The home offers a relaxing tropical environment with affordable luxury--but without all the excessive fees rental management companies charge.
This fabulous house is only 2 short blocks to the white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island and a short walk to the restaurants and shops on Pine Avenue. Walk up the stairs to front entry and enter into the large living room. It features plush seating for the entire family and a large flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure. The open floor plan streamlines the living area, kitchen and dining room. Haupia House has a well equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and a perfect place to prepare that catch of the day!
There are 2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa to host up to 6 guests. Relax by the pool and spa area, take out your boat and or just take in nature in this tropical setting. Also explore the island on the free trolley that runs all day, every day!
BED & BATH DETAILS
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a flat screen TV along with an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom has a twin and full size beds with a flat screen TV. The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room which sleeps 2.
The lush tropical outdoor oasis includes a beautiful outdoor dining area with plenty of room for family and friends. Cook out on the gas grill and enjoy those balmy evenings around the pool, which has a hot tub and a shallow tanning area. There is also an outdoor shower to fresh up after your day at the beach.
The canal overlooks the mangroves where you can observe several species of wildlife, including nesting birds and manatees at certain times of the year! There is no bridge to get to this canal by boat.
This property also offers 3 kayaks for use during your stay. PFDs/Life jackets required for all riders.
7 day minimum stay.
Pool heat is $120.00/wk. Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 83° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 76° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions or loss of use of equipment or amenities.
Please note that the owners at times store a personal boat in the north side yard, an area which is secured by a privacy fence and generally not visible to guests. As such, the owner maintains security cameras on the front of the home. There are no cameras within the home or at the rear of the property. Owner respects & maintains the privacy of its guests.
Eric & Carrie live in Parrish, FL, within 30 miles of Haupia House. Both are originally from the Boston area and moved to Florida more than 15 years ago. Eric is a real estate appraiser while Carrie is an accountant. They have 3 children, 2 boys & a daughter. The family is actively involved in ice hockey, baseball, boating, fishing, volunteering & their church.

Eric & Carrie purchased the home, later to be named Haupia House, to be used as their home away from home. Despite living locally within Manatee County (less than 30 miles away), the home offers relaxation & enjoyment for their family and their guests--a convenient getaway when the home is not shared with guests from around the world. As such, the property is very well maintained & stocked with amenities you would find around your own home. There are no shortcuts at this property. Sheets, cookware, beach amenities, bedding, silverware, furniture, artwork, etc. are as most would find at their own home. The home is maintained at high levels with constant updating to living areas, exterior spaces, etc. In the last year, the home has added new quartz tops in the kitchen, remodeled guest bath, extended a covered patio and remodeled the exterior with stained cedar privacy screening.
