restaurants in the area (Aunt Kate's, The Reef & Caps) that you can walk to, a Publix Supermarket just down the road, the city of St. Augustine a 10 minute drive away and is located in a beautiful setting with friendly folks. This beach rental definitely meets all the requirements for; location, location, location!
In addition to the above, the house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and was the perfect size for a family of four and other members of my family that stopped by to visit during our stay. The house is well stocked with everything that you would need for a short or long stay.
The owners, Ed and Lexie were the perfect hosts. Always kept our family informed and made us feel most welcomed in their beach rental. Its obvious from inside and out that they take great pride in offering their home up as a beach rental. The perfect setting to relax and enjoy my home town of Vilano Beach, Florida!

This was an amazing home for us to use. Our college group of ladies (too old to be called girls any longer) loved Ed and Lexie’s place. It was the oerfect size, and their hospitality was incredible! Everything was clean and comfortable, and they provided us with beach toys, umbrellas, etc. we could not have found a better place to stay.

This is a great location to stay away from the tourist part of St Augustine but not too far. The house is very modern, clean and well equipped. We didn't need to bring anything except for grocery shopping. I would stay here again for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay in Ed and Lexi's home! The house was well appointed, very clean and organized. They've thought of all the fine details needed for vacation including beach equipment and bicycles! St Augustine is a quaint beach town with great restaurants and activities for all ages. We will definitely be returning
