This home is a newly renovated single family waterfront home directly on a canal with spectacular outdoor space with multiple decks and both bay and canal views! The home is situated at the north end of the island within an easy bike or golf cart ride to Anna Maria's Pine Avenue shops, the bayside beach, Anna Maria City Pier and gulf-side beaches! Every amenity was thought of when this home was lovingly renovated! This home is so much fun you may never even want to leave.... bikes, kayak, SUP boards, multiple games, bocce, firepit, fishing gear, cooler, cornhole, foosball, Xbox, and tons of beach gear!
The home's ground floor has a one car garage and indoor/outdoor space with sitting area, TV and extra fridge. The pool is heated year round and the spa provides some extra warmth and relaxation at the end of hard day at the beach. The home has two grills, gas and charcoal, as well as an outdoor shower! This home also has a large private dock so you can bring your own boat and store in your own backyard! Head upstairs to the home's main living floor and you will find a gorgeous open concept living, dining, kitchen area. The huge kitchen island and breakfast bar has counter seating with stainless steel high-end appliances and every kitchen gizmo and gadget imaginable fit for every chef's need. You will be able to whip some fabulous meals at home or prep some libations for entertaining on one of the home's spacious covered balconies! There are two balconies on the first floor alone off both the front and back of the home with plenty of seating!
The main floor is also home to one king bed master suite with closet, TV and en-suite full bathroom with tub/shower combination accessible from the living room as well. The living room has games and large screen TV for enjoying some family time as well as washer and dryer. Wind up the stairs and you will find the top floor has 3 additional bedrooms. There is a queen bedroom with closet, TV and full en-suite bath with walk in shower also accessible from the hallway. The 'family room' has a TRIPLE (twin) bunk as well as queen bed, closet, TV, and Xbox. The final MASTER SUITE with king bed and TV boasts a sprawling master bathroom with separate closet, toilet closet, soaking tub, huge walk in shower, double sinks, and even it's own wine/coffee bar! The top floor has two additional covered decks off the front and back of these homes with bay and canal views respectively. This home is truly going to be a home that you will want to come visit again and again for your AMI vacations!

We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance during these unknown times. We are doing everything to be fair and flexible however we do have to maintain our small business and protect our homes and owners. When we confirm your reservation we are promising to hold your dates in the home of your choosing. We will provide 100% refunds in full to guests who we are not legally able to host in the event vacation rentals are unable to operate, however we are not providing refunds automatically should guests choose to cancel unless we are able to rebook the week. You can see the details of our cancellation policy below. By booking travel without insurance during these times you assume the responsibility for the possibility for being unable to travel. We appreciate your understanding.

Registered Guest must provide copy of ID, be at least 25 years of age and be present throughout entire stay.
25% of total amount due at booking. No dates or rates will be held for reservation requests in which no deposit has been paid.
25% of total amount due on or before 60 days prior to check-in date.
50% of total amount due must be paid on or before 30 days prior to check-in date.
Full amount due must be made at time of booking if check in date is within next 30 days. After booking confirmed, prices will not be adjusted for any newly published rates applicable to dates of existing reservations.
CANCELLATION POLICY (Please see rental agreement for FULL DETAILED POLICY):
Cancellations for any number of nights in which the home cannot be re-rented, non-arrivals, late arrivals, early departures or alterations that result in a loss of revenue will receive no refunds or price adjustments. If unforeseen issues arise, the Manager/Owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation subject to issuing a full refund without penalty or responsibility for providing lodging elsewhere. In the event the dates of the reservation fall within a date range of a mandatory island evacuation, unforeseen unavailability of the home reserved AND unavailability of a comparable alternative home, or inability for vacation rentals to operate due to executive order or international travel restrictions, the guest will receive a full refund of all base rental rate, fees, and applicable taxes without penalty. All cancellation requests must be initiated by Registered Guest through the website in which they booked and/or be in writing via email. Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or by a member of the party other than the main Registered Guests. If cancelling entire or portion of reservation, refunds of any amount paid are subject to the specific policy of website used to book or fully on the property manager’s ability to re-rent the home. Only if able to be re-rented, will a refund will be given in the amount of base rental rate plus all fees and applicable taxes in the amount we were able to re-rent the property. We do not make any guarantee that we will be able to rent the property at same rate or same number of nights as originally paid.
PENALTY-FREE 100% REFUNDS for Reservations Greater than 60 Days From Arrival:
If cancelling entire or portion of reservation with an arrival date greater than 60 days from arrival a full 100% refund will be provided of all rental rates, fees and taxes. If cancelling the reservation 30 days or more prior to scheduled arrival, you may move your reservation FOR THE SAME HOME to any comparable available dates (with same rental requirements, i.e. nightly minimum, Saturday - Saturday, etc) within 1 year plus the difference in published rate, if any. Trip/Storm Insurance: We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance including comprehensive trip cancellation insurance due to unforeseen eventualities including hurricane or tropical storms. Hurricane season is June 1st – November 30th. See rental agreement for details.

Immaculate home with peaceful water views you can enjoy poolside or dockside. Caught lots of fish off the dock. The home has everything you need -including a tire pump for the bikes! Also, the hot tub remote DOES work- the instructions for use are in the binder in the kitchen. Do yourself a favor and rent a golf cart to make life easier to get around the island. Everything you need is already here. Just bring your food, clothes, and toiletries. The owners are super quick to respond and are available if you need them. This is the cleanest home we have stayed in to date. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! We had the best time and got some much needed relaxation in. I would not hesitate to recommend Once Upon a Beach rentals. They definitely have their act together and know how to manage their properties! FYI- if you need more space for family the home next door is the exact same layout. Check out their website for their other homes. I didn’t realize they had so many gorgeous homes to choose from! Stop reading this and go book this home now!

I visited this property with my husband, two babies and my mom. We had an excellent experience. The house was very nice and clean. Surrounded by decks with views of the bay and the canal. Great location. We rode bikes to the Anna Maria pier (very nice). Close to the Waterfront restaurant which was our favorite! The set up in the house was great. Lots of fun activities to do. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this house. Also, we rented all baby equipment from ABC store which was very convenient because they had it all delivered for us when we arrived.

We very much enjoyed the property and the location. The home had all the amenities as promised but there were a few things that didn't work. For instance we weren't able to use the hot tub, the remote for it did not working. We also weren't able to use all the bikes because the tires had no air, and we couldn't find a tire pump in the garage.

We had an amazing experience at this property. The cleanliness, decor and location were perfect! The house is maintained beautifully. We took full advantage of the pool/hot tub, fishing off the canal, playing foosball and enjoying meals on the deck. Highly Recommend!!

We rented this house for the entire summer from May to Aug 2020. It really was a special house for us. We used all the amenities. Kayak/ paddle boards/ dock/ fishing/ used the beach access across the street. The garage was super handy, to keep our bikes and one of our cars in. House is super nice - all updated - not a single complaint!
The swimming pool/ spa was worked really good, since it was covered the pool did not get too hot - and when needed the spa heats up super fast.
The house decks make the home feel twice as big, giving everyone lots of extra space. The service was super timely, when needed the Mng company was an easy text/ call away!
We will definitely be back!

This was a beautiful house in a prime location! We were right on the canal which was great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Just across the street from beach access and close to all the shops! The home is beautifully renovated with amazing outdoor living spaces and views of the ocean. We would definitely stay here again!!

This was a great place to spend a week, and this house was full of great surprises. It was absolutely clean, very new, with comfortable living space and a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the bikes, found the pool to be a favorite hangout, enjoyed the view down the canal (much nicer than photos show), foosball was a hit, and I could go on and on... We finally tried using the kayak and paddle boards, and wow!! That bay water is clear and amazing and one of the best parts of the visit! To sum up things people want to know: there is bay access across the street for water use only; the view from the house is gorgeous of the water
and Sunshine Skyway bridge at night; the ocean beaches are a bike ride or car drive away (we took a car to take stuff with us) and Bean Point was our fave. There’s a bay beach public park area just up the street. Plenty of GREAT beach gear in this house: towels, chairs, beach cart, umbrella, sand toys, a cooler...you’ll want for nothing and don’t bother packing your own! Good proximity to restaurants, shops, ice cream you can walk or bike to. Nikki was easily reached for questions and very responsive. Had a great week in a beautiful home, totally recommend!

The property and the location offer more than can be enjoyed in a week. With two decks overlooking the canal, two with ocean views, kayak, pool, bikes and all the island has to offer it is a dream vacation spot for those looking to relax. The house is beautifully appointed with all the amenities. A real bargain and someplace I will return to as frequently as possible.
