Beautiful elevated Beach House with a heated pool situated in the sought after residential north end of Anna Maria Island. Superbly located, only 2 minutes walk to the best beaches, only in the north end do you have access to the Gulf and Bay beaches, watch the dolphins, see the huge variety of birds and watch the glorious sunsets. The location is just what is needed for a relaxing holiday. The house offers two outdoor areas, the pool is situated in a mature tropical garden and has a paved area for loungers and large sheltered deck with a ceiling fan. Relax on the sofa and chairs or dine at the beautiful wooden table. For breakfast sit on the front deck overlooking the tropical neighbourhood, in this very quiet area. Large choice of recommended restaurants nearby. Stroll to the famous Sandbar Restaurant, have dinner and watch the sun go down over the Gulf of Mexico. Fishing, boat trips, golf, shopping all with in easy reach, information pack provided. Note we visit for 9 weeks a year to make sure that the property offers a very high standard to our guests.

Staycation
We had a great time staying on the island. Being locals of the area, it was nice to enjoy our own beaches and acting like tourist for a change. I rent a beach house each year just to have some time to stay out by the beach for a few days. with busy lives and work its not feasible to live out on the beach but it sure is a nice break to get to go out and enjoy the beaches. this was very nice short walk to the beach and the pool was perfect to come back and cool off. great location and very nice set up of every thing you could possibly want was there. great home away from home.

This was our third stay and it was excellent as usual.

Lovely home in desireable spot
June 2019. Our group included 4 adults and 2 children. This lovely home had everything that we needed, and is a short distance from the beach. The owner is very gracious and helpful, as is the property management company. The home was very clean. We had plenty of hot water and the AC worked perfectly. Our granddaughters loved the pool. The gas grill worked great to cook up steaks and hot dogs. The ice maker had plenty of ice ready for us when we arrived and throughout the stay. The dishwasher worked perfectly. Everyone slept well and the neighborhood is quiet. The washer and dryer worked great so that we did not have to take any dirty laundry home. The owner provides nice beach towels and other amenities. The bicycles at this home need to be maintained better, but we found 2 that worked to get us around. The pool gets a good amount of shade during the day, and the downstairs patio area is very pleasant, but you might need something to combat the mosquitos, depending upon the time of year.

We loved it!
Everything was wonderful! Easy booking, and checking in and out. Good communication with the homeowner. The house is fully stocked. The homeowner has thought of everything! We have rented many houses in the past at several other beaches but none have compared to this one. The location was fantastic, we enjoyed both the gulf and the bay. We really enjoyed watching the dolphins in the bay, they were so close to shore! The house was very clean and well-maintained. The pool area was beautiful, however; we did not spend as much time there as I would have liked due to the mosquitoes. I would highly recommend this property and I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Peaceful and perfect!
Our family of four had the best time at Fern Cottage! The pool area was beautiful and the walk to the beach was super quick.
Kitchen was fully stocked which made preparing meals at home so convenient. This was our first visit to AMI and I know we will be back! Thank you Gillian!

Wonderful
The hose was lovely
We enjoyed the pool once it got up to temperature. It was a short walk to the beach. We used the bikes that were provided every day.

Very nice house
This house was very nice. Close to the beach access plenty big for our family of 5. The pool was nice and the pool area was great for grilling and having dinner outside. The house was very clean the beds were super comfortable. The house was super clean no dirt in sight. The only suggestion I would make is the blue beach chairs be replaced the fabric is ripping at the seam and the beach wagons wheel was off. They had several bikes which we used daily plenty of pool toys for the kids. I would definitely stay here again!

Only issue I’d say is the pool is not accessible from inside— you have to walk outside to get there. I’d also expect that for 600$ a night there would be soap and shampoo but perhaps that would be asking much

Perfect in every way!
Fern Cottage was perfect and just as described. It was extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The upstairs deck was perfect for breakfast, overlooking a very quiet street. The pool area was outstanding, lots of seating, lots of shade when you needed a break from the hot AMI sun. The fridge was a welcome addition when we wanted a cold drink. The pool was amazing, lots of room to swim and play. Gill was very easy to communicate with and our security deposit was quickly returned on our return. Key pick up and return was very straightroward. Fern Cottage is ideally suited for both beach and bay and we hope to return one day.

The house is wonderful and we had a fantastic time
The house is wonderful and we had a fantastic time there. I have rented many properties in different locations across Europe and the States and I can honestly say that this is the best.
The house is beautifully decorated, well equipped and felt more like a home than a rental property. We had everything we needed down to beach cart and bicycles.
I do hope to return again in the not too distant future
